@Kiza and @Anny27 thank you, I will definitely get that app. I have bought both cheap OPKs and also the clear blue ones. Due to the long cycles I wondered whether to start with the cheap and move to clear blue when it seems I’m getting nearer ovulation. I haven’t tried temping but I don’t sleep well and have to get up in the night so I’m not sure it would be useful for me. I am a bit worried about not ovulating after so long on the pill though (15 years)! I’m now 31 ttc baby no 1 x

@Anny27 I know, it's been a game changer for me as I was sometimes mis reading a strong high for peak or stopping taking opks when I did (or thought I got a peak) and now I realise that I can sometimes get a peak 2 days in a row 🤷🏼‍♀️
I wish I could temp but I get up too many times in the night to pee and I'm rubbish at remembering to take things 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Smwh1 welcome :) when is AF due? I am currently 6dpo on cycle 3

@kiza i agree - femometer app is sooo good to tell when its your peak OPK!

@Anny27 a trigger shot is a shot of hCG to induce ovulation.

I ovulate fine, but I only have one tube, so they're making sure we get at least one or two eggs on the good side each month.

I take fsh injections until the trigger shot and then have (extremely romantic) timed intercourse after the trigger.

If I'm not pregnant by my birthday in January, we'll try ivf. I had one chemical pregnancy on cycle 12, so at least we know the tube is functioning!

@Sunshine8888 if you do decide to use opk someone on here a while back mentioned an app called Femometer where you take a photo of each opk and it rates it high/low/peak- it's helped me out loads.

Hey! Is it ok if I join? I'm TTC number 1, cycle 3, age 29 (30 next month!)

I've been Google obsessed trying to work out any potential symptoms 😂 but it's not doing me any good! Thought it was better to start sharing with other people rather than keep going over it all in my head. I didn't think this would be such an emotional process!

@Sunshine8888 OPKs are really useful:) have you considered temping so that you can know for sure that you have ovulated?

Thanks for the new thread. I’ve been reading all posts but not actively posting. I’ve been struggling due to long cycles. Last one was 45 days, now on CD33 and pretty sure I only just ovulated as had EWCM Friday - Sunday. Now got horrible pain in my boobs and stabbing pains down below. It’s all horribly confusing! I’ve just bought some OPKs for next cycle as I’m not coping with not knowing what’s going on and gutted I missed days of my fertile weekend not realising ☹️

How is everyone? I'm off work for a week soon, very excited. If I'm away from people I don't have to worry about slipping up and telling people. It still feels so surreal.

I'm 31, it was cycle 2 I guess, but we paused for 3 months between 1 & 2
