I'm pretty certain I ovulated on Friday, after 2 months of constant negative opks. So these next two weeks are going to drive me fully barmy! Anyone else out there in the TWW?

I'm 1dpo (I think) and had some pink ewcm today when I wipe (sorry tmi!) I've googled, I know you shouldn't and it says it can be ovulation spotting! Well, never had that in my life! Seems cruel it would start on our first month ttc. If it gets heavy or I keep getting it will mention to gp! It's bizarre! Anybody else had similar ever?

Livingmagicallyagain · 02/09/2019 21:52

Fingers crossed everyone!

I had brown spotting, quite a bit, with both previous DC. This, however, has turned red. AF is never 3 days early! Temp was still high this morning too.

Each2TheirOwn · 02/09/2019 21:32

5DPO today having twinges in my stomach, pain/discomfort in my lower back (left hand side), heartburn, wind and a dodgy stomach. Probably completely unrelated but I can hope 🤞🏼

Cake2 · 02/09/2019 18:24

@Livingmagicallyagain definitely not an expert but I think brown is ok?? Keeping fingers crossed for you!

Woodlandwitch · 02/09/2019 17:58

Also in 2ww although I couldn’t feel ovulation this month and normally I get the twinge on either side around ovulation.

Livingmagicallyagain · 02/09/2019 17:56

Good bit of brown CM today, nowhere near enough to fill a panty liner but am worried?

MrssC92 · 02/09/2019 15:55

Sounds really positive livingmagicallyagain! Fingers crossed for you!

@MountAbora it's definitely hard sometimes but it will be our turn one day. I'm TTC baby #1 so I like to ask other pregnant friends/ colleagues what symptoms they had or how theyve been getting prepared for baby's arrival. It helps to get excited and prepared for when it's our turn!

Livingmagicallyagain · 02/09/2019 15:07

@cake2 I’ve not been able to get a decent photo! I’ll try again tomorrow or the day after when my One Step ICs arrive!!

Cake2 · 02/09/2019 15:01

@Livingmagicallyagain sounds positive... do you have a pic of your test?

@ALittleBitAlexis i find it difficult to know what symptoms are real and what are just in your head! Hopefully it is the start of it all for you! Sore boobs, emotional and a few twinges are what I’ve felt so far at 5 DPO...

@mountabora poor you... it’s not easy! But you’ll be the one sharing your good news soon!

MountAbora · 02/09/2019 13:57

Having one of those days were my green eyed monster is out in full force as just found out another person in my office is pregnant. I actually really am happy for them but I’m also insanely jealous. Anyone else get this with others pg announcements or just crazy lady me?!

ALittleBitAlexis · 02/09/2019 13:22

@Livingmagicallyagain they sound like really positive symptoms at that stage, fingers crossed!

Today I keep feeling twinges and getting excited, then remembering I'm only a couple of days dpo so it really can't be connected... it's going to be a long ten days!

Livingmagicallyagain · 02/09/2019 10:36

10/11 dpo now and very minimal and light brown spotting today and yesterday. Last time I tested positive two days after the spotting!

The squintiest of squinters on a very non-sensitive HPT this morning (didn’t realise it was 25mlu) but could be nothing...

Nicecupofcoco · 02/09/2019 08:49

Hi all, can I join, I got my positive opk Saturday morning so I'm guessing I'm 1dpo today ish!
I had a chemical pregnancy last month which we weren't trying for, but was a lovely surprise seeing a secind line on a test, but sadly faded to negative over a few days. so this is our 1st month of ttc baby number 2.
I feel like i left it too late this month, I think I ovulated earlier than normally would which caught me off guard, dh and I dtd on the Friday evening (day before positive opk) and Saturday evening (day of positive opk) but I just wish we'd got a few more sessions in! Grin not feeling very hopeful for this month, but we will see!
Baby dust to all! It's going to be a long two weeks for me! Can't seem to distract myself from it for long!

GoldLeafTree · 02/09/2019 07:38

4dpo and I've woken up with twinges/very mild cramps in my stomach but not like usual period cramps

This is my first month TTC so I could just be overthinking it and thinking every slight feeling is a sign. It is still really early

Chaosonthehorizon · 01/09/2019 20:55

Mountabora interesting! Arrgh af late and not pregnant, that would properly screw with my mind

MountAbora · 01/09/2019 20:32

Thanks. @Cake2 hopefully this month will be a better month for you🤞

MountAbora · 01/09/2019 20:29

@chaosonthehorizon I wondered that too. The last month we ttc I was 2 days late & we almost convinced ourselves I was pg then were pretty upset when af arrived. When I had my chemical pregnancy I tested at 10dpo & the only silver lining of the experience was that I told myself at least I could get pg. This month I feel like a BFN would at least prepare me for af. I think it depends on how you feel that month.

Cake2 · 01/09/2019 20:22

@MountAbora sorry to hear that you had a chemical too! It was more upsetting than I expected. It didn’t help that I was soo hormonal / emotional anyway 😂

@chaosonthehorizon I said at the time I wished I hadn’t known but now I’m glad I did. Will definitely make me more hesitant to believe any future pregnancies and I would probably wait until AF is due to test.

Who knew how complicated TTC was! All worth it in the end I’m sure...

Chaosonthehorizon · 01/09/2019 19:44

Just musing...better to test early and risk finding a chemical but at least know you got pregnant or wait until af but not know whether you even ovulated or got pregnant but save the heartache? Have never tested early (mainly for cost reasons) so just musing.

MrssC92 · 01/09/2019 19:23

@ALittleBitAlexis that's a really good idea! I have some cheap ones off Amazon which I should get rid of and stick to my clear blue digital so ill only test when I'm late. I suppose we'll anyways think about it with hope but controlling it by when we test is a good start

TiramisuMonkey · 01/09/2019 19:04

Think I ovulated on Thursday (according to apps) but may have been Wednesday tbh! So I'm starting my 2WW as well 😬🤞 after several mcs we're finally ttc again! fingers crossed for all you ladies

MountAbora · 01/09/2019 18:54

Thanks @Each2TheirOwn fingers crossed anyway!

Each2TheirOwn · 01/09/2019 17:46

@mountabora it only takes the once 😉🤞 x

ALittleBitAlexis · 01/09/2019 16:05

@MrssC92 It's really hard! I try to remind myself of previous disappointments from testing too early, and I've resisted buying any cheapy tests so I have to shell out £10 a pop and that gives me pause :P

It's still on my mind way too much though, I haven't worked out how to stop thinking about it.

Gosh I am going mad this month. Feeling age pressure and age gap pressure too. Also ttc 3, did SMEP and first month using OPK’s too but who knows. Such a lottery. Not testing until af due (and all three apps have a different date), usually as regular as clockwork, so af apparently between 4th and 9th!!! Don’t remember any symptoms for either previous pregnancies until about 6 wks ish but hasn’t stopped me spotting them the last couple of months!! Mental woman!
