Tingly nipples?

Some of you might of already seen my other thread about wanting a baby. I have finally told myself I have to wait until next year.

I finished my period last week which was slighlty not much lighter than normal.

I had heart burn over the weekend, constipation for the last two weeks, tiggly feelings in my stomach and the weirdest thing of all is for the last few days my nipples have started to tingle like they did when i breastfed (let down reflex) when i looked at them they had gone red like the blood had rushed to them.... have i finally gone mad? Im not thinking so much about pregnancy now, could it be im making myself feel the above? I am so tired too - really tired.

I found out I was pregnant with dd1 when I was 7 weeks as I still had a period which was lighter than normal and then the period after that never came.

I am determined to not do a test, i have done about 5 in the last three months and each time was so disappointed.

Is there another reason for me feeling like this?

yup -1st sign tingly nips but can also get it with pmt. And don't worry about the sensible planning/money thing. If we all waited until we could afford it none of us would have kids. The money sorts itself out in time somehow or other.

MammyShirl · 20/09/2004 22:33

right tomorrow i will... i'll keep you posted. the period before i actually think i am and do the test i get so excited and then... its negative.

we'll see

not sure what i want well i know i want a baby but dh wants to wait until next year, i know he would be happy anyway but i would like him to want now as much as me... he forgets he plays a big part in it all

Go on you know you want to.

discoinferno · 20/09/2004 22:27

That was always when I knew I was pg. They felt firmer and more sensitive it that makes sense.

MammyShirl · 20/09/2004 22:26

really... like the let down reflex feeling?

if one more person says yes then i think i will have to buy one more test...

Yes, I have.

MammyShirl · 20/09/2004 22:21

Anyone else had tingly nipples before finding out they were "up da duff!"

just told me dh the responses from my question and he said "oh great... you cant be!"... not the reaction i was after. i want my next baby to be wanted.

i think he would feel slightly embarassed as we are not financially secure right now and our parents would probably think we are being irresponsible which i could see their point...

thanks...still feeding (boobie juice!) but seem to be ovulating and getting regular ish af's so we thought we'd go for it.

you knw that you can get really chaep pgy tests online don't you? (just in case and ready for when you start ttc in earnest!)

MammyShirl · 20/09/2004 21:19

8 mths? Wow!

I did have any broody feelings at that age. I had a hard time getting my dd off the boobs, had to go back to work later (just part time) and then take a month off unpaid. I only managed to make her eat baby rice at 8 mths!

I have just felt like this for about two months. My boobs never normally tingle on periods they do feel tender before but i have never have tingly feelings after.

If pregnancy tests were cheaper I would buy one, i've wasted so much money on them.

Wish you luck in making another little angel

ps- know what you mean abou disappointment. have an 8 month ds and thought I might be preggers but wasn't hence now we are ttc seriously...dh was more disappointed than i was.

Geordie · 20/09/2004 21:12

well... you could just wait for 3-4 weeks and see if you get another period or not??? TBH whenever another one comes along you'll be pleased and you'll get on with it that's the way it goes. If you've just had a P then you could take it as unlkely..the booby things could be P related.

MammyShirl · 20/09/2004 21:07

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just don't want to feel disappointed... again.

Plus we have been so busy the last month or so that we have had hardly any sex. We have just picked up again last night.

Plus we have more my dh decided its best to wait until end of next year before we try...

Plus plus i cant be, just had my period and it lasted 5 days (sometimes can be 7) but then again it was slightly lighter...

... ?

Big Fat Positive- having good blood flow in the boobs is a sign of pregnancy as are the other symptoms you describe. I think you'll probably agonise about it till you do another test...so why not just do one anyway??

MammyShirl · 20/09/2004 20:57

uh whats bfp??? sorry

OP posts:
biketastic · 20/09/2004 20:47

mammyshirl,
I think my friend said this happened to her, and was the reason she did the test and got bfp!
Go on, test!
