I can't seem to find anyone on the same timing - any ladies expecting AF early October?

I'm only 1 DPO with AF due 6 October, anybody else just starting their TWW to buddy up with?

This is going to be the longest week ever, I really really want to test but know it's a stupid idea, let's power through together!

Mrsw1992 · 29/09/2019 21:26

Hi all, had a great weekend away but was asked if I’m pregnant because I wasn’t drinking (voice in my head said “I hope so!”)...

One week to go until predicted AF ⏱ we got this!!

Raizelrea · 29/09/2019 13:56

@imnewtothis I've had it since ovulation haha, I think it's just how my luteal phase is. Last cycle it went away at around 10 or 11 DPO so we'll see how things go.

OP posts:
imnewtothis · 29/09/2019 12:28

@raizelrea I know it's crazy to think that fingers crossed its happened/happening, I hope your nausea is a good sign I usually get it a week before af :/

Raizelrea · 29/09/2019 09:58

@imnewtothis Halfway through the TWW woo! That's pretty promising about your boobs. And now at 7 DPO the potential baby could have implanted, how exciting to think about.

I just had a coffee and am bloody nauseous again, I swear I never had this before TTC - maybe I should get it checked out in case it's something else 😕 Nothing new to report on my end, same old of feeling tired and blah, guess the weather's not helping!

@HayleyD84 I wouldn't worry! The egg is only meant to last 12-24 hours once you ovulate anyway, so I don't think the day after ovulation can do much - I think it's more to cover bases in case you ovulate later. But really the day before ovulation is meant to be the highest chance. We also only DTD the day of peak (well, leading up to that as well obvs, about every other day) and the day after which I assume was the day of ovulation, nothing after because I got cystitis and didn't want to make it worse!

OP posts:
HayleyD84 · 28/09/2019 18:36

@Raizelrea I didn't manage to DTD the day after ovulation, so didn't stick to SMEP like I wanted too.

Hope we did enough Sad

Hey all, can I join, I'm 3dpo so just started tww.

AF due 7th Oct.

imnewtothis · 28/09/2019 13:21

How is everyone doing today? My boobs are still so sore and seem to have ballooned, and I have such a headache today

Raizelrea · 28/09/2019 11:00

@smiletillyoumakeit Yeah I think that may be a bit early even with a FRER - I'm the same DPO as you and planning to test next Saturday (at 13 DPO) with FRER since I have a huge stock still, went a little overboard last cycle lol.

@MrssC92 Welcome, hope you have a smooth TWW! I know the feeling of testing before a night of drinking, it's hard not to do even when you're still early, just for that bit of reassurance!

OP posts:
MrssC92 · 28/09/2019 10:15

Hi ladies, can I join?
I'm 3dpo and due on the 10th October. Ill be testing on the 5th October though because I'm out that night so need to know if it's safe to drink (or hopefully not)

smiletillyoumakeit · 28/09/2019 09:52

@Raizelrea thank you! Smileit feels like it's dragging! I'm trying not to obsess over every little symptom but I can't help it. I don't feel hopeful this month. I think I'm just suffering PMS. I ordered 2 frer tests which should be here on Monday & then it'll be 7 days until my predicted period date but think that might be too early to test still. I'll be 8/9dpo. How are you doing?x

Raizelrea · 28/09/2019 09:22

@rosie990 Sounds like a lovely weekend! I've got some errands to do today and then we're meeting friends for dinner. I think I will test in a week's time, so at 13 DPO. Don't think I could really wait any longer! And if it's negative it will give me a couple of days to shake it off till my birthday! Only a few days left for you eek!

@smiletillyoumakeit Welcome aborad! How has your TWW been going so far? Almost halfway through!

@Rhubarbe Nice, I'm jealous you're that far into the TWW, it's been dragging (well somehow it's simulataneously flown but dragged somehow!). When are you thinking of testing?

