@12goldstars ahh I was so excited when I first saw the pic! It might be an evap though I'd test again in a few days if you're only 7dpo. FC for you 🤞🏼

12goldstars · 30/10/2019 23:23

So I cracked and tested. I’m 7dpo but have been feeling very dizzy the last couple of days. I was doing the children’s bedtime at the time so wasn’t fully concentrating and I was expecting a negative. Nothing appeared in the first few minutes. I stupidly didn’t look at the time and as nothing came up immediately, as it did when I did tests the last time, I put it down. Went to bed two hours later and there is a very faint blue line. It’s possible it’s an evaporation line but these aren’t supposed to be blue. Does anyone have any idea? I probably just need to test again in a couple of days.

@MrsD0147 sorry meant to say Sunday I'm getting mixed up with last month!

Mycrazylife85 · 30/10/2019 21:35

@Nic555 that's a true thing. A few days of moping and then I feel better. I'm already feeling really down tonight because deep down I know AF is knocking. I have never ever taken a PT thinking It may say anything other than negative 😔

waitingformyturn · 30/10/2019 21:34

@MrsD0147 I'm due on Saturday. Last month af can exactly 14dpo so I'm assuming for the same this month. I'm really not feeling any signs of it so far though. I'm hoping I didn't get my ov date wrong.

MrsD0147 · 30/10/2019 20:52

@waitingformyturn how long do you have to wait? AF is due Friday for me but I am so tempted to do a FRER in the morning! Know I shouldn’t though!

My DH is the same he gets worried each month I think but probably because I get more crazy.

Nic555 · 30/10/2019 20:51

@plaw I know how you feel. I didn't expect to get a positive my first month but at same time I was disappointed. It's so difficult. Once AF buggers off again you'll start feeling so much more positive xx

Plaw · 30/10/2019 20:31

@Nic555 I’m definitely sad about it but I’m trying to put the big girl pants on and tell myself that it was the first cycle. And I know lots more now, going to order some opks online now so maybe we have a better idea next month!

Hoping to see some positives from you all!😀

Nic555 · 30/10/2019 20:15

@plaw Aw that's so annoying hope you're feeling OK about it? And at least you know more about how your body works ready for your next cycle.

@Mycrazylife85 same here. Af usually arrives 12 DPO last month I had spotting from 10DPO which is tomorrow. I don't mind too much if she arrives but rather it be Saturday so my luteal phase is longer.

I keep thinking she is going to arrive tonight. No idea why. I think I'm imagining AF symptoms like I imagine pregnancy symptoms. I do feel a little more naggy but surely we aren't all just naggy when AF is due and I could just be tired. Last few months she gave me no warning really no pain nothing. Last month I just felt snappy and literally a pain for a second and then she came. Month before no warning at all xx

Mycrazylife85 · 30/10/2019 20:08

Ah that's really rubbish @Plaw if it helps I've had something really similar last cycle and it's crap. I was so annoyed I wasted a test.

I had a look through my flo app and most cycles af arrives 12 dpo although last month I had brown spotting from 10do until I had fresh af arrived at day 14. I'm 10dpo. We managed to dtd on positive OPK day but that was that. Never mind

Plaw · 30/10/2019 19:52

Well girls, that’s a BFN for me. Sad
It’s weird how it happened, tmi as usual, I peed in the cup and as I was waiting for it to come up, I wiped & there was a little bit of brown CM. So I knew straight away that only one line was arriving on that stick. But if a waste really.
1st cycle so I knew it was going to be a long shot.

Best of luck to you all, you’ve been a great support to me this cycle.

omikron · 30/10/2019 18:16

I'm always moody at this time of the month too. Too much pressure and anxiety

@Nic555 @GoAwayAF @MrsD0147 thanks for the support feels good to rant on here 💗

@MrsD0147 I'm massively resisting the urge to test now! Desperately trying to hold out for a missed af.

