10 DPO, whoes with me?

@mrssunshinexxx AF is due on the 15th ....... I always test far too early but I am just too impatient lol - I tested yesterday and that was as white as white could be so had zero expectation for anything today but now that I see something I am not convinced. And I dont think I can keep it from OH for very long. Omg though the possibility of it still hasn't sunk in!!! I will have held for 4 hours at 4 o'clock so I am going to test again then - I just cant help myself ... and if it's a bfn then I will tell OH when he gets back!! Patience is not a virtue I possess 🤣

I hope your sickness does settle. Even if it doesn't though it will be soooo worth it eeeekkk ...... when is your scan? How long have you had it booked for? Soo exciting!! xx

@Carolba WAIT! 😂 what are you like that is far too early when is af due ? I did mine at 13dpo and it was v dark showed up straight away but it was a cheap home bargains test so I kept quiet and got a clear blue digital I did the next day at 14dpo then told him that eve ! I do think you are pregnant tho! Xx and I hope you are right about it settling down so excited for my first scan

@mrssunshinexxx hopefully the sickness will calm down for you over the next 4 weeks :) such exciting times for you despite the sickness :) :)

I am 9DPO day that's all. I haven't mentioned anything to my OH yet - I dont think I can trust it to be true lol. I am a little like OMG! I am thinking I might do another test later tonight after holding for 4 hours to see if it's a little darker. I am soooooo excited to tell him but want it to be a bit more positive and i dont think i can wait until the morning . Everyones out of the house today and I am just wondering around not knowing what to do!! xx

I took a test this morning (way too early as usual) but I think I can see a line!! Please can you look and tell me if I am going crazy! Dont know if it's just me because I constantly POAS and see BFN all the time so I am not sure! All this TTC has sent me mad lol xxx

@Gigi318 @AshFern I had one clear blue ppl left so I think I used that around when I usually ovulated and it was flashing so just had to guess but for ovulation pains but only had sex on what I think was ovulation day hadn't had sex Since like 3 days before it xx

The month before when af came I was an emotional wreck took it really badly so deleted the apps stopped checking mumsnet every minute, got pissed , went in a hot tub and BAM conceived xx

@AshFern @mrssunshinexxx thank you girls. I'm feeling perkier now, because wine. Hope you get there soon, Ash. Maybe it's time to delete the apps, forget about the planning, and stop TTC? And by that I mean, enjoy DTD and just see what happens? We all know that O is usually somewhere in the middle of the cycle so it's not too crazy to try?

Hi @mrssunshinexxx congrats on your BFP! Super happy for you and your little bean :) Obviously your journey will be different to mine but may I ask what you did differently (if anything) on the month of your BFP? I'm so lost and no idea what else to try..... xxx

@Gigi318 I tried the SMEP method too...and that didnt work for me either. I dont really know what will work in the end! I used opks at the start of my ttc journey but stopped as it was stressing me out and made the whole dtd very un-natural. And it would stress me out if we weren't able to do on the day of the smiley face. I think it's good for couples who have limited time together due to work commitments etc otherwise dtd every other day should technically cover all grounds too. So just depends on the circumstances I suppose. Personally I just found it very stressful but it's good to determine your ovulation day (if you are not aware when that is) xxx

@AshFern that sounds like a good plan. We did every other day and three days in a row but it didn't work. I'm not using OPKs so that could be why. Are you using them?? Xx

@gigi318 ohh hun sorry to hear that!! Such promising signs too! But I'm glad u r out of the tww misery! I'm on CD7, so gearing up to my FW. One app says I'm starting my fw tomorrow and another app says next week (all because of my very short cycle last month!). So started dtd last night anyway just to cover all grounds hehe will carry on doing every other day for the next couple of weeks- as doing every day just burns us out. Not sure which method works? Neither have worked so far for me..... but we will see. Are you using opks? xxx

@AshFern hey chick! So AF arrived for me last night. Lots of cramping before too. All very unusual for me. But at least I'm out of limbo, had a 28 day cycle and now CD2!
