Anyone else in the TWW and want to keep each other sane?

This month we did, we will definitely DTD again this month but we just haven't had time since.

Started getting period like cramping about half an hour ago. Only on CD 17 and I never get cramps until the day of. Really hoping this is implantation as currently 5DPO!

@Chaosonthehorizon no, because it's fun, but I'm less worried about exactly when we do it!

Chaosonthehorizon · 26/08/2019 15:28

Do you all stop DTD as soon as you have got through the peak ovulation period?

itssquidstella · 26/08/2019 14:47

@Blossomingflower94 hunger could be a promising sign! Fingers crossed for you!

@Raizelrea sounds like you've got plenty on in the next two weeks at least! Yeah I've been terrible this holiday - too much time to google every possible pregnancy symptom in existence! I'm quite looking forward to the distraction of being back at work 😆

Raizelrea · 26/08/2019 14:43

@itssquidstella Oh I can imagine how you'd be symptom spotting during the school break! Thankfully my OH uses his laptop while I have my table so he doesn't see my searches 😂

I'm pretty lucky this cycle as we're going to a wedding on Saturday, then visiting my parents and then going to Austria for another wedding and a bit of a mini break, so the second week shouldn't be too bad. Too bad we can't do this every month!

@Blossomingflower94 Sounds promising! I normally get really hungry the week coming up to my period but not this early on so fingers crossed for you!

Blossomingflower94 · 26/08/2019 11:13

@itssquisstella bonus of us having separate computers 😂

5DPO and no new symptoms. Just want it to be next week already!

Only thing I've noticed today is I am RAVENOUS. Ive lost 4kg this month because I've generally had 0 appetite but now I'm so hungry.

@Raizelrea I'm back to work at the end of this week (teacher) so that should keep me busy! I'm the worst for symptom spotting; I keep having to delete my search history so DH doesn't realise quite how obsessive I am 😂

How are you planning to keep distracted?

Raizelrea · 26/08/2019 10:15

@itssquidstella @daisy129437 Also due on the 6th! So far tww has not been too bad as I'm not fully sure when I ovulated, so the first few days I wasn't certain if I even am on the tww yet. I know it's too early to really have symptoms but that's not stopping me from symptom spotting now though 😆

Do you ladies have any distractions planned for your tww?

daisy129437 · 26/08/2019 10:03

@itssquidstella

A bit like you the 1st week isn't too bad but it's the second that's more difficult because I'm constantly desperate to POAS! Blush
I've promised myself I wouldn't test till at least 10/11DPO but knowing me that won't happen and I'll be testing by 8DPO haha

itssquidstella · 26/08/2019 08:14

@daisy129437 hi! I'm also due on the 6th. How are you finding the 2ww? Last month I found the first week worse because realistically I know there's no chance of experiencing symptoms yet - at least during week two you might actually feel things changing!

AliSxo · 26/08/2019 00:50

@daisy129437 Hi!! I'm 6DPO and due AF on 4th September.. exciting times!! X

AliSxo · 26/08/2019 00:49

@TTC1993 sorry to hear about what happened earlier in the year that must of been really shit to go through, sending you love.

I had cramps Friday-Saturday but they've eased off today. How early are you testing? With the FRER test it says 6 days so really that could be Thursday this week for me and now it's technically Monday so quite scary but also exciting xxx

Banoffeepie91 · 25/08/2019 21:59

@Blossomingflower94 I’ve felt a ‘pop’ feeling like that as well! I never knew what it was before but it was on my day of ovulation so makes sense with what your saying!

My boobs are really really sore today, AF due on Thursday so not sure if i’ll test Tuesday or Wednesday or just wait.

Raizelrea · 25/08/2019 21:25

@Blossomingflower94 How interesting! Must be quite reassuring to actually physically feel it, I'd not been paying attention to my body that much until now, so every little cramp makes me think it must mean something now 😁

Blossomingflower94 · 25/08/2019 20:59

@Raizelrea I sounds hilarious but I know what time I ovulated too as I feel the 'pop' of the follicle. Never thought anything of it but apparently my mum was the same!

