@Gigi318 I'm good, continuing to snail through my TWW 😆 Just read an article that basically confirmed how useless symptom spotting is, the progesterone can make you feel pregnant all the way up to 10 DPO apparently. After that the body stops producing it so whether the symptoms stop then or go on is a good indicator - makes total sense as that's exactly what happened for me last cycle. 9 DPO now so suppose I will know soon! How are you?

Gigi318 · 01/10/2019 08:20

@Raizelrea hehehe that is so true! It's so miserable out, roll on the weekend. CD8 now, so keeping my eye out for changes in CM. Nothing yesterday, but hopefully we'll start getting watery soon!

@claireb707 it's a good thing that there's no sign of AF. Some people don't get a BFP until well after AF was due. A week or more. So unless AF shows, remember you're still in the game 👌🏻

How is everyone today? 💖

claireb707 · 01/10/2019 08:05

Nope no signs 😢

Raizelrea · 01/10/2019 08:00

@claireb707 Sorry about the BFN! Any signs of AF? Try to make the most of your hol and don't focus on it too much if you can (I know easier said than done!)

Raizelrea · 01/10/2019 07:52

@flossy12 Your first trimester is flying by, hopefully you'll get your appetite back soon!

@Gigi318 Was just thinking this miserable weather is ideal for your fertile week - the only thing you can do when it's this awful outside is stay at home and be in bed 😆

claireb707 · 01/10/2019 07:43

Another negative test today 😢

Gigi318 · 01/10/2019 07:08

@flossy12 that's good chick. I don't think you're meant to put much on in the first trimester anyway, so I'm sure you'll make up for it in the second and third 🙊 you sound small anyway so I doubt you'd get massive chick don't worry. I'm quite slim so imagine I'd be all bump. But mind you, I do like my food 😏 so who knows 🤣
Hehehe well babe, I'm aiming to follow in your footsteps and just have at it.... old school method should work right 🙊👌🏻

flossy12 · 01/10/2019 00:39

@Gigi318 yeah hope so! Not that I wanna be huge but want to make sure baba is doing ok, also always run a low blood pressure but saw today when the midwife did it it was 95/58 which is quite low 😬 need to try and stomach as much fluid as I can!

@Raizelrea @Gigi318 I could have just gotten lucky 😅😅 but defo DTD more that month than any of the previous

Gigi318 · 30/09/2019 20:17

@Raizelrea oh hahaha woops, @flossy12 I though you did DTD lots and then you said it wasn't much 🤣 but what Rai is saying makes waaaay more sense! I am going to aim for lots too and then I feel like it must work 🤷‍♀️🤣🙊👌🏻

Raizelrea · 30/09/2019 18:02

Hi @AtouchofFremchy I'm in a similar place in the cycle as you - 8 DPO today. I have had some "symptoms" but last cycle I seemed to have every single symptom under the sun and was not pregnant so I think they don't mean much! Sorry to heat about your MC and hope you get your rainbow baby soon!

@Gigi318 Haha I wouldn't say that @flossy12 didn't DTD much, I think they did pretty much every day in FW from what I remeber from the September bus, and 3 times on peak day 😆 I think she just said she didn't DTD after ovulation, but at that point it doesn't really matter of course ☺️

Gigi318 · 30/09/2019 17:28

@flossy12 that's so exciting. Eeek time is flying by. Almost out of the third trimester. Hoping you can keep some carbs down and get some weight back on you babe!

flossy12 · 30/09/2019 16:53

@Gigi318 yeah times going to fly till then! There taking my due date as the 14th aswell so until my 12 week scan I'm classed as 7+4

claireb707 · 30/09/2019 16:47

Not a sausage... 🤞

Gigi318 · 30/09/2019 16:44

@flossy12 yayyy how exciting chick! Everything's getting itself going now. Yay! I bet you cannot wait to get the letter. It might be nice if you got it when you got back from holiday as then it'll feel closer 👌🏻

@claireb707 oh babe, I know the feeling. I've been sleeping from 9pm-7am+ 😳 which is completely out of character for me. If I hadn't of bleed last week I would of sworn I was PG. I even keep doubting that was even AF 🙈 who knows, it could be a good sign for you. Any sign of AF?

claireb707 · 30/09/2019 16:15

I'll say something though, I'm normally a 6 hours sleep a night kinda girl, last 2 nights I've been approaching 8 hours and I'm now feeling absolutely shattered like I could fall asleep. It is warm here 28-30 which could be assisting but this ain't normal for me

flossy12 · 30/09/2019 16:00

Had my booking appointment 😁 everything went fine, they couldn't get through to clinic so booking me a scan and sending it through the post ☺️

Sickness hasn't been to bad today but have lost 1kg in like 3/4 weeks as was 59 now I'm 58 but they said not to worry

Gigi318 · 30/09/2019 15:23

@claireb707 ah yes, I remember you saying! That's good, so your cycles aren't super long, which is good! Although it could mean you are late now based on that? So hard when the cycle is regulating. Hope you can relax and enjoy the hol still. And at least you have the tests at the ready too. Woohoo!!