DH has picked up on how moody I'm being - I think he's worried about me - but I just can't help it this close to af. The rest of the month I'm positive and fine.

omikron · 30/10/2019 17:58

How is everyone holding up? I'm 6/7 dpo now and the will to test is strong. Although my temp chart is ugly so no real chance of pregnancy again I don't think

@waitingformyturn God your sil sounds a nightmare. If you're not using protection then in my eyes you're either trying or you're stupid. Totally unfair to be saying that to you. Very insensitive . X

GoAwayAF · 30/10/2019 17:15

@waitingformyturn SIL sounds immature, try to not raise to it and remember we’re here if you need to rant!
I tested this morning and it was negative... going to wait and see what I get on the 4th Nov now (AF due then).

MrsD0147 · 30/10/2019 17:07

Is anyone else still trying to resist the urge to test? I really really know i shouldn't but just want to know! AF due on Friday so i should definitely wait shouldn't i?!

@waitingformyturnyou are definitely not being over sensitive that is a really rude comment to make if she knows you are TTC

waitingformyturn · 30/10/2019 13:54

@CouscousEvaporator I'm glad it's not just me that thinks this thought I may have been being 'over sensitive'. She is 4 years younger than me and quite emotionally immature. I told her that if she's not using anything she'll be running this risk every month but she responded with 'we use withdrawal' 🙄 just my luck she will get pregnant even whilst using withdrawal 😂. Logging it is definitely the way forward - always helpful for future reference!

waitingformyturn · 30/10/2019 13:51

@12goldstars thanks for the support x I'm due on Sunday so trying to hold out and not waste tests. I've ran out of ICs and have 2 Sainsbury's waiting in the wardrobe. This cycle I have barely any symptoms normally I am symptom spotting loads. Last night my cervix was low and it NEVER normally is - usually I can just about reach it even right before af - but I know a low cervix is an af sign. I'm feeling a bit heavy headed but everyone has a bit of a cold at work. When are you testing?

CouscousEvaporator · 30/10/2019 13:48

@waitingformyturn she sounds very insensitive and rude. Also anyone that started messaging me to describe the contents of their knickers to me would get a “TMI don’t text again” reply lol

@12goldstars I have heard of heart rate being a sign but more in relation to resting heart rate and Fitbit users.

I’ve been getting heart palpitations and dizziness but the boob soreness has gone thank god. Not sure how to take any of it but just logging it for future reference anyway.

12goldstars · 30/10/2019 13:35

waiting that is ridiculously insensitive of your sil. Pretty stupid too if she doesn’t actually want a baby. When are you going to test? I hope you get your bfp.
Sally I’m also feeling more tired than usual. I’m itching to test but it’s way too early.

SallyCinnamon3009 · 30/10/2019 12:21

Absolutely knackered today but not sure if that's a symptom or cos I have switched to de-caf 🤣 boobs felt a bit sore and still feeling poised off/fed up. Just hope they are not all signs that AF is on the way

waitingformyturn · 30/10/2019 11:47

Sorry I've done a name change as well from MrsLEB in case that pp sounded random lol

waitingformyturn · 30/10/2019 11:47

Struggling today (10dpo) I had a mc in July at almost 7 weeks. SIL is aware and has been texting me recently saying that her and her bf (who have been together 5 minutes) aren't using protection, she doesn't want a baby but is just chancing it, keeps telling me when she has ewcm (she must have picked that up from me when I told her about us ttc) and now had a message from her today that she's 4 days late and bricking it. AIBU or is this just really insensitive? X

12goldstars · 30/10/2019 11:00

Tamalama most people don’t feel any symptoms at this stage so don’t count yourself out yet.
Is an elevated heart rate a symptom? I tried to do a workout this morning and had to stop because my heart was racing and I felt dizzy. It’s still too early to test for me but I went and bought some tests this morning just in case. I went to a supermarket further away than usual and still managed to bump into a school mum. I hope she wasn’t looking into my trolley too closely.
