Hello ladies 11 DPO using Asda pregnancy test with a feint line but looking at reviews people are suggest they give a false positive. Angry

Testing because I have lots of symptoms!

This mornings test is much darker than yesterday but after years of infertility and never having seen a glimmer of a line before in 9 years I'm driving myself bonkers.

Wow congratulations!! Flowers How amazing.

Reading this thread I’m now worried mine is an Evap too Confused It’s a One Step Early Detection one from Amazon. What do you guys think? I had a missed miscarriage in 2017 so hoping this is positive and a sticky bean!

SirVixofVixHall · 19/09/2019 15:56

How lovely OP !
We had friends who tried for five years, then had a baby through IVF, then twins through IVF, and then, quite unexpectedly a natural pregnancy !

LillianFullStop · 19/09/2019 15:29

Wow Congratulations!!! It's so heartwarming to see your BFP!

Lucindaa · 19/09/2019 15:23

Firstly thank you all so much, I promise I'll acknowledge everyones well wishes and messages in a later post.

I havent slept a wink last night with my DH! Pinching ourselves is this real and both of us having to take the day off because its just been overwhelming with emotions.

Since our failed IVF cycle in April it took a couple month for my cycle to get back to normal and I was emotionally drained not to mention the toll it took on my body with bloating and overall weight gain.

This month we BD 3 days in a row before my predicted ovulation. Every time after I'd lay on my back with a pillow under my bum for about 30 minutes closed my eyes and just listened to one of those instramental Youtube meditation mood music that takes you far away, and completely relaxes you.

In terms of symptoms:
Backache everyday
Lowever abdomen pains that were sometimes quite sharp
Exhausted at the point where I could have quite easily fallen asleep at my desk.
Super thirsty
Snacking in the middle of the night

So ladies dont give up, keep spreading the positivity and encouragement because without these forums I had no one to talk to that understood! I've seen nearly all my friends and family have children and it makes you feel left out and helpless, inadequate and unfulfilled.

My husband is a rock, we have been on this journey together and I've never seen him cry with joy! He went to Tescos this morning to get the Clearblue so he could see the words.

Love you all xxx

mawof3soontobe · 18/09/2019 23:58

This makes me so fuzzy and happy for you! I was fortunate enough to have 2DCs naturally but had secondary infertility and struggled for 4 years with DC3. Six failed rounds of clomid, daily injections of gonal f and triggering every month determined to get timing right, Three failed IUIs then finally gave up at the end of a stimulated cycle and decided not to get the iui procedure.... He's now sleeping next to me at 11 weeks old and he was so worth it! All the squinting at hundreds of pounds of tests paid off and I love nothing more than seeing women like yourself finally getting their turn!!! All the very very best ❤️

ChangeOfTides · 18/09/2019 23:48

Congratulations!

Lucindaa · 18/09/2019 23:39

9+ years, 1 IVF cycle in April with nothing to freeze we gave up!

Never had a positive, gave up buying all the expensive ovulation tests and relied on all the cheap poas cheapies with months that turned into years of tracking my 28 day cycle.

Long road ahead but finally we have a positive test!

Love you all and everyone also who have supported me on here I pray for the ladies! Don't give up, always be positive, optimistic and keep spreading the baby dust!

The Asda cheapies are deffo notoriously known for being wrong with faint lines. But realistically yours aren't that faint! And the two Asda ones next to each other ... the 2nd is visibly darker than the day before which of course you want to see progression. And then the other internet cheapie you did is even darker and clearer still!! I would say this is deffo looking good for you right now and il deffo be checking tomorrow for the results of your FRER !!! So excited for you huni!! Xx
