@cupcakesandglitter I will hold off. It could be AF, but that would mean a 9 day luteal phase which never happens to me. Pretty sure of when I ovulated because of scans.

@Whatnext11 OPKs can be a bit tricky. I find the cheap ones easier, but you'll find whatever works for you.

@ValidUser FWIW, I tested the day after spotting ended (started on Tuesday, I tested on sat) and had a very clear line - id maybe try hold off on testing because if it's implantation you'll have a clear answer in a few days

@validuser, thank you for the welcome! I am in CD13 which by pure coincidence is when clearblue says I should test, I got a circle rather than smiley face, but happy that I figured out how to do the test etc. I do have some cheapy ones too but tried one and could see no lines at all, never mind seeing two! I'm sure I'll get the hang of it!

Thanks @cupcakesandglitter. Mines between brown and pinky red, but not the same consistency or colour as AF. We shall see!

@ValidUser I have pre-AF spotting BUT I did have implantation spotting - it started a few days before my pre-AF spotting would've and lasted four days, it was brown and super light (only when I wiped) but came with severe cramping but I know not everyone gets cramping x

Hi, I'd like to join the thread. It's been a long journey already for various reasons but just starting now with tracking etc. First ovulation test done tonight while OH is out so I can get the hang of it!

Ava is usually fairly good and says it's not a thing.

@ValidUser - I’m dubious about it, but for what it’s worth, I’ve never had LP spotting and I had an implantation bleed that was light, brown spotting.
I did a load of reading too (as you do!) and it seems to be more of a hormonal bleed when you implant and it’s usually around the time of AF, I guess because your hormone levels aren’t high enough yet?

@ELW85 it's brownish and very light. But when I read around it seems that the existence of implantation bleeding is controversial.

Can anyone here without general luteal phase spotting confirm its existence? 🔍

@ValidUser since I came off the pill a year ago I've been clockwork like you maybe late but never early! It really threw me and now ov being late I give up lol

Is it properly af or just light? X

@MrsH497 the thing is, in a year and a bit of tracking, I've never been early. One or two lates, but never early. Sick of it! 😂

Hi I'm joining this thread - am on a couple of others but thought this also relevant to me . TTC #1, 3rd cycle. Age 33. Due to O next week I think ... have started using OPKs today to try and catch it. Would be great to conceive this month or next... 🤞

@ValidUser aw lovely I totally get that feeling of frustration and annoyance when it seems like af is early. I still don't know why the last couple of months have been weird for me I've not changed anything.

Maybe give it a couple of days, see how the bleeding is if it's not heavy then test again?

@MrsH497 I suppose it could be. I haven't had any spotting since before my operation. I've read in some places that implantation bleeding is a myth, so I'm a bit confused!
