Thought the old one was getting a bit full so I'd start a new one. I'll attempt tagging as many as I can

@kiza yep i use the app too although funnily enough i never got a peak when i had my bfp haha - and i tested multiple times a day when the line started getting strong! So as soon as i see an almost peak i know i am due to OV soon

Kiza · 04/11/2019 12:19

@Anny27 yeah I find the opk sticks really helpful, as well as using Femometer for determining the difference between some highs and peak. A near BFP would be a great start to the year also!
@orangeloo @whatsthecraic91 can you imagine the queues outside the shops?! 😆 it would be worse than Black Friday and new year sales rolled into one!

Anny27 · 04/11/2019 10:23

Welcome back @whatsthecraic91 :)

@kiza @orangeloo hope this is your month

I dont think my next fertile window (after the first period after miscarriage) will be untill christmas/the new year so i can hope for a new year bfp!

I have reordered the ovulation sticks (they seem to work well for helping me know when i ovulate and when af will be due!)

orangeloo · 04/11/2019 09:50

@Kiza @whatsthecraic91 imagine if they sold baby dust!! £££ I hope we all get a BFP before Xmas how amazing would that be. Deffo all I want for Xmas!!

Kiza · 04/11/2019 09:47

@whatsthecraic91 loving your enthusiasm!
I have a thing about wanting to give birth before I'm 40 so this month is the last month I can get pregnant for that to happen!! Wish I could bathe in baby dust! 😆

whatsthecraic91 · 04/11/2019 08:24

@Anny27 oh I’m so sorry to hear this, hope you’re keeping okay Flowers

Congrats to all the BFPs I’ve missed!

Well ladies I’m back for Cycle 11!!! The relaxed approach for the last 3 cycles hasn’t worked. DP and I worked our game plan out last night, vitamins, CB digital OPKs, & SMEP, eating well, also going to try DTD in the mornings as we never do and see if it makes a difference. I want to be pregnant for Christmas! I know I sound insane and crazy me is back but this is our last shot before heading to my GP in the new year and want to give it our all!

Cycle 11
Age 28
CD 2
BFP/AF due 2nd Dec

Happy Monday and baby dust to all Grin

MIW01 · 03/11/2019 15:34

Oh just realised a previous post I wrote didn't actually post! How annoying! @Lottiepink I've got low progesterone a d DP has sluggish and a few funny looking swimmers.

Though, having watched the Great Sperm Race made me realise that even the most health batch only 20% of them are any good!

@Larrydavid we're really lucky we find SMEP the most enjoyable bit about TTC! I know it's not so easy for others.

@Lottiepink @Kiza @Anny27 I can't begin to imagine how that sort of loss must feel! Though I know it's quite common 1/4 pregnancies, doesnt make it any less traumatic. My heart goes out to you all.

SunnyFlover · 03/11/2019 14:34

@Anny27 yes, 3rd day overdue now... I will test Tuesday morning ( have no tests left and pharmacies are closed today! )

Anny27 · 03/11/2019 12:43

@sunnyFlover is your period late? I would test again

When i had my bfp i had cramping for the first 2 weeks. But i also get cramping before af....so you never know haha

SunnyFlover · 03/11/2019 12:41

Hi girls,
Currently at 17 DPO , took test at 14DPO - BFN. Haven't tested since. I was feeling mild cramping all week, but yesterday and today I feel a little more pain the right lower abdomen. It's not sensitive to the touch, can't feel anything when touching, it's not sharp, but it's constant.
Did any of you had anything similar..?

Anny27 · 02/11/2019 19:31

Thanks everybody for your lovely messages!

Its so heartbreaking going through this once so my heart goes out to you going through this 3 times @Lozzlepop @kiza

Hope you are all having a nice Saturday. We've just sat down for strictly 💃

MIW01 · 02/11/2019 19:27

So sorry for your loss @Anny27

Lozzlepop · 02/11/2019 17:04

Oh @Anny27 I’m so so sorry to read this lovely! I have experienced this too and it’s just heartbreaking. Be kind to yourself, take all the time you need and allow yourself to feel however you want to feel and please know that it will get better ❤️ I found talking about things helped a lot too! Xx

SunnyFlover · 02/11/2019 13:42

@Lottiepink sorry I was unclear... at 9DPO I had 2 days of very light bleeding ( spotting). Now I am 1 day late for my period ( 15 DPO) . I have used cheap test yesterday and it was BFN. I am just not sure if it was my period at 9DPO or was it implantation and I should be hopeful... all info online is very confusing and sometimes info can suggest both ways. I had it very light. One pad a day, for two days. Definitely different to usual af.

