Thought the old one was getting a bit full so I'd start a new one. I'll attempt tagging as many as I can

@Blossomingflower94 yeah I heard that too which is a relief, @sunshine it's a bit different with an introverted uterus as our cervix sits differently to a normal one. Maybe I just need to check every day to get used to mine 🤷🏼‍♀️

@ValidUser oh bugger that definitely sounds like AF, how strange that it came so early but was also super short?

itssquidstella · 01/09/2019 22:05

Hi @MrsH497 I'm losing hope even though I'm only 10dpo. I just want it to be Friday so I know for sure that I'm out!

Motherofkittens28 · 01/09/2019 22:03

Hey @MrsH497, I'm feeling a bit low today. My impatience got the better of me and I did another test, which was negative. It's still technically early so it could be wrong but we will see. I had a little cry about it. AF is due on Saturday, although last month I had tiny bits of spotting from the Thursday. I guess we'll see at the end of this week. I'm never late so if AF hasn't arrived by Sunday I'll test again. Hope everyone else is doing ok!

MrsH497 · 01/09/2019 20:19

How is everyone this evening? Had good weekends?
I'm crampy this evening but as I have no idea what DPO I am whether I did ovulate or not it's a guessing game. AF technically due Saturday but if I ovulated late might be a few days later. Who knows lol

@kiza it got heavier and now seems to have stopped after only 3 days. AF would have been due today or tomorrow.

Clots and all, so definitely don't think it was anything other than AF. Just a really strange one!

Sunshine8888 · 01/09/2019 17:43

@Anny27 so I had super high LH levels on cycle day 40 (on the ferometer app it was at peak 200). It turned out I was actually pregnant. Apparently ovulation sticks can’t really differentiate between LH and HCG. I know you said you have AF atm though so that is a bit odd! Although I think after a CP it can take a while for HCG levels to drop - perhaps this is affecting your LH results?

@Kiza I was trying to do this! I would say low is like first knuckle, medium second and high when you can barely reach it

Blossomingflower94 · 01/09/2019 17:13

@Kiza I have a retroverted uterus but have never attempted to feel for cervix position. As far as I know it doesn't affect fertility.

Kiza · 01/09/2019 17:05

@ValidUser really? I think with mine being introverted I can locate it easily... however doctors struggle during smears!
How's the bleeding, has it eased up or gotten heavier?

ValidUser · 01/09/2019 13:48

@Kiza in spite of knowing the anatomy well, I often can't locate mine with my hand.

So I definitely have an early AF. Wondering if I did have another chemical.

Might ask about going on progesterone this month. LP was never that short before.

Kiza · 01/09/2019 13:16

Do any of you ladies track your cervical positioning? And if so do any of you have a tilted uterus? I'm beginning to try and track but everything that's written online about the variations of cervical positioning is based on a standard front tilted uterus. 🤷🏼‍♀️
So what is high/low based on finger knuckles doesn't necessarily apply to me as mine sits differently... just wondered if there's someone on here in a similar boat?

flossy12 · 31/08/2019 23:43

@Absa poor little fellas 😅😅

Absa · 31/08/2019 23:27

Wow... this shows what a mission fertilising an egg is!!

Kiza · 31/08/2019 22:38

@Anny27 we sometimes have a slightly elevated LH during our menstrual cycle and then it dips and then rises again to a peak during ovulation. I've been tracking my opks since CD 3 for the last 3 cycles and have seen this trend happen for me each time now. The Femometer app helps to determine the difference between high and peak with numerical readings.

@MrsH497 glad you had a lovely time away and enjoyed your freebie from the wedding venue. Sounds like it was just what you needed!

@Larrydavid A bird pooped on your head?! OMG😳🤦🏼‍♀️ I must've missed that chat?!

flossy12 · 31/08/2019 22:01

@Motherofkittens28 maybe! I don't normally get cramps until the day of AF and then writhing 20 mins I will start to bleed so I've no idea what's going on, I'm charting everything too 😅

Robbo93 · 31/08/2019 21:37

Hi 👋
Can I join please?

