@Gigi318 eeeek, not long now then 🙊 about when my fertile window is coming up! You're not an early tester are you? I haven't been, which I'm glad because I get so obsessed with things 🤣 it would make me worse!! I'm good thanks babe, bit gutted I'm onto cycle 8, honestly thought naively it would happen straight away (although we half assed it a few months!) Both my sisters fell within the first few months of their pregnancies 🙄 got my sisters wedding next year abroad so it's not really ideal to get pregnant now, but refuse to put life on hold haha. But think we may take a little break depending on the docs Friday and begin again in the new year 😊 I feel like there's no rush, but also since trying I've wanted it so badly!? 🙈 Is this your second cycle? Xx

Gigi318 · 16/10/2019 09:50

@Izzie94 awwww babe thank you! Yes I am in like 5-6 I think 🙊🙊🙊 I just try to be positive as I can't bear to think the worst. Let's hope this stiff neck is a positive thing. Only 6 days to go now. Eeeekkk it's scary isn't it! How are you feeling? Xx

Izzie94 · 16/10/2019 09:36

@Katie1109 I'm with @Gigi318 on this one hun, definitely do a test. It'll put your mind at ease ❤️ I've had a couple of friends who've had exactly the same and gone on to have healthy pregnancies. I tested too but I think for me it's now my second AF which has been so light so think it's something else 😪 damn pill!!! Wish I never went on it lol. Although I have heard a couple of ladies on these posts ttc for nearly a year, go back on contraceptive to kick start their hormones again and have been pregnant with a few months after they come off again 😅

Ps @Gigi318 I've read your posts on a few threads and your positivity keeps me going girllll hahaha, keeping my fingers crossed its your month!! When's AF due? X

Gigi318 · 16/10/2019 08:34

@Katie1109 babe I think you should test because I was really sure you would get a BFP this month. And some women do get period like bleeds throughout pregnancy (no matter what it says on Google) and I've seen some say they had red blood for days and went on to have a healthy pregnancy. It can't hurt to test, to put your mind at ease?

I am shattered today. Did not sleep well at all and have an awful stiff neck. Not sure if its TTC related. Started around 5/6DPO and I'm 8DPO today. Random symptom (and the only real one I have) if I am PG 😂 still have the odd twinge here and there but nothing major.

How are we all today? 💖

Katie1109 · 16/10/2019 07:14

@Izzie94 hi there ! Thank you for your post. I'm glad I'm not the only one :( Yes please, keep me posted on what your doctors said!
Well ladies, my "period" seems to have finished. Tiny bit of blood on the tampon overnight and nothing since, I've got no idea what the hell is going on to be fair :( Do you think I should test just in case it was my body trying to have period? Could I still be pregnant? It lasted about 48 hours and was very light. The only thing that makes me think that is those pelvic pains about 6/7 DPO which I have never experienced before, which I thought might have been IB. Oh dear, I'm so confused. Opinions?
How is everyone else?

@Katie1109 Hi hun, just saw your post about light AF. Just wanted to say you're not alone, I'm now month 8 off the pill and on my third super light AF. They started being 4days ish, then 3, now down to 2 and still light 😪 spotting a few days after. I've got a docs apt Friday so will keep you posted! Not sure they'll do much as its not quite been a year yet, but hopefully some reassurance 😊 x

Gigi318 · 15/10/2019 11:12

@claireb707 buttttt if it is, at least you've DTD to cover yourself!? Maybe it was from DTD itself??

