@hiddenfigure I'm not sure what app your using but yeah I'd have thought you scan the pregnancy test in the HCG one and the opk strips in the LH one 😊

Sorry no idea, not used that app but would makes sense to only use the lh bit. If you haven't even ovulated yet then you won't detect hcg

I don’t really understand...

I use the femometer app and scanned the ovulation stick in to the LH test and HCG test. Both showing high levels. But I should only count the LH (ovulation) one?

So I should only scan pregnancy tests into the HCG part?

Sorry about the silly questions - I am so clueless! (Where is the facepalm emoji lol).

LG is ovulation hormone, hcg is pregnancy one

@hiddenfigure Yeah that's completely normal hun, mine went from 0.38 to 0.87. Do another one tonight tho just to make sure 😊. Ladies correct me if I'm wrong but LH is the hormones that build before you ovulate and HCG is the pregnancy hormone

Also, what’s the difference between LH and HCG levels? Both showing as high - 86/87.

Having my OPK show nothing yesterday, today I have a peak of 86...! Looks like I am ovulating. Is this normal to go from 0 to 86 in about 28 hours? Should I test again later?

@claireb707 I’m 11dpo today and it’s so hard not too read into this 😬😬 ... The only things I’ve noticed really is the odd tender feeling in my breast and more hot and cold flushes than normal so it’s anyone’s guess right now ... currently telling myself I’m not and expecting AF tomorrow or Saturday to help lessen the disappointment as last month I literally convinced myself I was pregnant and clearly wasn’t!

@Makeafamily19 I'm the same. 12dpo today and spent mon - tue thinking I had all these symptoms so I must be pregnant.
And then all day yesterday thinking I had no symptoms so a test is going to be negative

I've just seen on Superdrug online the 2 pack of FRER tests is on offer for £8.49 for anyone who needs them. I'm gonna get a couple of packs as until my periods return from the mini pill I think I'll just have to test monthly to see if anything has happened.

Welcome @hiddenfigure you may not have ovulated yet or could have been super early or you may have missed it. I get my peak CD10/11 so if I tested CD12 I would miss it. I have short 25 day cycles though.

I'm 10DPO and feel like I'm going insane 🤣 jumping between 'ooh this could be it' to 'let's be honest it's never going to be positive'. I keep saying I'm not symptom spotting but my brain does it subconsciously. Send help!

I have the exact issue as you, every month my cycles varied from 32-42 so had no idea when I ovulated.

With the opks I used them once a day from cd9 around 10.30am. when they started getting darker I moved to 2 a day and did 10.30am and 5.30-6pm. Because of your cycles it's possible you haven't ovulated yet, this month I ovulated at cd19. Hope this helps!

Hoping for some words of wisdom in here...!

Came off the pill in Feb and had my withdrawal bleed normally. Periods came back each month, but my cycle is on average of 32 days - some are 25 and some as high as 38. My last two are 34 days and 35 days...

Currently on cycle day 21 and my app predicted ovulation last Friday. I bought the OPK strips on Amazon last month and started using them this month from cycle day 12 but so far I haven’t sent any signs of ovulation with them - I am testing at 8pm at night.

Could it be that I haven’t ovulated yet? Especially if my cycle will last another 34/35 days? I did a test just now as I downloaded the Femometer app and it is showing as negative - LH:0 low.

I don’t know if I have missed my ovulation window or not.

When is the best time of day to use these OPKs? I read evening time so have been taking them at 8pm.

I’m not really sure what I am doing tbh. Maybe I just start again next month using OPKs and the Femometer app and testinf every day after my period ends. :/

@Katie1109 If your peak was last night you would ovulate today Hun 😊. But dtd 2-3 days before Ovulation your still in with a chance. The swimmers will be there waiting 😍

Well my peak is over, I must have ovulated last night at some point because LH is back down to high on my opk just now x so officially 1 DPO today and at due between 10-12 of November x if last DTD Sunday about 11pm so if I ovulated yesterday evening it would be around 48 hours since DTD, so I’m not very hopeful x

Was totally convinced yesterday that I was pregnant. Been having weird, vivid dreams and have a sore coccyx for no reason, which apparently can be an early sign of pregnancy. Had such a vivid dream last night that I took 3 tests and they were all positive so took a First Response test this morning, 2 days before AF due to arrive... BFN. So disappointed 😢

How is everyone else doing?

@claireb707 Damn ic!! What one did you use? Google clear and simple pregnancy tests their really good and retest in a few days 😊