@AtouchofFrenchy well, in theory, you only need to DTD once to get PG. If it's timed right! And I personally think you can do it too much. Although @flossy12 said she didn't DTD much and got her BFP (although she did DTD 3 times in one day, so that could be why haha). It's hard. This month, I'm aiming for every other day and then everyday when I think I'm in my FW! If I can. We shall see, as my OH will be away a bit!

AtouchofFrenchy · 30/09/2019 14:35

@Gigi318. I am fine, trying to get occupied with work in order to not spend 100% of my time auto-analyzing myself.. :) I think it is great to have this forum as it helps to empty your mind writing about your daily situation and hearing about all your similar experience ladies.

This is excellent news for the ladies who got the BFP and really look forward to hearing from them about their early symptoms.. Also, I have another question in mind.. During your fertility period do you try to DTD everyday or every 2/3 days? My hubby has a lot of business trips and quite difficult to be on schedule for DTD. Also he is quite stress and tired with work.. For example this cycle, only managed to DTD once (the day before ovulation). I have very low expectation of being pregnant as heard you need to DTD quite often during fertility period to make it work... Any other in similar case and managed to get BFP?

claireb707 · 30/09/2019 14:13

Had withdrawal bleed 2 days after coming off mid August then first period was 6th -9th September

Gigi318 · 30/09/2019 14:09

@claireb707 that's good chick, your body is just adjusting perhaps and you'll get used to your cycles soon if not already! Did you get a period right away? As that bleed would be CD1 - or did you have a gap? Just wondering if you have had a 6 week cycle ☺️😘

@AtouchofFrenchy welcome! How are you? Don't worry, I think lots of us worry and obsess a little. We have some with MCs in our thread too. So far, we have 2 ladies with BFP (I think, soz if I missed someone)! And I don't think their symptoms were big. Again, I may be wrong. The best advice I can give you is to try and relax and distract yourself when in the TWW as it's not helping you at all, lovely lady. But that's what we are here for!

Gigi318 · 30/09/2019 14:01

@Hewie30 thank you chick, I feel like I didn't actually give it a shot last month and although this is cycle 2, it's kind of the first proper month giving it a go. So 🤞🏻
Yes with you on that, not a fan of antibiotics so let's hope it passes soon! Glad AF isn't giving you much bother. I thought mine was odd too, but that was probably me just paying it more attention. It could of been normal. Who knows 🤣🙊
Oh definitely, I don't think you sound stress either. But there really is that thing when people stop actively TTC it happens. Maybe all the constant planning just takes over and gets in the way? I've known of so many women who even go to do IVF (or have done a few rounds and take a break) and then fall PG when they're 'not trying'. It's amazing what the body can do! So I honestly think this is a good thing for you. Just enjoy the month and see what happens. If nothing else, you'll have fun 🙊🙌🏻👌🏻
Oh, and I will be SURE to rub my positivity off on you hehehe 💫

AtouchofFrenchy · 30/09/2019 13:57

Hello ladies,

I would love to join the thread as it is soo long to wait alone and it is driving me nuts..! AF are planned for 8th October.

I am 9 days DPO (days post ovulation) and so far no symptom at all... I am wondering if some of you had 0 symptom at this stage and finally find out they were pregnant?

First time I tried to conceive was March and became pregnant straight away with symptom at 6 days DPO (days post ovulation) (lot of watery discharge, headache, tend breast, metallic taste in mouth, weeing more often..). Miscarriage at 7 weeks, since then I have tried 3 months and now in my 4 cycle trying..

It is becoming an obsession that I cant take out of my mind. And even worse when friends and family tell you that more you think about it less it will happen.. it makes me stress that I will never manage to relax and get pregnant again.. wondering if some of you were constantly thinking about it and managed to get pregnant?

Thanks a lot ladies for all your support!! xx

claireb707 · 30/09/2019 13:46

And I have 2 cheapy and 2 frer with me in case

claireb707 · 30/09/2019 13:46

To be honest I don't know, been on pill for 4 years and came off 6 weeks ago so this is my first proper cycle.
I don't feel anything at the moment, definitely not like I'm due on so who knows

Opk tests definitely said peak was day 10

Hewie30 · 30/09/2019 13:31

@Gigi318 That's great your feeling positive and upbeat about your window this month 😊. Fingers crossed it's your month 🤞🤞. Yeah it should hopefully go, if not I'll grab some antibiotics but don't ideally want them if I don't have too. Yeah AF is okay! The oddest one I've had but I'm glad it's here rather then waiting and wondering what's going on. Haha! Hopefully it'll help, although I don't feel stressed at all maybe i am and don't know it 🤷. I hope your positive attitude will rub off on me but I'm not feeling positive due to not actively trying anymore, but we'll see!
