Thought the old one was getting a bit full so I'd start a new one. I'll attempt tagging as many as I can

@Lozzlepop over dinner, made a Ramen and got some fortune cookies ( tinkered with them before serving - inserted my own message...) . He was over the moon ... but we both still can't believe it to be honest ☺️🌻 Hope all goes well and it progresses nicely...🙏🏼

Wish the BFP to all here ❤️

@Lozzlepop that's lovely that it's brought you closer as a couple, as it can be such an emotional rollercoaster at times. Mini break sounds lovely 😊

@timswifey yep good plan to take it easy the first month :D hopefully as you havent been taking pill for too long it wont have too much of an affect!

SunnyFlover · 07/11/2019 14:33

So ladies, patience did the thing... FRER test gave me positive this morning. Trying not to freak out... Can't wait to tell my partner.

Thank you all for the support ! Hope it will all be well and progressing... 🌻

Lozzlepop · 07/11/2019 09:21

@Anny27 I had to make an appointment to go in and take the medication, I had the type where you dissolve it under your tongue so had to wait roughly 30 mins while it dissolved before i was discharged and got sent home with painkillers. Things started to take effect properly about 3 hours later, the majority of the bleeding was over within about 12 hours however there was some lighter bleeding for a few days after. I then had to go back for a scan to make sure everything has passed successfully, which it had.

timswifey · 06/11/2019 21:37

Oh @Anny27 how awful. My sister had a similar situation this year and it was no walk in the park, physically or emotionally. Let's hope things move forward efficiently.

We'll take it easy this month as I'm freshly off the pill so it might be a while before my regular cycle returns - although it may not be too bad as I only went on the pill so as to avoid evil AF on my wedding day (August) or during the honeymoon (September).

Anny27 · 06/11/2019 20:09

@kiza i have an appointment on friday so luckily not too long to wait!

@Lozzlepop i am toying between the two not sure which option i would chose. What was involved in the medication option e.g. how long did the bleeding last?

Lozzlepop · 06/11/2019 15:38

@Kiza ahh the dreaded TWW, I hope it goes quickly and brings good news for you lovely! I always found DTD in the days before to be successful so I wouldn't worry too much about the three days in a row!

@Anny27 I found the waiting the hardest bit, like you say you are in limbo with your body still behaving as if you are pregnant. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable, I chose the medication as I have a phobia of hospitals (silly I know and its not any better now 🙈) Yes i am hoping that the tests will give us answers, it is frustrating but we are trying to make the most of it, we have spent most of the year in limbo so we have booked a mini break and are chatting through redecorating etc plus everything we have been through has made us a stronger couple ❤️

Kiza · 06/11/2019 14:46

@Anny27 oh it's so bloody awful that we go through such difficult experiences on this journey, when are next in contact with the clinic to discuss the potential operation?
I'll try my hardest to wait until AF is due as I'm one of those where I'd rather see blood than a stark white line.

Anny27 · 06/11/2019 14:29

Afternoon everyone :) feeling pretty down at the moment if i'm honest. I think at my scan on friday i just want the surgery done asap now as feel like i am in such a limbo period of waiting for miscarriage to happen but still feeling pregnant and having all the symptoms:(

@kiza will you wait till AF is due to test? I'm not a super early tester as i hate the "is it isnt it" tortue of line squinting haha. But i do usually test 12dpo ish

@Lozzlepop ah thats frustrating not being able to ttc but hopefully the tests theydo are productive!

@SunnyFlover fingers crossed you know either way soon! Its tortue waiting

@timswifey are you goingto use ovulation sticks or take it easy thr first month?

timswifey · 06/11/2019 09:13

@SunnyFlover hope you get to the bottom of what's going on. When something major has happened to me (a death in the family) AF was very late. I suppose it's a waiting game at this point?

@Kiza ahh that makes more sense, I was thinking isn't CD1 just day one of AF lol

Kiza · 06/11/2019 08:54

@Lozzlepop bugger I meant I'm 3/4 DPO not Cd 🤦🏼‍♀️ so just finished our attempt at SMEP but couldn't complete the 3 days in a row.

Lozzlepop · 06/11/2019 08:51

Morning ladies, Happy Wednesday- the weekend is in sight!

@Kiza are you doing SMEP this month? Theres just no point in commuting an hour to work to do the same back to collect the car to drive for 30 mins lol. Fingers crossed ☺️

@SunnyFlover Hmm I'm not really sure, any implantation bleeding i have had has either been a tiny tinge of pink or more like brown. Unless AF arrived early and was just really short/light but it doesn't sound like that at all.

