@MisssC3025 these are the ones I use constantly, also got the clear blue digitals as confirmation lol https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B001G7STT0?psc=1&ref=ppxpoppmobbbasin_title

We've been ttc 22 months. I have mild pcos (think it was more severe when I was over 30BMI) so weight loss really helped. I didn't even exercise except for the odd yoga, just did low carb and it was easier than I thought. It's the initial cravings that made it hard but I decided to make it a lifestyle and overall feel much better for it. I'm convinced being so heavy made my hormones super imbalanced and really ruined my mood.

Yes I'm on the Clomid thread on here too, as u can see I need all the support I can get haha. This testing and waiting really stresses me out !

Chanel05 · 17/09/2019 19:12

Sad typo - I've actually been ttc for 15 months.

Chanel05 · 17/09/2019 19:11

Hello 👋
I've been ttc for 13 months and I had a mmc in May. I got a positive opk this morning and I usually ovulate the day of my +opk so I dtd this morning and intend to do it again tonight before sleep 😴😂.

DaiJai1066 · 17/09/2019 19:00

Hi, We are also (I think) ttc. I had an ectopic in July which resulted in my Fallopian tube being removed so now my cycles are all messy. I’m trying not to look at ovulation days but just try and keep it fun. It’s so hard though! I know we will have done our best this month! I wish you all lots of luck and any tips for working out when I’m ovulating will very helpful 😊

imnewtothis · 17/09/2019 18:56

Hi me and DP are ttc our first, cycle 4 after a chemical but keeping everything positive, well trying to!

Lemonysherbet · 17/09/2019 18:55

Hey all,

Here to join the gang 😁

31, TTC number 1. 3rd cycle of trying (march, then a break as went to a Zika country and had to wait 3 months) then August, had a bfp, and then lost it a week later sadly, so this is the 3rd month. @bezalelle we only DTD once last month and got a bfp so it really is all it takes 😘

I'm 9dpo and due Sunday, also going on holiday Sunday. Wasnt planning on testing but obviously I've been symptom spotting like a loon and I've got lots of odd things going on, but not the same as last month so not sure what to think. I have no tests in the house on purpose!

MisssC3025 · 17/09/2019 18:53

@Hey1256

I can empathise with you! We're here to support!! Remember (I Know it's easier said than done) to stay calm and positive a relaxed body and mind I'm sure helps with TTC. I don't take my own advice but I hope writing this to others helps me out too! Smile

@Rinoa welcome!

This is all very exciting and a change of heart about having a baby and your positivity is great ! Well done on dropping the lbs! I need this motivation!

How long have you been trying to conceive? I've heard/seen clomid mentioned on many threads. How did you find out about it? Be interesting to see how you get on with it.

I completely empathise with you about smiley on ovulation tests! I've never had one! (Used them in first two months and gave up and just used cycle app) It's frustrating.. but I heard it's normal for some people to ovulate but it doesn't show on kits 🤞🏼 so trying to stay positive. Which opks are you using?

@croissantmonster hello and welcome!
I hope you receive the best news in the next few days 🤞🏼🤞🏼 but not to panic as yes you're very early on.

I remember feeling so down on 1st and 2nd month of TTC because I wasn't educated on it at all, but since I have been reading and watching so much stuff I tell myself each month that's it's fine and to stay positive! I think when it hits a year then that's when I should start to worry and get myself and my DP checked! A long way to go yet!

Smile

Hi I'm TTC and it's driving me nuts really stressing me out.

I just want to get on with my life and you can't when TTC I never thought it would be this way.

Only second cycle so early days

croissantmonster · 17/09/2019 18:11

Hi! I'm TTC, 2nd month so still early days but currently 9dpo and have felt some symptoms that could easily be AF or early pregnancy...5 more days and I'll know for sure Blush
Nice to meet everyone!

Rinoa · 17/09/2019 18:02

Hello all, ttc 1st baby, first round of Clomid & Inofolic. 1DPO or at least that's what the test guesses ! Wow never thought I'd be so happy to see a smiley on an Ovulation test!

I lost 40lbs and counting ever since we decided to give it a try. I never really wanted kids but I have made a full 360 and am 💯 about giving it my all.

MisssC3025 · 17/09/2019 17:53

Aw that's too sweet!

I bet timing it at the moment is quite tiring? My DP lived in London so we would time it too and we were just so exhausted (times he got back and all the journeying back and forth) I can imagine it's exhausting?

That's why I'm a little bummed each month when I get AF, because we're so much more relaxed now we're living together! But I guess it takes time 🤞🏼

Have you tried taking anything TTC or changed routines? I know I have to eat healthily but my goodness is it hard 😖 the more I think to eat healthily the more I eat crap 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you!! Wedding planning is (kind of) keeping my mind off symptom spotting. BlushGrin

TTC first baby, yes. I never planned on having any until I met DP two years ago. He would make such an amazing dad.

I've used OPKs for the past two cycles, and I "felt" myself ovulate this month, on Sunday morning. DTD on Sunday early afternoon. DP is living down south at the moment so we're having to time my visits to catch the fertile window.

MisssC3025 · 17/09/2019 17:41

Hiya and welcome @Bezalelle!

Firstly congratulations on your to be wedding how exciting :)

I'm very similar to you I'm around 2/3dpo. My ovulation app is struggling to work out on which day I ovulated, but on the days I had pains in one side and obvious ovulation CM we DTD!

Imagine on the one day you DTD you've managed to conceive!! That be amazing. Is this first baby?

I started symptom spotting like mad and got addicted (as was all new to me) I'm now trying to relax ish haha

Hello!

I'm 2DPO today, on Cycle 4 of ttc. I'm 38 and DP is a young buck at 29!

We're getting married in January so I'm not going to be too gutted if we don't conceive this month. We only managed to DTD once, on ovulation day.

I've symptom spotted like a madwoman the past three months. Going to try and be a bit less manic this month.
