Anyone else in the TWW and want to keep each other sane?

Thank you, I think you're right!

Wow that sounds interesting, weird but in a good way, must have felt surreal!

Blossomingflower94 · 07/10/2019 19:39

😔 I'm sorry. Glad your feeling ok though. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason so you're definitely right that it wasn't meant to be.

That's rubbish that you've both got grandparents in hospital. I hope things look up for you soon.

Well the mediation tank was AWESOME. Google sensory deprivation tank and it'll bring up photos . Weird experience but totally calming. Totally lost perception of time.

Yeah sadly heavier bleeding than my usual AF. I guess it's a good thing though as apparently chemicals happen when something is really wrong, like chromozone numbers and such, so it's for the best I'm sure. I think I'll take a break from tracking FW and ovulation this month - both me and OH have grandparents in hospital as of this weekend and things are not looking great so will likely be all over the place. I'll float about here still I'm sure, I'm invested and don't want to miss your BFP ☺️

I love meditation, let me know how it was. Haha "OH doesn't know we're doing SMEP" - sounds like something I'd do 😂

Blossomingflower94 · 07/10/2019 09:11

😔 has AF officially arrived?

Um no, day 2 for the flashing today.

I'm off for an hour's 'silent meditation' this afternoon. It's meant to be super relaxing and I can't wait!!

We are (well DP doesn't know this) doing SMEP this month. Have started with the every other day since yesterday. Really hoping for the static smile on Thursday as then we have 4 days off together and definitely do the 3 days of DTD in a row.

Raizelrea · 07/10/2019 07:33

Thanks lovely. I think it was a chemical as I still have sore boobs and nausea, on the bright side that means we can conceive I guess!

Is this day 3 of flashing smileys for you?

Blossomingflower94 · 07/10/2019 07:29

Oh 💔 I'm so sorry. Damn FRER getting your hopes up.

Have a few drinks today and enjoy your birthday! x

Flashing smiley (as expected) again for me today.

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 07/10/2019 07:21

There was maybe a ghost of a line on the CB though the FRER one yesterday was more visible. Either way my bleeding seems to be increasing so it doesn't appear to be sticking ☹️

Raizelrea · 06/10/2019 21:43

Haha we debated that but I don't think our local stores stock FRERs, will be gross and save some morning wee, then buy one on my lunch break as I work in the centre. Will keep you posted for sure!

Blossomingflower94 · 06/10/2019 21:05

🙈 what a nightmare. Send DP out as an early birthday present to get a test!

Let me know! Good luck!

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 06/10/2019 20:11

Thank you! The only test I have left here is the CB early detection, will take that in the morning and try to buy a FRER. Can't believe I wasted that last FRER on a random mid-afternoon pee!

Blossomingflower94 · 06/10/2019 19:49

Oh. My. Goodness. I really hope it's a line line!!!
I can't wait for the morning for you to test again!!

Raizelrea · 06/10/2019 17:16

And to answer your question it is a better job (at least from what I know so far) within the same company, slightly different from what I do but there are some similarities, it's project management focused.

Raizelrea · 06/10/2019 17:00

Oh my god. I think I'm losing the plot. I took a FRER just now because I was bored and I see a super faint line. Even OH sees it but he says he thinks it needs to be a "linier line" to mean something.

Blossomingflower94 · 06/10/2019 16:12

Happy birthday for tomorrow!!

Ooooh new job hopefully then, is it a change from your current job?

Sorry to hear about your nan 😞 I hope she's ok.

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 06/10/2019 13:09

Thanks lovely! I'll probably test tomorrow morning unless AF shows up in full force today.

I do have a fairly busy week ahead actually, tomorrow is my birthday so having a nice dinner with OH to celebrate, I have a job interview on Wednesday so need to prepare for that and going to Edinburgh with friends over the weekend! After that I'm not sure though I may need to schedule in a last minute family trip at some point as my grandma is not well 😞 (My family don't live in the UK so it's not just a case of going whenever unfortunately). So I do have plenty on for the month for sure!

