New ttc no1 thread.

BTW if anyone knows where those no1 babies are I'd like to know! If I was a real detective I think I would have been sacked by now!

Hi PM !!

Ooo hotchocolate nomore sounds nice.. unfortunately I am out tonight and therefore may not be around.. we're in the middle of full on bong week so won't be drinking too much but thought a couple of glasses couldn't do any harm

PinkMartini · 22/08/2007 13:25

at too many Pinks! You're right!

I am 9 weeks now and have been quite sick. Thank god I work from home, as would be hard to disguise in an office.

I definitely think as a thread we're doing something right - still don't feel at home on the AN threads really. Feel a bit in limbo I think it was FiFi's glastonbury luck that did it for me (and being on holiday and so lots of bonging!!)

We're now thinking of moving house (stay in London though) - but I'm worried about hospital appts etc. Hard to know really.

Sorry, just rambling really.
Hope you're all well.

nomoremagnolia · 22/08/2007 13:06

PinkMartini Missed you off the long post - I put PE for PinkElephant instead of PM for PinkMartini though I was thinking of you, there's just too many pinks! (although PE is pg, so good luck to her too!)

Morning all - work emergency over but still having a bad day

Hi Babybratt - you're BP is very insenstive! Just ignore her.. I haven't even told people I'm trying so there's no way I'm telling anyone until at least 12 weeks - if I don't show loads I may wait till even later!

Hey Nomore thanks for the hot chocolate offer and sorry I didn't make it to the beanbag last night! I agree it is totally freezing - I had the heating on last night - I can't believe it is August! The weather is at least supposed to improve by the weekend..

Gilly - glad the move down south is working out so well for you and the job is all you hoped!

Morning Scorpio - good luck with your midwife appointment!

big congrats macaco - I saw your BFP on the other thread.

How are you feeling today poppy?

Big hello to everyone else!!

Should we do a CD roll call so we all know where we are in the month? You ladies with the BFPs should add in how many weeks you are

Rollcall

Toomuch - CD13

BabyBratt · 21/08/2007 21:42

Hi Nomore, today I've felt tired and a little sicky . I can't wait for this to feel real.

Toomuch I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Poppy I spent the last 10 months with that feeling. My friends and I all got married over the last 3 years and I am one of the last to fall pg.

My BP upset me today. I have opted to keep the pregnancy quiet until I have my scan. She said she did not understand me and that I obviously was not excited about being pg. Is she real???? this is coming from the woman who got pg the month she came off the pill. She told everyone as soon as she knew at about 5 weeks and she has been extremely lucky in that she has had good pregancy with no hiccups. I think she has such a narrow minded view of things.

Gilly - I saw your wedding dress, so lovely. Sleeves are set to be a fashion in 2008. I love big dresses.

Hi nomore

im just tired x 10000000000000000 got midwife tomorrow.

i too get insanely jealous of those that conceive just like that its normal to feel this way, IMO!

Ready - think i may get Bee in Dark Khaki retail £365, plus accessories. Got on waiting list already

nomoremagnolia · 21/08/2007 19:14

Hi all, how are we this chilly evening? Anyone else feel it's more like autumn the August today? I've got my totes socks on!!

poppy Welcome back - congratulations on the promotion and your weight loss! Totally understand how you feel about pg friends, especially those who don't have to 'try' Please rant away in here - it's great to have the support of others in the same boat. (Just think how much we are saving the NHS in counselling)

macaco How are you feeling now? still no sign of AF? How easy is it for you to get pg test in Spain? Is it like here where they are in tesco or do you have to face the doctor? (Have never had to buy a pg test in another country, had to get antibiotics for tonsilitis when I was abroad once, but that's different!)

fifi How are you? Any news on the test results yet? Well done for being so brave! Sounds like your house is the place to be - was you mini glasto last Sun or this coming one?

