Hello Everyone, I've been reading all these old posts and new posts for about 4 months now as Ive been trying ttc.. I was feeling very alone on my journey and it is comforting to know that there are many women in the same boat and I wanted to be part of your post because I thought it would make this alot more enjoyable, currently I have 3 children all girls and i'd like my boy lol.. I am now 4dpo and dtd a day before ovulation 22nd and a day after 24th af due on 6th of november... fingers crossed and good luck to you all xx

Hi all, 33, ttc#1, cycle 1, 11dpo today, AF was early last cycle so holding out for the full two weeks before thinking about a test. Trying to stay realistic but feeling and noting every twinge!

How is everyone, any updates? I'm 4 DPO and another dreaded TWW!

@Soad23 yeah possibly! Nose bleeds and bleeding gums are signs of pregnancy? So don't rule it out just yet! Have everything crossed that AF doesn't appear! But I can imagine how frustrating it is!

@KCT93 I could have ovulated later, but surely I would have had a bfp by now. I have had zero symptoms of either. During the 2ww I had few but they all disappeared before af was due. The only thing that is unusual for me, is i have been getting nose bleeds and my gums have been bleeding whilst brushing my teeth. But that could be anything. I'm gunna wait it out to see if I missed a second period then go to the doctors. It's just frustrating as I want know.

@Lizziedu49 fingers crossed for you!! I am on CD28 and only just got my peak, so should ovulate today/tomorrow. Last month I got my peak CD23 on a 35 day cycle so looks like I may have a slightly longer cycle this time round, but hopefully resulting in a BFP! xx

@KCT93 hopefully that's me, got excited and rested 11 DPO. What day are you? Xx

@Lizziedu49 probably quite unusual, I've heard of people getting false negatives but that is usually from testing too early

Oops @KCT93 I meant unusual not unhappy lol

@Lizziedu49 I know! She had very low Iron and a few other hiccups so whether that had anything to do with it I don't know!

Wow that's mad @KCT93 I wonder how unhappy it is for ladies to not show on home tests

@Soad23 2 weeks is very late, do you think you ovulated later? It may be worth going to the doctors for a blood test if AF doesn't turn up soon, a pregnancy test doesn't always work for some people. My friend had both her pregnancies confirmed by a blood test as pregnancy tests were not showing a BFP.

Well I'm now 2 weeks late. I tested on monday and it was bfn. So I'm definitely out as It was with a frer. Just want af to arrive now! 🙄

I finally got my peak on OPK today! CD28 but a late peak is better than no peak I guess! Looks like I'm in for a longer cycle this month if no BFP, but fingers crossed!

I'm 31. TTC #1. Came off the mi I pill end of September and waiting for my first period. Opk said ovulate on Sunday so we shall see...

@aquarianaura totally agree, hold off testing for as long as you possibly can. That's what I'll be doing from now

@Lizziedu49 aw I'm so sorry to hear that! That's whats putting me off testing so early, it's so hard but I'd rather wait for missed AF before I do anything!

@Lizziedu49 ahh that's so good that your cycles seem regular! Hopefully the BFN today was just a bit too early - you may have implanted late! If not then I have my fingers crossed that next month is your month!🤞

@aquarianaura welcome! That's how I felt this month! Was convinced the symptoms were nothing haha! Got my fingers crossed you'll get your BFP soon!!!

@aquarianaura I feel your pain. I am 11 DPO and caved this morning. Only because DH was away, otherwise I wouldn't have. Needless to say, I got a BFN. Going to wait for an appearance from AF now. FRERs are too expensive

@Jurassiclover I have been using OPKs for the past 3 cycles but not this cycle 😭 only because I went away for the weekend and missed it. But my app has been 1 day off of accurate every month (confirmed by OPKs) so I feel that my cycles are reliable. I OPK'd every day since that weekend and had nothing so I'm thinking I must have ovulated whilst I was away! DTD every other day around that time

Hi all, just joining this thread as my partner and I are TTC number 1, first cycle since I got the implant out end of September. I'm going a little mad already 🙈 I'm 7DPO (I think) and had some mild cramping yesterday followed swiftly by sore nipples and hot flushes, although I feel like I'm making these symptoms up because it feels so unlikely I'd feel anything this early 😳 just want to POAS already!

@Lizziedu49 thank you! And have you been using OPK's? I totally understand feeling better for using a test, last month I felt so much better just knowing what was happening! Sending baby dust your way!

@Jurassiclover congratulation for yours!!!! I tested this morning (I'm same DPO as you) with a FRER and got a BFN. I'm feeling ok about it! Its only the first month after all. I was all over the place last night but I feel better for having POAS. I just couldn't not as I have been feeling so sick and crampy, I needed an answer. Will now just wait to see if AF arrives ☺️
