I thought I'd start a new thread as the other one is full. Sorry if I've missed anyone out.

@queenqueenqueen I just started 50 a few days ago so don't know my levels yet. Did they say when they will retest?

@FlapJackered what bothers me the most is the new mothers are so smug, like in that YouTube video. "oh babies don't do this, oh this hasn't developed yet". Thanks, but I wasn't even talking to you.

FlapJackered · 11/12/2019 22:39

Thanks everyone ❤️, I feel very lucky to have you ladies here or I think I would feel so alone with it all.
@RosettaR mostly they are really supportive and know that we are struggling, which really helps.

Good luck for this last cycle! It's the same for me and due to ovulate next week. Fingers crossed we both get pregnant and we get to spend our money on something much more fun!!
Have you got your meds yet?
@KatBeCool I know what you mean about holding babies. I feel this stab in my stomach wondering if it will ever be my baby.

@starkid I am cd11 so due to ovulate next week. Last one before ivf so I have got to make it count! Good luck for the long tww! 🤞🏻

We are off to our last consultation before the ivf tomorrow 😬 They are going to teach us how to do the injections and book us in.

queenqueenqueen · 11/12/2019 22:00

Yeah I've been upped to 50mg today, annoying it wasn't sooner
What are your levels now?

KatBeCool · 11/12/2019 21:40

@queenqueenqueen now I'm on 50mg. I'm surprised they haven't upped your dose. My Dr retested me after only 6 weeks once I had the prescribed initially to make sure it works, and retesting again in a month.

queenqueenqueen · 11/12/2019 21:26

Just found out today that after 10 weeks on 25mg of levothyroxine my TSH is still 11 😭😭 seems so high! I'm gutted

starkid · 11/12/2019 19:22

@FlapJackered - vent away, I'm sure most of us feel the same, I definitely do. I'm avoiding hanging out with DH's friends as one is heavily pregnant (first month trying etc, you know...) and it makes me depressed.

Where is everyone in their cycles currently then?
I'm 4dpo I think, so the annoying time when past the fertile period but not long enough for the hope from symptom spotting...

queenqueenqueen · 11/12/2019 14:10

@katbecool what dose are you on?

RosettaR · 11/12/2019 08:37

Just realised my positive opk means af is now due on Christmas day. You really couldn't make this stuff up!

RosettaR · 11/12/2019 08:34

@KatBeCool I definitely find the same. I don't have too many babies in my family but when I hear another person at work is going on maternity leave, or someone else brings their baby in, all I really feel is upset at how unfair life is. I know that's horrible but it's how I feel. I try to tell myself that you don't know what they might have been through to get to that point, you can't assume it's been easy for them, but still.

I got a positive opk this morning, a few days late. And I have stopped bleeding, so it looks like we will get one last month ttc naturally before ivf.

Lina365 · 10/12/2019 11:11

Sorry to hear you've been upset @FlapJackered. It's good that you can vent here. We understand 100%.
@RosettaR glad your operation was on. Let us know how you get on with the next steps.

KatBeCool · 10/12/2019 06:07

@FlapJackered I am definitely finding it hard to be happy for other people with their new babies. Especially family as we interact more frequently. I want to hold all their babies and yet at the same time I feel incredible pain on the inside.

RosettaR · 09/12/2019 11:55

@KatBeCool That's annoying about your tsh. I hate how ttc forces us to look at our bodies under a microscope like this. Tsh of 3.1 wouldn't even get remarked on if you weren't ttc, it would be well within the normal range.

@Mrs71 yes I'm still doing acupuncture. I'm not sure if it actually does anything but I will keep trying! Something made my follicle count improve so I am just going to keep on with everything I'm doing! Are you still enjoying it?

@FlapJackered I'm so sorry you're feeling like that. Don't be hard on yourself, it sounds like a really tough situation to deal with and I'm sure many of us would have reacted the same way. Can you talk to any of them about it?

FlapJackered · 07/12/2019 23:19

Oh gawd, I just burst into tears at a friend's wedding. All my friends who were due around the same time as I was were there with their babies and I just got totally overwhelmed and burst into tears. I am so embarrassed. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I just want this crap to be over with now. I am so fed up for feeling sorry for myself and for not being able to be fully happy for other people. It sucks.

@KatBeCool sorry to hear the TSH was high again, that happened to me. At least they are on it with the medication.

@RosettaR that sounds really positive! Great they managed to remove the polyp.

Mrs71 · 07/12/2019 12:32

Hi everyone! Just been catching up on the thread @starkid @KatBeCool cd 16 for me today too! I got my letter through the post for my appointment with gynaecologist. I don't have a date yet they're going to contact me with a date but least they referral has gone through. I not really sure what to expect next.

@RosettaR glad the operation went well. Good luck with the ivf. Are you still doing accunpuncture?

@FlapJackered sorry af arrived for you! You never know you could get your BFP in your next cycle.

KatBeCool · 07/12/2019 07:02

@starkid she didn't really say anything. Just doubled the dose. That's pretty much all you do.

@RosettaR great to hear you're doing well after the op!

starkid · 06/12/2019 23:31

@KatBeCool what did the docs say about it?

KatBeCool · 06/12/2019 21:40

@starkid that looks positive! One day behind is close enough.

Just got the results for my bloods... TSH is now 3.1. So they doubled my medicine. How??!! It was great just two months ago. Just as I thinking earlier today, what can possibly get worse. My stupid body, of course.

starkid · 06/12/2019 20:43

@RosettaR - glad to hear your operation went well and nothing else found during it. Good luck with the IVF xx

RosettaR · 06/12/2019 20:35

I had my hysteroscopy on Thursday, it was smooth and the polyp was found and removed, and nothing else untoward was found. The general anaesthetic has knocked me back a bit though!

I will most likely start ivf with my next cycle, but will be on long protocol so that means egg collection in February. @FlapJackered I am 100% with you on playing an expensive lottery, that's exactly what this feels like.

Not sure if we will be able to try this month as I'm not meant to dtd until the bleeding has stopped, and I'll probably ovulate in 3-4 days. So that might be it for trying naturally before ivf, which is sad.

starkid · 06/12/2019 20:32

Never mind todays is definitely positive, I'm a day behind you @katbecool. Let's chuck an opk picture on here, not had one in a while

TTC first baby 1 year + thread 2
starkid · 05/12/2019 21:13

@KatBeCool - I think it was a positive one earlier on. The last one wasn't positive though. Will test again tomorrow but am saying a positive today for now. Hooray for ovulation twins Grin

KatBeCool · 05/12/2019 20:57

CD13, got positive OPK. All the hopes are up as usual.

@starkid catch up! We can be twins again.

How's everyone doing?

starkid · 05/12/2019 14:51

@ValidUser - glad you now know the score, and have everything in place for the next step xx
@zoomies1 - good luck with your results from the lab!

Finally getting something close to a positive opk, was worried would be another cycle without a positive and therefore not knowing when to expect AF.

zoomies1 · 05/12/2019 09:17

@ValidUser

I really hope that's it for you now and everything runs smoothly.

ValidUser · 04/12/2019 20:10

Hello everyone! Confirmed antiphospholipid syndrome today. Will be on innohep for my full ivf cycle. It's actually a relief in a way!

We have a reason for my chemical pregnancies and a way to make ivf work.
