Me too. DD 15 months now. This will be month 3 of trying (though we only tried very hard last month). Good luch to all!

Lesle · 29/10/2004 18:35

can I join too? DS is just over 12 months so you may think we're crazy (I do sometimes!) but before getting pg with DS I had endo and so am nervous about whether we can have another / how long it will take, etc. Have just started trying and am already really impatient but that's just me But speaking of which, is the date AF is due the first date you can test or could you get a postive result earlier?

lavender2 · 27/10/2004 11:52

Can I join in? it's for no.3 but still been trying for a year now with one miscarriage

Nikkichik · 27/10/2004 11:51

Oh bugger, just can't get the hang of these smileys!!!

Nikkichik · 27/10/2004 11:50

I meant not

Nikkichik · 27/10/2004 11:48

Me too ..... dd is 2.8. Have been ttc for 6 months, so not long really but still getting a bit depressed about it.
Am 38 so keep wondering if I'm too old!!!!!

lovinit · 27/10/2004 06:43

Me too , liek JiminyCricket, DD is 13 months and we are TTC #2 now as we have finally got married and we were not allowed to have another child out of wedlock !

Fingers crossed for everyone trying !

childish · 26/10/2004 20:57

Can I join you too? dd is 4.5 and we have been trying since she was six months (well for the first year we were not not trying IYSWIM) Am now seeing a homeopath as cannot bear clomid , ovarian drilling cycle again - I have PCOS and it toook 2 years to conceive dd with lots of medicall intervention. Unfortunately Clomid gives me mood swings and I don't want to inflict those on dd

JiminyCricket · 26/10/2004 20:15

Me..ttc for two months so far, dd is 13 months, thought we'd start trying cos you can't really plan the gap, can you? [tho am a complete control freak] Nature sort of makes up her own mind, ho hum.

Slink · 26/10/2004 20:01

Moomin i don't feel so bad now, i have dd3 and half and have been trying for no2 since this yr really trying for 4-5 months but then wot really trying.... anyone who knows me dh has low sex drive and so we have been doing the ole tests but he feels pressured i think and it just seems so controled so we are back to the oh well method.

larlylou · 26/10/2004 19:40

Can I join the list please? Have a ds who is 18 months and have only recently started conceiving for #2 a couple of months ago. Have had two miscarriages and a pregnancy and on all ocassions fell pregnant in the first month so was a little deflated when it didn't happen in the first month of trying second time round. After reading some of the threads though I should feel ashamed of myself for being so impatient and expecting immediate results. This is the second month and I am only 4 days away from knowing either way (I would like to think I was pregnant this time as I do have some symptoms but that seemed to be the case last month too and I think my body just likes to fool me!) Good luck to everyone!

homemummy · 21/10/2004 14:35

Add me to the list. My dd is 23 months. We started ttc #2 10 months ago. I have since had 2 miscarriages, in Feb and June and now seem to be struggling to get pregnant again. I got pregnant first attempt with last 3 pregnancies but nowI think my body is messed up.

Just shows there's no such thing as family planning. I wanted my children to be 2 school years apart. Well, I have two more cycles to attempt that and get a July or August 05 due date.

krocket · 30/09/2004 09:00

mudda - i try to do exactly the same but it's hard isn't it, I have friend with 6 month old baby and DS loves her, so gentle and loving (I realise would probably be different with a brother or sister but so lovely watching him)

muddaofsuburbia · 30/09/2004 08:56

I keep reminding myself that the more time I'm not pg, the more time I have with just me and ds while I'm not knackered and throwing up. But I do think he'll be a such a lovely big brother

me too, DS is 3 and we've been TTC for 5 months

tex111 · 30/09/2004 08:45

Me too. DS is 26 months and we've been TTC since April '04. I had a miscarriage in June and another one a couple of weeks ago. Taking a break this month and then we'll start trying again. Took ten months to conceive DS (and that was with temping, etc) so I thought it might take a while this time. Just never expected to be having miscarriages. Feeling optimistic though and hope to be PG again by Christmas.

cp3 · 30/09/2004 08:08

Me too!!! DD 16, DD 2 and Ds 1. TTc for 3 months only. Feel so much for you ladies that have been ttc for longer. Good Luck to you all

Tania2 · 30/09/2004 05:30

Me too. been ttc for 10 months now ds is 2 in November. took several yrs to conceive ds not sure how many as we wernt really trying but we werent using any contraception for 7 yrs as doc's said i would need help to conceive. seeing a natrapath now and taking chinese herbs friend fell pg in the first month of taking herbs after 6 yrs ttc. fingers crossed for this month. we should count ourselves as lucky as we already have one child. but the age gap thing seems to play in all our minds.

SilverLining · 22/09/2004 21:40

Me too! DD 2.5 years and took one attempt only! TTC no 2 since March with no success. Absolutely hopeless at all the signs I should be looking for and added difficulty is although DH is very willing in the BD department he works away most weeks so our "opportunities" are limited! Not normally a control freak but finding it increasingly difficult when what I want to happen doesn't! Very reassuring to "see" so many other people in similar position - helps me to feel not going mad!! Lots of baby dust to us all!

ebbie22 · 22/09/2004 19:37

I came off hrt to start ttc with dd,only took 6 months in total and only 2 periods...Now its over 9 months

Whimsy · 22/09/2004 19:35

Us too, ds is 21mths and have been trying for 6mths. Had unexplained infertility before ds who we conceived during IUI. Hoping it will happen naturally this time

Moomin · 22/09/2004 18:58

myermay - see my post near the bottom - no it isn't! Took 3 months and then had an early mis then got pg with dd straight away after that. No 2 has taken 21m and counting!

mrsflowerpot · 22/09/2004 18:52

And me. DS is 3y6m - we've been ttc since the beginning of 2003. Only took 5 months first time round, so we were optimistic of getting our 'ideal' 3 year age gap, ho hum.

Mirage · 22/09/2004 18:45

Me too.DD is nearly 13 months & took over 3 years to concieve,so thought we'd better start sooner than later for no2.