SunnyFlover · 05/11/2019 20:03

@Lozzlepop stress was/is not more than usual...
At 9/10 DPO I had a 2 day spotting/ very light bleeding. Totally odd start as well as ending of it. Absolutely not like my periods. So hoping it was implantation. But it was all shades or red as well as bright red ( which worries me as most info would indicate that implantation is NOT bright red blood) . Confused.com ... So now 19/20 DPO and have no clue what is going on, mild cramping for nearly 2 weeks ... No af , no BFP

Kiza · 05/11/2019 19:49

@Lozzlepop I'm cd3/4 (not 100% sure given the difference between temp and opk). That's good that you're able to work from home, and really hope you get either a letter or answer to your phone call soon.

Lozzlepop · 05/11/2019 16:15

@SunnyFlover thats really good that you are in-tune with your body! I usually get Ovulation pains so I can marry that up with my OPKs but I usually do the same as you and test the day after just to make sure! Have you had any stresses which may cause AF to be late? Just trying to cover all bases.

SunnyFlover · 05/11/2019 16:11

@Lozzlepop, I was extremely aware of the differences in my body after coming off contraception and used FLO app to track the cycle. Lucky me I just felt the day of ovulation ( few failed CB digital ovulation tests were taken in the learning process...💸💸💸) but that day when I truly believed I was ovulating- little smiley face came up! So I also did few cheap tests and the result line was much much darker than the control line. So I assumed it happened then. Next day the line started to fade away immediately.

This was my first ever ovulation that I managed to "catch".
Clear blue ovulation tests are soooo expensive! But in my case it was so worth it 🙈

Lozzlepop · 05/11/2019 16:03

@SunnyFlover how are you tracking OV? Is there a chance you could have OVd later than usual so AF/BFP still not due yet? Are you testing using FMU and FRER? Try and hold off another day or so and test again if no sign of AF

@Kiza should be around about the same time as us then. Fingers crossed that this is your month, what CD are you? Its not such a bad journey from where we live so I would either take the whole day or a half day and WFH depending on the appointment times.

@ttciom hello and welcome. So sorry to hear about your MC, a few of us ladies have experienced losses so know how hard it is. 9DPO is still early to test, did you have any of the above symptoms with your previous BFP? Try and hold off another couple of days and test again with a FRER, fingers crossed!

ttciom · 05/11/2019 15:06

Hi all, brand new here and looking for a bit of reassurance/advice/honesty!
It's our 3rd month TTC (I'm 26 hubby is 28), we got a BFP the 1st month but unfortunately ended in a miscarriage at 5 weeks.
Last months cycle was heavier than usual - as to be expected & this months is due in 6 days (according to Flo). I took a test this morning (9DPO) as I've been having some symptoms but it was a BFN. My symptoms are:
Cramping - been cramping and having twinges since ovulation~
Nausea - small waves off an on
Veiny Boobs
Indigestion - never suffer with this, but the past 3 days non-stop
Exhaustion
Bloating
Am I just being a crazy symptom spotter or do you think we have a chance this month?

Kiza · 05/11/2019 14:39

@Lozzlepop calling sounds like a good idea especially with that epic journey you have to make, our appointment isn't until early Dec so still have this month to see if we get our BFP!

Welcome @timswifey and @SunnyFlover
@MIW01 wish I had your energy 😊

@Anny27 sorry to hear you may have to have the surgery, unfortunately the same happened to me twice and makes the mc more prolonged as I felt I couldn't grieve fully until it was all over. Lots of love and care your way

SunnyFlover · 05/11/2019 14:29

@Lozzlepop I am 19/20 DPO, 6 days late for the AF... Tested yesterday morning - negative. Decided not to test today... Maybe ai can hold of to not testing tomorrow...

I am just going by my work colleagues example as she was receiving negatives all up until week 7... Baby is now born, healthy and beautiful.

Lozzlepop · 05/11/2019 13:40

@orangeloo Yeah its usually those last 3 days that do it for me I'm like - I AM DONE 😂 Oooh good luck for the acupuncture session, I have heard really good things! I have given up counting cycles as I am not sure if it applies to our situation 🤷🏽‍♀️I know we can get pregnant I just cant stay pregnant. Deffo hold of testing until AF is late, especially as so many early pregnancy symptoms are like AF symptoms.

I watched a really interesting documentary on IVF last night, amazing what goes into it, terrifying but amazing. It was on iPlayer and is called Making Babies- not sure if its only available in Scotland though.
