First cycle trying, 3 days post ovulation.
How do you all cope with the TWW? My best friend rang me today to tell me she is pregnant with her second so it's almost to good to be true that it's worked for me first time 🤞🏻
I'll be testing next Sunday, want to wait the full 2 weeks incase of chemical pregnancy.

@Marlieandme81 last month i started testing at 6dpo all the way through to AF like a crazy woman! Cost a fortune haha

Marlieandme81 · 27/09/2019 13:46

@littlevoice22 oh, I'm absolutely the same haha. Tested with a cheap Poundland one a couple of days ago and got a BFN but was only 6dpo then. Don't know what I was thinking! Smile Don't want to waste the First response (not CB as previously stated) as they're more expensive.

littlevoice22 · 27/09/2019 13:35

The first responses say they can detect from 6 days before your missed period (so 5 days before its due) but the sooner you test the less accurate they will be. The best thing is to wait until the day your AF is due but for me that is impossible as too impatient haha

omikron · 27/09/2019 13:18

*days

omikron · 27/09/2019 13:17

Blue dye tests are notoriously bad for false positives so I would wait a few more Fahd

Marlieandme81 · 27/09/2019 13:14

Advice please ladies. I am 9dpo today and bought a few of the CB Early responses this morning. When should I test? Getting very impatient! AF due on Tuesday.

omikron · 27/09/2019 13:11

*cheap tests

omikron · 27/09/2019 13:06

Hi all

I've not even bought any frer because a) I don't want to test too early because it makes me sad and b) there have been reports of them giving out false positives which is heartbreaking. I bought a load of one step sheet tests so I'm going to wait until AF is due and use one of those instead

littlevoice22 · 27/09/2019 12:58

Hello, hope you don't mind me jumping on this! TTC baby #1 this is our second cycle, now 4pdo. I told myself i wouldnt obsess symptom spotting this month but been just as bad! I imagine every little twinge or ache as being some kind of sign or symtom. The 2ww is sooo long DH doesnt get it at all, he tells me to just chill and not think about it

Nuttypea · 27/09/2019 12:37

@Lilsttc I can see a faint line!

@Chaosonthehorizon I'm also due on Thursday 3rd Oct. This is our 5th cycle ttc now, I know its not long in the grand scheme of things but finding it really hard. Trying not to symptom spot, thr only thing I've noticed different this month to all the others, is the last couple of days my left boob hurts first thing in the morning. At first I thought it was heartburn, but in all honesty I don't even know if I've ever had heartburn to know what it feels like.

Fingers crossed to everyone. @MrsSokhi will this be your first baby? Xxx

Lilsttc · 27/09/2019 10:24

I should add I did a FRER too and it's as white as white can be

Lilsttc · 27/09/2019 10:23

Hi ladies, woken up to an absolute squinter of a line, can anyone else see it? I feel like I'm going made looking at a test this much!!

MrsSokhi · 25/09/2019 10:01

@MadisonC well that I mean about pms I didn't get because I was on the pill. I just wanted to cry at everything and was so moody. Not looking forward to that again haha my poor husband.

Yeah I think your right about getting bored and completely agree about trying for years must be so hard, babies are everywhere for me at the min xx

This made me chuckle, no useful/practical advice but makes it clear we're not the only ones feeling this way, our anxieties and repetitive thoughts are perfectly normal -

All the best ladies xx

MadisonC · 25/09/2019 09:39

Thanks @MrsSokhi Smile from what I remember of our second pregnancy we conceived after the 3rd cycle and it was getting a little easier, I think I was just getting bored of it by then. I must admit I don't know how people do it for years, that must be so tough.
How are you doing now it's been a couple of days? I'm a little low today, not awful but feeling hormonal like I'm a teenager again! x

MrsSokhi · 25/09/2019 09:33

@MadisonC sorry to hear it's not your month either :(
I'm hoping to relax with this next cycle and try and not symptom spot but who knows lol

@Chaosonthehorizon welcome hope it's your month xx

Af due Monday/Tuesday and ttc 3, a few months in now and driving myself crazy!

ItAllStartedHere · 24/09/2019 21:42

I hear you @MadisonC Google can be terrible can't it. Two weeks has never felt so long. I'm a little worried that I'm due on Sunday and I don't have the same symptoms I had last month. My boobs hurt like crazy and yet this month nothing. I'm worried that my cycle is going to prove to be completely messed up still.
But wait and see I guess. Grrrr.

Keep strong ladies.

Lilsttc · 24/09/2019 20:33

Thank you. Sorry you're out.

Yeah symptom spotting is the worst, isn't it amazing how blind we are to these things have have happened to us for years every month but now we're ttc it's like omg my boobs, my cramps, my cm. I even piss myself off 😂😂

MadisonC · 24/09/2019 20:28

@Lilsttc welcome btw! I'm not sure I have any words of wisdom ... other than having this forum to share has been really helpful. For me my OH doesn't want to hear all my hormonal stuff much, not at least until a positive result comes up! x

MadisonC · 24/09/2019 20:22

AF has just arrived a bit early so I'm out this month. The horrible thing about symptom spotting is really noticing all the pms symptoms ... I was convinced last week and spent far too much time on google!

MrsSokhi · 24/09/2019 20:09

@MadisonC all good don't worry, and yeah I completely agree about getting to know your cycles. I'm not sure I want to go back on the pill to be honest I feel so much better and I swear my body shape has changed slightly.

I've never really had pms until now and oh my god, I'm so moody 😂
I was thinking the same thing about the waiting around, dreading the next one.

@Lilsttc good luck I hope it's your month xx

Hi ladies can I join?

This tww is torture, its our 3rd month ttc baby #1... I'm 35, husband is 27.

I'm on 7dpo, AF due in 8 days. Stupidly got some tests in the drawer that seem to chant my name to be used but I know it's just silly.

Sending lots of luck to everyone

MadisonC · 24/09/2019 18:47

@MrsSokhi sorry to hear it's not your month, although it seems like your level headed about it all and I agree with you and others, any chance to get to know your natural cycle better is a massive help. Sending best wishes to you.
As for me I'm still in the waiting game, I'm pretty sure it's a no this month and so if AF comes I'll kind of be relieved pms symptoms will end for a little while, it's due between Thurs & Sat as my cycle ranges from 26 - 28 days generally ... ah, I don't know about anyone else but I will never get used to this waiting game xx

MrsSokhi · 24/09/2019 11:19

@Teabisckie @ItAllStartedHere thanks but honestly I was absolutely fine about it. When I started with pms symptoms I kinda knew and it's only been 1 attempt.
Looking forward to seeing your updates on Sunday 🤞🏻 xx