I'm 25 TTC#1 and feeling slightly disheartened that it hasn't happened yet.
I came off the pill in January and have had bleeds every month.

Just need some moral support really as I'm starting to doubt whether it will ever happen xx

Blossomingflower94 · 31/08/2019 21:23

@larrydavid I've had to create a new thread with photos as it won't let me post on here. It's called 'am I seeing things'

Motherofkittens28 · 31/08/2019 20:53

@flossy12 I had what I can only assume was implantation cramping earlier this month and then started getting light cramps about 5 days after, well over a week before AF is due. Maybe it's just AF gearing up early, I'm making sure I write it all down so if I'm trying again next cycle I remember what a "normal" month felt like

Motherofkittens28 · 31/08/2019 20:51

@Anny27, our bodies change it up I think. I vary between day 8 and day 14 and it doesn't change the overall length of my cycle. A friend of mine ovoluates as soon as she finishes her period. All makes it harder to catch it!

flossy12 · 31/08/2019 20:33

I've had some cramping again today it's on and off but it isn't as intense as period cramps, I'm trying not to over think here but read that implantation cramps normally last between 1 and 3 days, has anyone had this?

flossy12 · 31/08/2019 20:30

@Anny27 thank you!! Maybe just DTD to cover yourself 😅 xx

Anny27 · 31/08/2019 19:35

@Motherofkittens28 fingers crossed for you! The wait is the worst part. Haha i constantly looking and feeling my boobs in the tww 🤣

@larrydavid have a lovely meal! Think you have the best attitude this month :D

@flossy12 fingers crossed!!

@Blossomingflower94 faint line sounds promissing:D let us know when you retest

@fro93 welcome to the group :D DTD every other day sounds like a good chance :)

@MrsH497 thats really awesome that your wedding venue gave you a free stay!

Really really strange....i took an LH test randomly today on cycle day 5 and it is a high reading. I dont know if people ovulate early after a chemical pregnancy???
Not even finished my period properly yet so usually a high reading means i will ovulate in a few days so that would be like cycle day 8!!! Very strange

Fro93 · 31/08/2019 17:59

Hello I’m new here- hope you don’t mind me joining you all!

TTC #1, I have PCOS and have no idea what my cycle length is as so irregular. Doing Ovulation tests every day but so draining!

Fingers crossed our new method of DTD every other day will work?

Was discharged from gynae this week as my pelvic pain (unrelated to the PCOS) is now manageable... hoping that’s a step in the right direction but so impatient! Wanting a BFP before Christmas 🤞🤞🤞

Larrydavid · 31/08/2019 17:26

@Anny27 I'm in tww. Cycle day 7-9 (not entirely convinced I know!) - I'm not going to test this month, guess I'll know in a week either way. I'm also ignoring any 'symptoms' as I've had cramps and nausea on the last couple of months and it's just what seems to happen for me before AF. I guess I've had the coil for so long I can barely remember what's normal! Hope your tww is chilled!

@ValidUser Sorry your body is doing odd cycles. Enjoy the cats and time with DH.

@Blossomingflower94 Are you able to post a pic? Maybe second opinions will help?

Thanks to everyone who said the bird shitting on my head was good luck 😂😂 fingers crossed something good comes of it. I didn't feel too lucky when it happened!

I'm heading out to a nice restaurant tonight - going to enjoy some good food and a glass of wine! Hope everyone else has a nice evening planned 💛

Blossomingflower94 · 31/08/2019 17:08

Feeling in limbo today. Took a test this AM and I thought I saw a faint line. I think however it was just wishful thinking 🙈

Going to test again tomorrow morning with a test from work (I work in a hospital)

Just got to get this night shift over with. I feel so tired/sick/headachy I think im coming down with something 😩

MrsH497 · 31/08/2019 17:05

Well we had a lovely stay at our wedding venue, too much food and drink and paying for it today so tired and slightly dodgy tum. No idea whether I actually ovulated or not so will just wait and see when af turns up. Hope you're all having lovely Saturdays. Anyone due to test?
