Testing early Sep (seeking TWW pals)

Just had the dreaded brown spotting so that's me out this month xx

Well af rocked up two days early much to my delight 😂🙄🍩

@MrsMeow2019 I'm having a funny cycle so I just couldn't stop myself. Normally by this point in my cycle my boobs have been hurting for a few days but they only really started to get sore this morning and then today my CM had a yellow tinge to it (I've been on pregnacare conception for almost three months so that's maybe why it's yellow. Now I've got with a splitting headache - trying not to think of it all as symptoms though! xx

I know! I came off pill on 25th May and had withdrawal bleed on the 30th and have had nothing since.

I had a blood test last week and everything is normal so the doctor said to just wait it out and keep trying for the next 2 months.

I done an OPK yesterday at 5pm as i had slight pain in my right ovary area for a couple hours and got a fainter line then done another at 10pm and got a positive. Pictures attached

It was my birthday yesterday too so that made it even better haha x

@Raizelrea It's so hard to be strong and not test even though we know it'll be a BNF isn't it !

I've a load of internet cheapies which I've used , keeping the FRER which I will use if AF is late only, feel less bad peeing on 10p rather than £4 lol!

Finally got a positive OPK yesterday so the TTW begins!!

Far too impatient already haha x

9dpo and I couldn't resist the urge to test today. As expected BFN I'm going to try and hold off for a few more days before I'm tempted again xx

@MrsMeow2019 I know what you mean, I think I'll flip flop on my opinion around early testing each cycle if this is not the one! A part of me thinks that I'll not test early unless there's a specific reason/occassion like the wedding, but then there is the element of thinking whether you can get pregnant at all, and all the second guessing.

I'm actually wondering if there's a chance I had a chemical in April - I had a weirdly heightened sense of smell at the time for a few days, my period was late but lasted 8 or 9 days when it did arrive. We weren't really trying at the time so I only thought to test once my period was late, which came out negative, but now I do wonder...

Hi everyone, hope you are all fine. I had a night out with the girls and was just in a bit of turmoil about how much or whether to drink at all. I had a few and then switched to water in the end. @MrsMeow2019 I was totally going to do a test before my night out but decided not to as I was sure it would be negative at this stage. The TWW is such a hard and long time!!!
@firsttimemum1993 my AF is due 29th so I plan to test fri 30th if it hasn’t arrived. I had no symptoms at all but today I have one really aching boob and the other is tender. I would also say I have been soooo hungry these past few days, like feeling starving. Not sure if that is anything but it’s definitely odd for me. The only other thing is I would often be starting to get wee cramps in the run up to my period and not really got anything. Trying not to get my hopes up though, still got four days until AF due.

@Raizelrea I think (according to Clue) I'm 3-4 DPO, cycles vary by a few days though so I'm due AF next Tue-Thurs. Thinking about testing Sunday but worried about risking a chemical. I wonder if it's better to not know that sort of thing if that makes sense.

I had a really sharp stabbing pain in my right side this morning, but it can't be anything as would be too soon to implant. Too much time over thinking small things 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

@MrsMeow2019 How many DPO are you? I think I had some very mild cramping on Monday and quite a lot of cramping on Thursday so those are my plausible guesses for ovulation... though could have just been miscellaneous cramping haha!

I've been enjoying the sun all weekend, went to the beach and cafes both days so generally lovely. Not drinking at the moment but going to a wedding on Saturday so will test then - so I know what you mean about the preemptive testing before drinking 😁

@firsttimemum1993 Ditto mine is creamy now , was ew on Thursday 🤔. The amount of time I've spent googling pictures of cervical mucus over the last week is quite disturbing 😂

@Raizelrea me too, already wishing the next 7-10 days away. Keep thinking about testing at the weekend and then change my mind to wait for AF.

How do we entertain ourselves during the 2ww? It seems a bit more relaxed as not thinking about getting BDs in or when ovulating but just 'has it happened'

I had a good weekend with some friends, had a few cocktails yum! Did a pg test before even though I knew there's no way it could have been positive 😆🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

So My sex drive was through the roof 🤭 and my CM was how it is described it should be on google.. it has not went a bit creamy is that normal ? 💁🏽‍♀️ never though I'd be discussing my CM online haha 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 xx

@Raizelrea congratulations! I got married this summer too, and I do love a wedding! Will be hard not to drink when I do get pregnant - we've got at least four more in the next nine months!

@itssquidstella All these weddings are making TTC discreetly very difficult! 😁 Thankfully the wedding season is almost over (I'm not really complaining, I do love going to them, and one of them was my own haha)

@firsttimemum1993 Your fertile window is generally the 4-5 days before ovulation (as sperm can live up to 5 days), the day of ovulation and maybe the one after if you're lucky. You count your DPO from the day of ovulation, so if you think your ovulation was the 18th that would make you 5 DPO today. But obviously these are just estimates as you may not have ovulated on the day Flo says, so unless you had any ovulation symptoms to say it was the 18th with confidence, I wouldn't worry about trying to estimate DPO and go by when your AF is due instead for testing. Hope that helps!

Question ladies since I'm just learning about TTC (the shame considering I am a nurse 🤭😂)

The FLO app said my most fertile day was the 18th and im guessing the 16th 17th 18th 19th and 20th was my fertile window??

Also where do I start counting my days past ovulation is at on the 20th or at the start of the fertile window??

That said, I've got a wedding on the 7th so if no AF by then I'll have to test as I want to be able to drink if I'm not pregnant!

@Raizelrea I think I'm just going to hold off and see if AF shows up - I'm not feeling particularly optimistic and a bfn would be more disappointing than my period arriving. Will be trying hard not to symptom spot in the next two weeks!