Kiza · 02/11/2019 11:31

@SunnyFlover in my 3 previous pregnancies I didn't have any symptoms for 2 of them and for 1 of them I had really sore boobs. Sometimes it's really hard to spot symptoms as they can be so similar to AF. As the other ladies have said it's still early days, try to keep yourself occupied with other things- easier said than done though 😄

CD16 and just got +opk (bit late for me but at least it's here!) still cracking on with SMEP- thank goodness it's the weekend, makes it a bit easier!

Lottiepink · 02/11/2019 10:44

@orangeloo I did think that too, but the doc said about doing it just on day 21, as it happens by the time they managed to get the blood from me it was 7dpo for me. So nerve wracking though!

I might give SMEP a go again next cycle, we done it a few times previously and then just done it when we wanted but still 3-4 times a week.

@MIW01 sorry for the confusion from me, but are you under going tests at the moment? I'm sorry if You've already said etc, with me taking time off im not up to date!

@Anny27 aww I'm so sorry to read that, life's so cruel sometimes x

@SunnyFlover welcome 😊 I've never had a BFP either but 9dpo is very early to get a positive.. will keep my fingers crossed for you

orangeloo · 01/11/2019 14:15

@SunnyFlover hi and welcome. I've never had a BFP so I really can't say but you're just gonna have to wait it out and test again if no AF today 9DPO is still early. FX for you.

SunnyFlover · 01/11/2019 12:46

Hi ladies, can I join? New to TTC world...
I am 32, been trying last 2 months.
I have stopped BC pills 3 months ago, so my cycle is still all over the place, but I am logging every single detail on Flo app. So... this month we have finally caught Ovulation (clear clue) on the day 25 of my cycle. Day 34-36 ( 9DPO) I had a very light spotting ( some would say bleeding) but not enough to call is a period ( for sure...). Period should be due today according to my app calculations. Every day since, I have been testing with high sensitivity as well as cheap pregnancy tests, but no positive. Yesterday clear blue digital strips inside had two faint blue result lines with darker line on the edge, but test itself said "not pregnant". I keep hoping ...
On a side note- since the ovulation and especially last few days I was constantly feeling some sort of mild soft cramping and pulling in my lower abdomen, been having bad headache last few days and feeling a bit lightheaded. I might be just trying to find these symptoms ( when one wishes for something- it "appears"..). Also, last few days I had a creamy liquid soap like discharge and I can see a little pink in it at times too. Sorry for the visual description...

Can you share if you recognise this in your experience and if it led to a pregnancy?? Please 🌻

orangeloo · 01/11/2019 12:38

@Anny27 so sorry to hear this. Be kind to yourselves. X

Kiza · 01/11/2019 11:39

@Anny27 so sorry to hear about your loss, hope you and your partner are doing as well as can be expected. It's such a heart wrenching journey x

Anny27 · 01/11/2019 11:00

Hi ladies, looks like i will be rejoining the thread unfortunatley as i'm going to miscarry. Currently 9+5 but baby only 6 weeks with no heartbeat. Wont be ttc for a month or 2 but back on this crazy journey with you ladies xx

orangeloo · 01/11/2019 09:43

It's possible you've missed it but it could just be later @Kiza I would keep testing and keep an eye on your cm. FWIW I ovulate CD 16-19.

Kiza · 01/11/2019 07:14

Thanks @orangeloo going to watch that this weekend.
I'm a bit frustrated as not sure if I've missed my LH surge or it's late?
I normally get +opk cd13/14 and lots of ewcm days leading up to and a couple of days after.
However now on CD15, not +opk, very little ewcm and my cervix is soft and open but only medium length up rather than really high where it usually is?
Do you think I missed it?
Usually my +opk lasts a couple of days also...

MIW01 · 31/10/2019 19:26

Thanks @orangeloo I think I've watched this already a while ago and you're absolutely right and logically I know there's only 30% chance of conceiving even if timing is as perfect as possible!

But then I read about every other bigger getting prefers 1st time they do SMEP and I think ugh, what's going on?! I think I'm more anxious cause I know after our results we'll both find it more difficult to conceive.

I'm being very impatient which I am aware of but I don't like waiting for things at the best of times! Waiting triggers my anxiety. Which is not good cause stress won't help my progesterone levels!

Though when I think logically it would be more sensible not to get pregnant asap as we have big and expensive renovation plans for the house!

Larrydavid · 31/10/2019 16:23

@MIW01 I was convinced there was something wrong with me - all the stuff on SMEP kinda lets you believe that. I looked so hard on google for "smep fails" and couldn't find anyone saying that it had just taken a few attempts - it was always fall pregnant immediately or there's a problem. It's still early days for me but it did happen. Best of luck with it - I love my partner very much but it's definitely hard work 😂💛