Do you have any nice plans for your time off? We've been meaning to do more hikes on days off but the weather is too crappy!

Blossomingflower94 · 06/10/2019 11:38

:( I still have everything crossed for you. I know how it feels to not want to get your hopes up. Maybe do a test to be sure? Will answer the question for definite then!

What do you have planned for the next month?

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 06/10/2019 10:30

Due today though Flo is predicting tomorrow based on when I ovulated. I started spotting yesterday which is normally a sign she's coming. Still have nausea and a sore boob (just the one haha) which is annoying, but I've accepted it's not my month.

Blossomingflower94 · 06/10/2019 10:22

No I am using a new holder. Figured every month is different and I didn't get a BFP last month so I'd rather 'start again'.

Hoping for 3 or 4 days flashing and that'll mean DTD will fall easily with DPs shifts.

Any sign of AF? When is it due? x

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 06/10/2019 08:46

I actually really like grapefruit juice, I find it much nicer than orange juice 😄

That's good about the flashing smiley, are you using the same holder? I read that of you keep using the same one it gets used to your hormone levels so you only get a couple days of flashing smileys as opposed to the crazy 5 days.

Blossomingflower94 · 06/10/2019 06:14

Haha yes way cheaper!!

CD8 for me today and ive got my flashing smiley already! It's a day earlier than last month so hoping that means an earlier ovulation. We shall see over the next few days.

Still having my grapefruit juice, folic acid and omega 3,6,9 daily. I have really noticed a difference in increased CM. Even starting to like grapefruit 😂

Raizelrea · 05/10/2019 21:57

Me too I've always wanted to see one so when I found out there was one locally to me I was all over it, feeling very inspired now 😊

Thank you, I'm not sure if I believe in implantation bleeding being a thing beyond just a tinge of red in CM, I always get spotting before period so I don't want to hang on to false hope.

Amazing, I bet you feel really accomplished now, having a freshly tidy house and some time off to enjoy it is perfect 😊

£8 sounds pretty reasonable actually, definitely worth the investment - way cheaper than the CB OPKs 😆

Blossomingflower94 · 05/10/2019 21:21

I love watching TED talks on YouTube. Would really like to see one live!

Everything crossed for you, hopefully it's not AF and just Implantation.

Not going away which is nice. Lots of little house jobs to do which will keep me busy and relaxed. Cleaned the house from top to bottom today so I'm super chill at the moment 😂

I'm not super strict with the temping. Try and do it the same time each day but it's hard with shifts. The thermometer I brought was only £8.

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 05/10/2019 20:09

Oh amazing, that should be a good relaxed month for you! Are you going anywhere or just rejuvenating at home?

I'm 13 DPO today and started spotting so I'm guessing AF will be here tomorrow or Monday. I had a nice time at a local TED talk today though and now having a glass of wine by the fireplace. So things could be worse ☺️

I don't temp no, I would like to give it a try in the future but not sure what OH would think of it.

Sounds like you have the right attitude, should be a good month! I actually have a job interview coming up and if I get I may skip a month or two, so watch me get pregnant when we're trying to not conceive 😂

Blossomingflower94 · 05/10/2019 15:11

Yes looking forward to this cycle. I am on annual leave for the next two weeks so no excuse not to DTD lots! Feeling much more chilled about the whole process too, almost 'meh, it'll happen when it happens' which i think is good as stress helps no one!

It's an oral thermometer. The vaginal ones seem so much more of a 'faf' per say. Ill see how it goes.

Do you temp?

When is your AF due? You were 12DPO yesterday right?

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 05/10/2019 08:13

You're getting to the exciting part of the cycle then! Do you do the temping vaginally?

We're going to a day of local TED talks today which I'm excited about. Didn't test this morning as I can't imagine the result would be different. Will probably test again tomorrow or possibly Monday if there's no AF by then.