OP posts:
Rhubarbe · 27/09/2019 19:42

@Raizelrea I’m 10dpo. Cycle is usually 31 days but I ovulated late so not totally sure when AF due.
Fingers crossed everyone!

smiletillyoumakeit · 27/09/2019 18:59

Hi everyone,
I am also on 5dpo, cd20 & predicted period 7th October according to Flo app :)x

rosie990 · 27/09/2019 18:43

@raizelea I am child free this weekend so maybe a date night planned. Hopefully to keep my mind off it.

How about you? When are you likely to test? Before p due or after?

I have the one step tests but heard bad things so I am trying to stay away.

Raizelrea · 27/09/2019 16:58

@Rhian1991 My honest advice would be not to look for any symptoms as they can be misleading - plus when you are trying to see if you have any you just get too hyperfocused on them. Early symptoms for pregnancy are so similar to pre AF symptoms so it's really just adding unnecesary anxiety if you symptom-spot.

Now please repeat this to me next week 😆

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 27/09/2019 16:56

@rosie990 Could be a good sign for sure! Not long left to wait at least, do you have any nice weekend distractions planned?

@imnewtothis Promising! I know what you mean, I feel like last cycle I had every symptom under the sun so trying not to pay too much attention to them now. I have been getting waves of nausea but apparently that's just normal for me in the luteal phase - can't believe I've never noticed till TTC

@Rhubarbe Well done! How many DPO are you at the minute? Hope cycle 5 is a lucky one for you!

OP posts:
Rhian1991 · 27/09/2019 11:59

Hi ladies,

I'm also in the TWW stage and its driving me mad. I'm due AF on the 4th October.

I'm 7dpo today. Any symptoms I should be looking out for? I had a sharp pain through my left breast this morning.

Rhubarbe · 27/09/2019 09:48

Can I join? AF due 4th Oct, trying for 5 months for number 1.
Managing not to symptom spot so far...

imnewtothis · 27/09/2019 08:50

@raizelrea 5dpo here to, my boobs have been getting more sore by the day and usually before af they only get sore a maximum of a week before so definitely not from 1dpo, other than that any other symtom I get I'm trying to just brush under the carpet so I don't get too hopeful 😂

rosie990 · 27/09/2019 08:42

Thank you @raizelea

I think I am just being impatient. I just feel different. I haven't had PMS since before my son so to have cramps and bloating etc it isnt usual for me

Raizelrea · 27/09/2019 08:29

@rosie990 Of course you can! Not long left of your TWW then!! Yeah I think 9 DPO is quite rare for a BFP even if you are pregnant, try to hold off till at least 13 DPO. You'll still be one of the early testers on this thread I think so we'll cheer you on ☺️

OP posts:
rosie990 · 27/09/2019 08:17

Can I join?

I think I am 9 or 10dpo today with my period due anywhere from Saturday to tuesday. (Usually 32 days but ovulated late on cd20)

I tested today and it was negative. Am I testing to early because ovulation was late?

Feel so crampy which isnt normal for me if I am honest

Raizelrea · 27/09/2019 07:14

How's everyone getting on? I'm at 5 DPO now, which has both dragged and flown somehow. I feel exhausted but I think that's still the flu jab. Definitely happy it's almost the weekend.

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 25/09/2019 07:53

@imnewtothis Work's been quite busy so it's been going quickly in a sense, though at the same time I can't believe I'm only 3DPO! So I know what you mean...

I feel fairly normal to be honest. This cycle and the previous one have taught me that I get nausea around ovulation which has now gone but I wouldn't be surprised if it crops up again - it's just a part of my luteal phase I think (suppose it's a good thing because it means my progesterone does rise like it's supposed to). The blah feeling from the flu jab is starting to go away now too yay. Interesting about your breasts - though I try not to read too much into symptoms, especially ones before implantation. I guess the first half of the TWW is nice in that way as you can justify that you can't quite be feeling anything pregnancy related just yet. It's the second week when I go nuts haha
