Thanks @Tamalama @mrssunshinexxx i think i will try clear blue next month if this isn't our month though. Positive OPK yesterday so still have my fingers and toes crossed!!!!

Lauralozzle · 29/08/2019 08:39

Hey everyone- sorry to see regulars hop back onto the bus.

So, CD 4 for me. Should be last day of proper AF. Sorry I was away, AF always makes me feel rough on CD 2/3 but I’m much perkier now.

Had an interview yesterday for job I had applied for in another team. Fingers crossed I should hear either way Friday/Monday.

Will start the opks CD10 so I’ve still got a while to go. I’ve been googling (I know, I shouldn’t) and worried I might have low progesterone - my luteal phase is 11/12 days and I spot day before my period. Or I could be panicking over nothing, I’m not sure. If nothing after cycle 6 I might visit doctor (though they might say come back in 6 months, not sure).

Cat028 · 28/08/2019 21:58

Hi all AF got me today so onto the next cycle. Here are my stats

Age 29
TTC #1
Cycle 12
CD 1
AF/BFP 25th Sept.

Delphinidin · 28/08/2019 20:55

Can I join please?! I’m 31 ttc number 2, 6th cycle, due date for testing will be around the 24th of Sept.

Have been using Flo to track periods, ovulation ‘symptoms’ etc over the last year and it tells me I’m meant to ovulate around the 19th day of my cycle. am gradually arming myself with things like ovulation sticks etc, so stop me if I start asking about the purchasing of Ava brackets etc. Grin

Hi everyone, been quite the last few days had alot going on family wise. Going to try our best with SMEP, CD8 is tomorrow so will start then. However going to have funeral some point next week around OD so just going to have to see when that falls bc the last think I want to do afterwards is jump into bed 🙈 think if it doesnt happen this month its fine as alot going on, but had already had a christmas day gender reveal all planned out in my head😂

ChristmasArmadillo · 28/08/2019 17:19

I didn’t ovulate last month at all, I had a cyst instead, so I’m nervous about this cycle; I’m not going to take ov tests as I don’t want to obsess and get stuck in my head. I’ve found that the cheapies work just as well as clear blue though!

mrssunshinexxx · 28/08/2019 12:36

@Tamalama that sounds a good plan I am going to start using mine tomorrow I have 7 left only used 3 last month x

@MrsD0147 Font feel horrible for feeling that way, it's a completely natural reaction to have. People around me seem to be falling pregnant too!

@mrssunshinexxx I use the clearblue 4 day digital ones. Only started using them last month and got my static smiley and ov pains that night. I also used a cheapie to check and that was a dark positive too.

Used cheapies at the beginning of this week which have all been negative. As they start to get faintly darker I use the clearblue ones so I don't miss the surge. I've had watery cm for about a day which is why I caved and used clearblue digital this morning. I have 4 left so I imagine I'll use them every morning as I'm hoping I'll get my static smiley by the weekend..,

mrssunshinexxx · 28/08/2019 11:28

Defo get the clean blue ones I love them @MrsD0147

MrsD0147 · 28/08/2019 11:24

I am thinking of getting the clearblue ones @mrssunshinexxx but i have just been using the little line stick ones since we have been TTC.

mrssunshinexxx · 28/08/2019 11:16

@Tamalama sounds like your body is doing all the right things are you using clear blue ?

What opk do you use @MrsD0147 ? You aren't horrible at all we all feel the same x

OP posts:
MrsD0147 · 28/08/2019 10:59

Hi again @Tamalama I feel blue today! no clue why just feel down about not being pregnant as every seems to have either just given birth or getting pregnant Blush How horrible am i!
How are you? Think i O any day now but using OPKs and my App - last month App was way out from OPKs x

Tamalama · 28/08/2019 10:36

How is everyone today? I've started getting ov pains and some watery cm. I took my clearblue ov year today but got the low O symbol 😕 I'll just keep testing every morning and hopefully I'll see my smiley face soon. Apps predict ov either tomorrow or Friday. Majority of apps say Friday...

november90 · 27/08/2019 21:45

Awww thank you @mrssunshinexxx ! I hope this is your month too 💗

Fredthespider · 27/08/2019 20:19

We're also fans of the 4 day clearblue tests having used them to successfully conceive number 1. I'd been using cheapy tests since May as my periods hadn't come back, but now they have I've switched to clearblue.

ChristmasArmadillo · 27/08/2019 17:24

I will hop on! This will be our first cycle TTC #4. AF due September 25th. Trying to just relax and not temp/chart etc yet since it’s just the beginning and it’s taken a while for us in the past.

november90 · 27/08/2019 17:19

How everyone hope you don't mind me joining in. I'm due af early sept and if no joy this month it'll be mid October so I don't really fit into this chat but I've been on busses with a few of you before and I just wanted to share your BFPs when they happen hopefully this month! :) Hope that's ok xx

mrssunshinexxx · 27/08/2019 17:09

@Sunflower2019 cool I will check that out knowledge is power and all that !
2 months is really early your contraception could still be in your system ? Although I felt exactly the same disappointment every month but it's just a thought xx

OP posts:
Rainey910 · 27/08/2019 16:49

Thanks @mrssunshinexxx and @Lauralozzle I suppose there is nothing to lose with trying OPKs and worth a go if the Clearblue ones are on offer!

Sunflower I am the same, I have somehow become completely obsessed. When we started I was the one reassuring DH saying look it takes ages, up to a year etc. After a few months it does get a bit disheartening ☹️

Sunflower2019 · 27/08/2019 16:30

Intermountainmoms - @mrssunshinexxx it’s a YouTube channel about conceiving etc.. some interesting info on there!!!!
Just ordered a thermometer as thinking if I track my temps I’ll see when I’ve definitely ovulated as done cheaply opks last month and dubious if they were right!
Just want af gone so I can get back to it! My dp is worrying that there’s something wrong with him, but I’ve said 2 months isn’t long! We’ve got some preseed so may try that too!
Where is everyone else upto?
Am I the only one that seems obsessed by all this... feel like I need to take a step back but it’s so hard and harder when you’ve not fallen pregnant straight away! Xx

mrssunshinexxx · 27/08/2019 16:21

@Sophieb15 the bfp are hard to swallow although I am pleased for everyone. I think up until now I have been missing it completely with just going off app predictions for 4 months and dh being away so if it doesn't happen this Month I know I will take it badly.
I feel like even loads of celebs that I follow are announcing pregnancies it's everywhere but it will happen to all of us !
