Anyone get a BFP after BFN

Hi all! Sorry for the radio silence! Hope you’re all doing ok and keeping positive. Just had my dr appt this morning which was good. Had some initial swabs to rule out any infections before first investigations can start. Dr didn’t seem concerned about my mammoth 46day cycle this month and put it down to underlying stress about starting tests. I think she’s probably right! Good news is she could see my period was literally imminent and waiting to come down so I’ve booked my cd 1-5 blood tests for tomorrow morning. Feeling the tell-tale headaches etc of af so I’m ready for a new cycle finally! Any news for anyone else? Sorry @HoldingOn2Hope, I don’t know anything about your history but it sounds like things are moving in a positive direction for you!! Got my fingers crossed and manifesting positive vibes for you all! Xx

Hello ladies!

So I had a positive ovulation test yday - had to test to make a record for my nk cells test appt and I was kind of gutted I can't ttc this month :( woke up feeling sad! Does anyone else of pms symptoms during ovulation as I've noticed I do. I've ranted to DH today about it all and kind of had a go with the 'it's okay for men' line and now feel awful!
On a positive my uterus scan was absolutely normal and even my endometrial lining is a healthy and thick so I guess I won't be going ahead with the hysteroscopy.
Another positive is I won't be stressed about a 2ww this month although I feel it's another month lost.

@HoldingOn2Hope very true. I suppose waiting a month can't hurt. Worth finding out and seeing if that's an issue. Hehehehe yes!!! Xx

@Gigi318 Dr S the consultant thinks it's very likely I have elevated NK cells so I guess if I fall pg again I'm at risk of mc. But then you read these stories of women who are lucky 3rd 4th and so on time.
He will probably be annoyed at me too if I turned up at his appt with a bfp! 🤪

@HoldingOn2Hope thank you! It could have been. Had it 9-13DPO! Nothing today and still no AF. A bit crampy right now so 🤷‍♀️ it's such a rollercoaster. Hmmm that is tempted. If you caught then would you still need the appointment?? Xx

@Gigi318 well I hope AF stays well away for you! Brown cm could be implantation bleeding? 😃 my appt is in 4 weeks so if I did ttc again this week they will not be able to do the nk cells test so I should really stay safe! Tempting though

@HoldingOn2Hope heyyy! How are you? So I tested yesterday at 5am (couldn't sleep) and BFN! I'm 14DPO today. No brownish CM so far today (I've had it practically last 5 days very lightly) and no sign of AF yet. AF due tomorrow according to Flo. Will test Thursday as I will be 1 day late then. Eek!!!
Exciting. Shame you have to say safe ☹️ when is your next appointment??

@LynzP85 aww that's so lovely a nice age gap there. Exactly. Another girl I know was late 9 days before BPF. That's true, with ICs its not so bad and you can always order the FRER when you get a BFP on them! 💖

@Gigi318 My patience has been awful so I've been using strip tests each morning for the last 5 days. So it will be hard to leave it another few days before checking again! And if I'm lucky enough to get a positive I would like to know exactly how many days late I am before the result was known!

I was taking to a girl yesterday who had a late period, day 12 she got a positive and my friend Hannah had all negatives until Day 9 and her little one turned 3 today!

My daughter turned 3 last weekend 😁

@LynzP85 hello chick, and welcome. How are you feeling. I'm also second month but TTC1! How old is your DD? Hopefully you'll get that BFP soon. When will you test next? 💖

@HoldingOn2Hope oh yes! But then if you are PG babe all is well. I say carry on as you are. Maybe not actively TTC but relaxed and just seeing what happens. Seems silly to stop TTC to see a specialist when you could already be PG! If that makes sense? Unless the consultant you're seeing isn't fertility related? Either way, fingers crossed for you chick! Xx

@Gigi318 I feel a little relieved but will wait til the gp confirms the findings before I get excited about ttc again! The hysteroscopy was purely to check for septum uterus but i still have that appt with private consultant mid Nov and he would prefer I wasn't pg at the time he sees me. When will you be testing? Exciting 😆

@Trying93 ideally I shouldn't ttc this month as the consultant I'm seeing in Nov doesn't want me to be pg for the appt but I guess I can go with the flow and DTD during my fertile window and see what happens 🤔

Hi ladies....

New to this group today and found this post which makes me feel like I'm not alone!!!

OH and I are also TTC with Baby No2. I came off the pill in 2018 and my periods all year have been a CD28-30 cycle. September my period came on CD32 and I put that down to it being the final week before finishing up for holidays and the usual crazy busy spell.

Anyway, between CD13-17 I got positive ovulation results I didn't test after CD17 so not sure if it was any further prolonged or not.

AF was due 10th Oct so I'm now 9 days late. I've tested several times all negative.

I've had cramping, feeling yucky, tiredness, really sensitive nipples, acne on my jawline (which was the clue that made my mum guess I was pregnant first time round), and CM has varied over the last 2 weeks - gone from thicker white to the clear/white stuff.

This is month 2 of TTC so early days - with our daughter it happened on the second month - but I'm not sure we'll be blessed with the same luck this time!

Just need some other people to talk too who are dealing with the same thing.... none of my immediate friends are TTC.

I've just been for my uterus scan and the scan is fine. No bicornuate/septum uterus so I think I'm going to cancel the hysteroscopy as I don't want another invasive procedure if I don't need it.
@Trying93 sorry this month isn't your bfp month, have a few G&T's this weekend and ovulation will be here before you know it xx

I actually feel okay about it, didn't manage to try much this month so wasnt expecting to get a BFP.

When i first started trying for a baby i thought it was going to be so easy. It took me 27 months to conceive my 1st, i fell pregnant 13 months later and had my 2nd & fell pregnant 13 months later and had my 3rd.

It feels like a lifetime when your waiting doesnt it. I am no longer with the father of my children and have been trying with my DP for 22 months now,

For what its worth aswell, when pregnant with my 2nd i was POAS from the day i was late and didnt get a positive until i was 15 days late. When i had a scan i was supposed to be 9 weeks and was only 7. They said i must of conceived later in my cycle