Ladies, I am now craving grease!!!! Probably because I am tired 🤣🙈 but I really would love a cafe style full English 🙊 and I generally hate greasy food/breakfasts/greasy spoons 👀👀👀

claireb707 · 15/10/2019 10:11

I've had very light pink spotting over night (after dtd) hoping it's not ovulation as I'm only cd8

Gigi318 · 15/10/2019 08:43

@Katie1109 babe it could be that your cycle is regulating. As it's only been 5 months and your period does change when you come of BC, doesn't it. May just be a nice new, light AF for you. But definitely speak to a doc if you're worried! Yesss, half way through now. Flo says AF due 23rd (so a week tomorrow). I'm going to test either next Tuesday 22nd or the 23rd at either 14DPO or 15, depending how I feel 🙌🏻👏🏻

Katie1109 · 15/10/2019 08:30

@falkor32 thank you for your response x I know, I'm probably worried for nothing, it's just the fact that it's my 2nd af like that x
@Gigi318 I came off the pill end of May, so this will be beginning of cycle 6 for me. My af is not normally heavy as such, but definitely not this light x I haven't even filled a tampon overnight x all other symptoms have almost disappeared, boobs are not heavy anymore, but still tiny bit sore when I press them x half way through TWW for you, how exciting, it flies by! when is your af due? x

@Katie1109 morning my love, how are you? I'm 7DPO today, half way through. Ish! Feels like quite the milestone today 😂🙌🏻 do you usually have quite light AFs? All I can say is that stress (even if you don't think you're stressed) can really change your cycle. Mine last month was heavy (for me - barely filling a mini tampon in 6 hours) on day one and excruciating pain, then very light for two more days. Maybe its your body changing?? What cycle are you now chick??

falkor32 · 15/10/2019 07:49

Morning @Katie1109. Try not to worry, I had a very similar experience to you with my cycle just gone. Thought I had implantation bleeding but started AF a day or so later but my AF was very light and unusual - I wore the thinnest pad and pantyliners and never filled a pad overnight. Flow was pink, light brown and only one day of red but not much - I did have cramping too the first day. I also thought I was pregnant that cycle and took a ton of tests all BFN. I concluded that although it was a strange AF it was AF and was probably the way it was as I’d stressed myself out completely. Perhaps wait a few days and see what happens, I know it’s hard but try not to worry too much Smile it’ll settle down x

Katie1109 · 15/10/2019 07:12

Morning ladies, how are we all doing? I see few of you are waiting for O day, so happy DTD! x @Gigi318 how many DPO are you now?
I’m a bit worried, this is second af in a row which is very light bleeding, I could get away with panty liner but worried about leaks when I’m at work x don’t know whether it’s a sign something is not right down there :( it’s quite painful, a lot of cramps but not a lot of blood at all :( I am taking pregnacare for few months now, so maybe it’s that? x

@Makeafamily19 me too. I always seem to be affected by grey days, SAD hits me hard. Such a shame! That will all helps. I usually love running, but I'm a fair weather runner so not doing an awful lot at the moment 🙃 oh good on you. I'm less of a planner in that sense - I actually hate doing things like that, I find it so stressful 🙈😂 but I just need to know everything in my own schedule etc. I'm a nightmare!! It sounds fun though. When OH proposes, I know who to call for help 😉

Makeafamily19 · 14/10/2019 21:35

@Gigi318 I'm good thanks, wish the weather was better. I am trying to increase my water intake and need to start walking the dog more after work! How was your Monday?
Omg I am such a planner, I just NEED something to do haha. I don't know what to do with myself now the wedding planning is over. It's my grandparents 60th anniversary in April so I've decided I'm planning it 🤣 it's gonna be like a mini wedding at this rate.

@falkor32 yes it's better to DTD 1-5 days before you ovulate as you want those bad boys waiting for their egg! If you follow the SMEP method it suggests every other day starting from day 8, then when you get a static smiley/peak OPK you do 3 times in a row, then have a rest day, then once again. However that can be quite full on and a bit too much pressure if DH struggles sometimes. I've done this the last 2 months, not that it's worked yet!

claireb707 · 14/10/2019 21:12

I'm,hoping my peak isn't this weekend as we're at my parents for the weekend 😂😂 🙈🙉

falkor32 · 14/10/2019 21:07

@Makeafamily19 also hoping for my peak over the weekend 🙊 too! Also with you on the control/planning aspect I’ve got about 3 apps on the go and also considering getting a BBT but I don’t know if that’ll just feed my control in a detrimental way!

