@LochNessMumster87
Well said, people should only join a thread to be supportive. Those comments were entirely uncalled for.

Xx

Yes girl!!!!!

Op Thanks

LochNessMumster87 · 21/09/2019 16:07

I really don't think anyone needs to start getting angry and swearing about things that don't concern them. I've already said I don't know what's going on..... And I won't know until I speak to my doctor. I'm not saying I'm pregnant and I'm not saying I'm not. And anyone who's commented with positive thoughts is just trying to help, posting with a bad attitude basically telling someone they're stupid for believing multiple pregnancy tests over one frer over a week ago isn't exactly doing anything but making you look cruel and unnecessary. People come on here for support and advice and help. Cheap pregnancy tests work the same as expensive ones they just don't charge insane amounts of money for them, which is why so many women buy bulk and test every day because if they bought a damn frer every day they would need to be rich to support the habit. If you want to say horrible things go somewhere else. There's no need especially when people on this board are more than likely confused, scared and desperate to get pregnant. And anyone with pcos who goes month after month of negative tests would know how heartbreaking and depressing it is, so do me and everyone else a favour and keep your stupid bitch opinions to yourself around people trying for a baby, they're not stupid and they most certainly are not idiots for believing a test just because it's not a stupid overpriced piece of plastic that has shitty reviews anyway!

How are you doing OP? Did you test today?

AloneLonelyLoner · 21/09/2019 14:51

I'm with @taytosandwich on this one.

@LochNessMumster87 I'm so sorry, but if it were a viable pregnancy then the line would be really dark by now. People are giving out false hope.

Very early miscarriage is far more common than the chances of multiple tests being slightly wonky. I've had a few myself. I know it's hard but you need to get this sorted because if you haven't passed it then it could sit in there for months. Preventing you from a successful pregnancy.

Best wishes to you.

taytosandwich · 21/09/2019 14:33

And I apologise if that sounds harsh but you're driving yourself mad with these tests, it's very bad for your emotional health and you don't need false hope, you need to be realistic.

taytosandwich · 21/09/2019 14:31

Negative nellies? She's had a negative on a first response. the cheap shit tests are throwing up faint positive lines because they cheap and shit, multiple people have told her that it's happened to them too, and she still doesn't believe them because a few people come along throwing crumbs of false hope. OP I am surprised you're so incredulous at the thought that cheap tests will throw up false positives but seem fine with thinking every other (decent) test will produce false negatives. If you were pregnant your hcg should be in the thousands by now.

LochNessMumster87 · 21/09/2019 08:27

Thank you all so much 😊 I still have hope then lol xxx

@LochNessMumster87 With my son I didn't get a strong positive until 3 weeks after missed period! XX

motherofdinosau · 21/09/2019 08:13

I had very faint lines (cheapie £land tests) like yours for approx two weeks (lots of symptoms of being pregnant though) and then the last one i did was a very strong clear line! I then bought a digital & it said i was 3-4 weeks!
With my first i used cheapie tests and all had strong lines from The start.
It can happen like this, so dont listen to the negative nellies 😊
But please, for your own piece of mind, consult your dr & they can do a blood test & that way you will know for sure

Butterflykiss00 · 21/09/2019 07:38

@LochNessMumster87 😂😂😂 I hope they both do well

LochNessMumster87 · 20/09/2019 23:29

Thank you 😊 hopefully there will be 2 additions to the household. A baby and a baby bathroom since clearly she's also pregnant. I've always wanted 2 kids and 2 bathrooms!

The tests are not invalidated by taking them out the casing! (speaking as a clinical scientist). I can see a line in all of your tests OP and I think your GP will want to do bloods to check your blood HCG level. Really feel for you in this limbo!

TtcanotherG · 20/09/2019 23:18

Hope u answers soon lochness

Actionhasmagic · 20/09/2019 23:09

Good luck

sheshootssheimplores · 20/09/2019 22:15

I’ve only heard on MN that pregnancy tests become invalid once you split them open. I too think that’s bullshit. If pregnancy tests showed s lime each time I’d busted one of the little bastards open I’d have spent far less time staring at completely white tests.

kissbutter · 20/09/2019 21:57

🙂😂😂 your reply made me laugh @LochNessMumster87

LochNessMumster87 · 20/09/2019 19:16

I have already explained that the lines were there already and that I only took the front off to get a good picture. Also I find it hard to believe that taking it off can cause a test to turn positive... Unless the air in my bathroom is pregnant. And since you can buy cheap pregnancy test strips that are literally open to the elements...wouldnt they all have lines? So every woman taking cheap strip tests goes around thinking they're pregnant because the air has given them a positive pregnancy test?

itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted · 20/09/2019 19:05

I'm sure it's been said already but you are invalidating the test by taking them apart - once the air gets to them it can make a line appear.....i think that's what this this x

NoseringGirl · 20/09/2019 18:41

I totally understand your feelings on this and I know you've tested with water etc. But I honestly don't trust those tests at all. I've had lines on them and I've been testing way too early and would not have been producing hcg. They're hit and miss as well because I've also had negatives on them.
Definitely go to that doctors appointment but I'd trust the FRER over these cheapie tests, especially this late on.
I'm so sorry you're going through all this and I hope you get a strong and sticky BFP very soon!!

LochNessMumster87 · 20/09/2019 18:15

It's just all so confusing! I literally don't know what to think by this point. With my son I felt bloated took a test and bam.... Dark line, went and got a digi and it said 1-2 weeks it was easy and simple and there was no what if this what if that. But after 4 years of blank tests this has really got me going insane ☹️ I'm so scared

sredwards · 20/09/2019 17:41

@LochNessMumster87 I can see the faint line. Hopefully you'll have bloods taken on Monday and go from there. Xxx

Shelbustotherescue · 20/09/2019 15:03

You really should have a much stronger line than that - I can't see the most recent line at all.

Hopefully the doctors can help on Monday Thanks

MyFartWillGoOn · 20/09/2019 13:50

OP I know how heartbreaking this is but I think, given the first test was taken nearly two weeks ago now, this doesn't look like it's progressing as it should.

Whereas early on I could see v faint line, the most recent one below looks absolutely negative to me, coupled with the frer being negative

I think you should keep the appointment for Monday, get bloods done and see what's happening with your cycle. You've said they're quite erratic so it might just be a long one for you.

I'm really sorry as I totally understand the energy behind wanting this and I know everyone is routing for you. Xx
