Anyone else in the TWW and want to keep each other sane?

Yes the thought of a possible BFP is niggling at the back of my mind but I don't want to get my hopes up. Plus my BBT has dropped today which indicates imminent AF.

Holiday has been amazing, got to watch a close friend get married and it was just incredible. I'm in awe of their relationship, it's pure love. We also did lots of exploring and loads of long walks.

Flying home today, just packing up now. Looking forward to going back to reality.

How are you all feeling today?

@TTCmyfirstbambino Congratulations! I hope this is your sticky bean! 🤞🤞🤞

@Chaosonthehorizon I know what you mean! But if it were me I'd probably not stop altogether, just transition into a softer approach so that you don't have a "cut off point" so to speak. Just for your own mental health to go from all go to nothing could be a regret later down the line. But hopefully this is all a moot point and you have conceived already! 😊🤞

@Blossomingflower94 and @AliSxo Sorry ladies! Like you say it's not over till it's over! I've seen plenty of people around here who said they felt like AF was coming and ended up with a BFP! How has your holiday been @Blossomingflower94 ?

I'm at 6 DPO now which has somehow flown yet dragged. Not symptom spotting as such though nausea is had to ignore (it's more like motion sickness, car journeys are awful) - but judging by my last cycle this is just something that happens for me in the luteal phase with all the progesterone. I've also had cystitis and a flu jab which made me exhausted so it's all skewed anyway 😆 Onwards and upwards!

AliSxo · 27/09/2019 22:58

Same boat for me @Blossomingflower94 I suppose we're not out until AF arrives but it feels like I'm out this month xx

Blossomingflower94 · 27/09/2019 22:45

Hello all

Firstly congratulations on the BFP. Lovely to see some more good news for you all 💙

Think AF will be here in full force tomorrow for me. Had some brown spotting with cramps today which is normal for imminent AF for me. Ill let you all know when it happens I'm sure ,😑

Amazing @TTCmyfirstbambino let us know how you get on tomorrow!!

@Raizelrea no AF just yet, I've had dizziness today which is always a sign she's on her way so she'll be here soon and I can crack on to the next cycle xx

Chaosonthehorizon · 27/09/2019 20:10

Raizelrea thank you and you are quite right there is nothing to actually suggest I am not pregnant either (just occurred to me before opening mumsnet 😀. Great minds! Yes it is really and DH not keen on a four year gap and worried about an autumn baby also I guess at some point we have to draw a line and move forward. Thank you 😀

TTCmyfirstbambino · 27/09/2019 19:41

Been feeling so so tired this week like I did the last two times I've fallen pregnant (unfortunately miscarried at 5 weeks both times) but really didn't think I was Pregnant again until I took 2 (cheap) tests about 10 mins ago and 2 faint positives!! (See pic)
I'm trying to stay calm but I'm so so worried and anxious already that it won't stick 😥 I'm 11dpo and really wasn't expecting a positive.
Any tips for getting through the first 12 weeks without worrying yourself sick?
I'm gonna do a clear blue test tomorrow morning and see if the line is any stronger..

Baby dust for everyone and keep your fingers crossed for me 🖤

Raizelrea · 27/09/2019 19:27

There's nothing saying you can't be pregnant just because you're having the regular luteal phase symptoms though 😊 Try to stay positive and Monday you'll be wiser.

Is it just the age gap between the children that would make you want to stop TTC after this cycle? Just wondering as you wouldn't want to look back in 10 years time thinking what if we tried another few months. Chances are if you really want a third it won't just stop cropping up on your mind 😞 But maybe a more relaxed "not trying" approach is what you need to actually conceive!

I have my fingers crossed for you on Monday!

Chaosonthehorizon · 27/09/2019 18:29

AF due mon-weds. That is my worry, just normal not pregnant 😓. Think I might test on Monday morning and if BFN then know I am out and probably done ttc 3😓

Raizelrea · 27/09/2019 17:01

@AliSxo Fingers crossed it doesn't arrive today, let us know either way!

@Chaosonthehorizon Sorry not much help - I always get bloated a few days before AF. Where in your cycle are you at the moment?

Chaosonthehorizon · 27/09/2019 16:51

Has anyone else got bloating/swelling really low down in your abdomen (particularly anyone who already has children). Don’t think I have this usually but all months blurring into one! Boobs totally not hurting though 😓 so probably clutching at straws!

AliSxo · 27/09/2019 07:40

Thanks @Raizelrea 💗

I had a 25 day cycle too last month I'm on day 26 today but If AF arrives today I won't be surprised xxx

Raizelrea · 27/09/2019 07:18

Hi ladies! Sorry to hear you both feel like AF is coming on, it's not over till it's over! Hope you enjoyed your nice meals and are in a better mindset no matter what the weekend brings! Flowers

Blossomingflower94 · 27/09/2019 07:12

Love a good meal to cheer me up. Totally best to wait till AF too. I'm currently CD 25 of a 28 day cycle however AF arrived on day 25 last month. If AF hasn't arrived by Sunday I'll do a test then.

Everything crossed for you x

Thanks @Blossomingflower94 it's tough isn't it! We had a nice tea tonight so trying to just distract myself and be happy about other things, I'm not testing tomorrow I'll be 12DO for sure tomorrow but I'm waiting for AF now she's due Sunday xxxx

Blossomingflower94 · 26/09/2019 20:17

@Alisxo I'm sorry 😞 I know how you feel. Currently feeling AF imminent arrival too and although I was expecting it it's still disappointing.

Look after yourself 💙

AliSxo · 26/09/2019 18:11

I feel like AF is imminent. Having a nice tea and come to terms that I'm very likely out this month x

Raizelrea · 26/09/2019 08:37

@AliSxo Yeah definitely not out yet, 12 DPO is still early days! Try again on Saturday or Sunday if AF doesn't show 🤞

AliSxo · 26/09/2019 08:09

Hey @Raizelrea I tested this morning with a FRER and big fat negative xx bit gutted but work today will distract me and I'm not out until AF arrives xxxxxxxx

Raizelrea · 26/09/2019 08:01

@Blossomingflower94 Enjoy! And yes you're right even a rainy holiday is a holiday, shouldn't stop you from having fun! I think half a pint of Guiness is still pretty reserved 😁 I think I read somewhere that they used to recommend that a pregnant woman drinks Guiness every day to make sure she has good iron levels back in the day 😁

I'm now 4 DPO, work's been busy so it's going by quickly, but in a way I also can't believe I'm not further. A good friend of mine just had a baby yesterday so getting massively broody over the photos.

@AliSxo Oh wow, your TWW is basically over! Maybe test on Saturday so that whatever the result is it's the weekend and you have time to process it all? And you'll be 13 DPO so there's a good chance it should show!

AliSxo · 25/09/2019 21:05

Hope you have a great holiday and it'll take your mind off things! You've done well not to pack any tests! I'm around 12DPO tomorrow and tempted to do a FRER tomorrow morning but not sure if I should hold off x

Blossomingflower94 · 25/09/2019 20:37

Raining here too! I don't mind as it's not going to stop us doing anything.

Not going to lie, I've just had a half pint of Guinness as I'm that convinced AF is coming and I don't want to not do what I would on a normal holiday.

Wedding on Friday so I'm sure that will distract me from my impending period.

Raizelrea · 25/09/2019 07:59

@Blossomingflower94 Enjoy - it's horrible and rainy over here! Not too shabby as far as spending the TWW goes 😄

Blossomingflower94 · 25/09/2019 07:40

Off on holiday and haven't packed any tests. It was a battle but I'm just going to wait till I get back and then AF will be due. 👌🏼