Gilly I like going on the underground too! Though once I went the wrong way round the circle line from Baker St to Liverpool St and it took ages! Glad you're enjoying all the things the capital has to offer - I think one of the best things was walking along South Bank on a Sunday afternoon - there's always something going on there.

kensgirl, graysongirl and millie hope you're all enjoying your holidays and are getting lots of R&R. Well except for you millie as it doesn't sound much like an R&R type of holiday, but I hope you're enjoying it none the less - I also apologise for calling you mollie earlier on in the thread only just spotted it

Ready How's things? How was your 'dirty dinner'? Keeping your chin up? Hope so

MT Are you on holiday too or just busy with life? (note to self - just cause you spend all day on MN does not mean everyone else does...)

rattling Keep up the scowling, and do it for all of us too! I know what you mean though, I've given up trying to be 'nice' about pgs unless it's someone I'd really feel bad upsetting. Unfortunately now I've started to notice that I'm the last to get to hear of pg announcements - either people are trying to shield me or they're fed up of my reaction!

BB, Bella, PE, and Scorpio How ar you all over in pg corner? There's getting to be quite a few of you here now We (as a thread that is) must be doing something right at last! Hope you're all feeling very sick!!!!

Think that's everyone - if I've forgotton anyone I'm really sorry!!

I also feel that I'm the only one who is going through all this shit and everyone else in the world just has to slightly want to have a baby and heh presto healthly pregnant!! Needed to be with others who understand

poppy75 · 21/08/2007 14:58

Hello guys
Don't know if you remember me but was on the thread a long time ago. Was just needing some support. I have been trying to get on with things as had M/C last June and ttc without luck since then. Lately have had break from MN and lost alittle weight have got promotion at work and feeling really positive and trying not to concentrate on ttc.

Well today am meeting friends one is 6 months pregnant and I am so happy for her. But it took courage to go out and discuss baby stuff with them. Well AF arrived today (early) and then another of the group has just texted saying she's pregnant!!! Just when I was getting on with things. I feel so bad that I'm not as happy as I should be for her.

macaco · 21/08/2007 13:58

hello all. I had period cramps but quite mild for about half an hour last night. Really thought it was period but nothing. Turning into a mad pant checker. Now day 36 and apart from occasional cramps no sign of period. Although I did have a couple of 39 or 37 day cycles this year....so doesn't necessarily mean much. Feeling REALLY fat but I think that's just eating too much cake!

its the 26th October, My love to her MIL. My wedding dress is hung on the end of my wardrobe.

Gilly - 7 stone you must have been so petit. How nice. I do not think I've ever been 7 stone.

nomoremagnolia · 20/08/2007 18:32

Hello macaco too, in my excitement about the ball I forgot to say hello!!

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 20/08/2007 18:28

I will tell my Dsis about it BB she's near(ish) you and her MIL is currently having treatment for breast cancer, so cause is close to her heart. She only just got married too, so her dress should still fit her!! (unlike mine, I fear) I know it's probably on the website, but when is it?

Claire mum survived breast cancer last year and my granddads wife (not grandma, he married again bless him) has survived it, she has been all clear for a number of years.

I really hope we raise alot of money. When I get pics I will put them online and you can have a look. I am hoping that alot of women are like us and would love to wear their dress again.

nomoremagnolia · 20/08/2007 16:58

BB your ball looks amazing, wish I lived closer and I'd come. What a fab way to raise money for such a good cause.

Thanks guys, I am hoping my midwife is nicer. Sorry for being so paranoid. I promise that is it, I feel better for just telling everyone writing things down makes me realise just how irrational I am being

Scorpio and bellabear I am glad you are both ok, that is the great thing about MN you have a good support network.

My doctor would not even see me straight away until they had sent a urine sample to be tested. I think I might try and change health centres.

Everyone else thank you for being so kind and letting me stay

Im still go to bore you all with stories of DH and my shop. Now I can even bore you about the ball!!

scorpio1 · 20/08/2007 15:16

and you sound like you have lots of symptoms-more than me!!!