Hi, fellow testers,
Can I join the wait?
Due AF on the 6th Sept so will be testing around the 4th, too. Currently 2DPO :)

Raizelrea · 25/08/2019 19:56

@TTC1993 Sorry to hear about your MMC, sounds traumatic ☹️ I know you did not want to start your TTC journey that way. At least you know you must be very fertile if you managed to conceived so quickly!

Ditto about the overly relaxed OH, I swear mine forgets we are TTC if I don't remind him 😄

Using Flo as well, I think it's quite good as far as predictions go, though every month can be different so who knows...

Raizelrea · 25/08/2019 19:31

@mrsc1987 Sounds like you're on track to improve health for both you and baby ☺️

@Blossomingflower94 You must be very in tune with your body if you knew which side you ovulated from! I can't even pinpoint the day 😆 Felt very light cramping on Monday and loads of cramping on Thursday so those are the two main suspects.

I'm finding so hard to not symptom spot with every little twinge, even though it's realistically far too early. Feeling extremely bloated today and obviously looking for it to have a hidden meaning, when the most likely explanation is bank holiday overeating 😂

Blossomingflower94 · 25/08/2019 19:09

Hey all ... looking very positive for a lot of you :) Fingers crossed these symptoms keep coming.

I'm only 4DPO and have begun to experience intermittent cramps/stabbing/pulling pain in my lower right abdomen, trying not to read into it too much but this was the side I ovulated from this month!

mrsc1987 · 25/08/2019 17:58

6dpo and my 'symptoms' are a few cramps which tbh i cant say are symptoms i get this in most of my 2ww, nips are a bit sensitive to the touch though which I've only had once back in the first month ttc so may or may not be anything. We are ttc #1 in cycle 6 now im quite over weight so my plan is to focus on making this less of an issue now #dietstartstomorrow

Raizelrea · 25/08/2019 16:32

Hi everyone! I think I am 3 DPO, no real symptoms as of yet apart from feeling exhausted on Friday evening and Saturday morning, but I think that's just the progesterone surge that kicks in with the start of the luteal phase more so than anything. AF is due on 6 September so we shall see.

How is everyone feeling? I'm quite positive about our chances but it's early days for us so won't be devastated if it's not our month.

TTC1993 · 25/08/2019 15:49

@AliSxo I have had cramping also forgot to mention that, but just a couple of times throughout the day for the last 4 days ??

I came off the pill in feb after being on it for 10 years to give myself a break, wasn't TTC and fell pregnant straight away didn't even have time for my first cycle.. went for 12 week scan and had a MMC has to have the operation was not very pleasant. So we waited two cycles and now TTC for the first time so its all new to me i just have to google everything..

How have you been doing things apart from the obvious 😂👏🏽 i'm using flo app to work out my fertile window xxx

AliSxo · 25/08/2019 15:43

@TTC1993 I'm due AF on the Wednesday 4th!! I think the earliest I could test would be the Sunday just before but i might find myself really tempted to do one sooner!!

I've had barley any CM which isn't unusual, I did around ovulation. Only symptom I've had which could be implantation would be cramps and also being more tired.

It's my first cycle trying too! I came off the pill the first weekend in August and had a withdrawal bleed as normal. I'm so hoping I've caught this month but if not it'll be ok 💗 xxxx

TTC1993 · 25/08/2019 15:32

@AliSxo I so hope so but probs unlikely as its my first cycle TTC, i do have sore boobs and stingy nips and my CM is creamy white (SOZ!)

i done a test this morning, but it was negative as expected too soon to test but I ordered them and thought I'll just do one on the off chance 🙈

Will test when AF is due on the 2nd..

When is it AF Is due for you again? Xx

AliSxo · 25/08/2019 14:56

@TTC1993 I think if you've got sore boobs that's a good sign!! If I get that I'll be positive as I never get that normally when waiting for AF, I'm not 5DPO and I had cramps and lower back ache so maybe that's a good sign! I'm really nervous to test as I don't want to be disappointed xxx