Gigi318 · 14/10/2019 21:06

@claireb707 oh isn't it just!!! The only thing that consoles me is knowing that if I can be as relaxed as possible, it will help. So I'm just going with it 🤷‍♀️🙈 lord knows it if will work!

@falkor32 it's okay, I don't think any of us mind the TMI - it's all part of it. Don't worry, I think before O day is better than on or after, just because you'll have swimmers waiting around. Or so they say. But don't quote me. We did three days before, as in a row! So I hope we got it! OH was away on my O day (according to Flo, I don't use OPKs) so we shall see 💖 if it is, is it!

falkor32 · 14/10/2019 21:00

@Gigi318 thanks - I don’t think we’ve managed to dtd on the day I ovulate, closest we’ve managed is the day before a static smiley on CB digital.

I’ve got an added issue as hubby unfortunately finds it difficult to finish (not sure how else to put that nicely). I try my hardest not to put pressure on him by wanting to dtd every other day which is optimum I think? I don’t think this will work out favourably if we dtd on the peak day only?

I’m a bit stressed, as much as I try not be, I really feel like it’s an impossible task - there’s so many factors that have to be exactly right and I have so little control over it 😩 ...

claireb707 · 14/10/2019 20:58

I'm a massive planner too, hate feeling out of control, which is why this is ultra hard 😂😂

Gigi318 · 14/10/2019 20:55

@claireb707 hahaha, it can feel like a chore sometimes but this month we just relaxed and it was really fun actually 🙌🏻 and I find the more we do it, my sex drive increases too so it's a win win!!

@Makeafamily19 chick, you are speaking to the biggest planner and control freak ever. I am terrible. I just NEED TO KNOW plans and everything for anything 🤣🤣🤣 but I've come to realise that there are things out of my control, so I don't worry so much as worrying doesn't change the outcome it just makes you poorly 🥰 and also, I'm just so positive so aim to see the good in everything if I can. It helps. We've got this chick, it will happen for us when it's meant to. How are you??

Makeafamily19 · 14/10/2019 20:48

@falkor32 it's so annoying when your body messes with you! I bet having an odd long cycle really messes with your mind especially when symptom spotting like mad! I normally have a 25 day cycle and it was 23 last month. I wish I could be really chill about it all but I have a planner/control freak personality haha. I need to be more like @Gigi318 🤣
I'm going to start my CBs tomorrow, I normally get a peak CD10ish which should fall on the weekend 🙌🏼

claireb707 · 14/10/2019 20:41

Other than starting to dtd a lot, feel ok, no symptoms of anything at all

Gigi318 · 14/10/2019 20:35

@claireb707 all is looking good chick, I love a renovation so much 🙌🏻👏🏻 yes I really hope it's later than day 10 for you too!! How are you feeling??

@falkor32 you're welcome chick! Urgh tell me about it - a lot to think about. Although I do think it's best to try and relax as much as possible. DTD as much as you can and enjoy it 🙌🏻 it's the approach I've taken this month and feel much better for it. And don't worry, we all symptom spot even though we say we won't 🙈 I was convinced last month, but got a BFN and AF arrived. This month I'm doing my best not to symptom spot but it's hard, when you feel the odd cramp and your boobs hurt 🙃🙃🙃

falkor32 · 14/10/2019 19:32

Hi @Makeafamily19

I normally ovulate around day 12/13 and my cycles are on average 26 days but last month was an anomaly - didn’t ovulate until day 16 and AF arrived around CD29/30 ... I’m really hoping this month goes back to normal. Last month I was a bit stupid a symptom spotted plus I also get anxious/stressed quite easily so this TTC is a real test 😬
