Thought the old one was getting a bit full so I'd start a new one. I'll attempt tagging as many as I can

Thank you so much @ValidUser keeping everything crossed for you 🥰 still doesn't feel at all real.

@MotherOfShihTzus 100% there's hope for everyone I believe. I'm cautious at the moment

I'm back lurking after some time away and happy to see you've got your BFp @MrsH497 :) there is Hope!! I'm now in the fertility test phase and on cycle 19. Potentially have a fibroid so hoping sorting that will get my Bfp. Great to see some good news!

Hi everyone so AF finally arrived after 52 days. I usually have a 32 day cycle. I was kind of relieved that we can just start again with a new cycle. It turns out that I ovulated really late on CD38 so we had no chance this cycle as we had stopped DTD by that point. I’ve learnt not to stop DTD even if I think I’m out of the fertile week.

Also by CD 52 I thought sod this I’m having a drink. Within an hour AF arrived!

Annoyingly on CD38 I suddenly felt like we should DTD but we didn’t. I should have listened to my body.

Currently on CD6 and preparing to start again.

@MrsH497 congratulations! X

MrsH497 · 12/09/2019 12:10

@Lozzlepop thank you lovely. Honestly not too bad at all almost don't believe I am pregnant at all! Being positive that this will stick this time. Wasn't actually expecting the digital to show up - that was with evening pee as well! How are you?

@MrsH497 what a beautiful sight to log on to. So happy for you 🥰

Kiza · 11/09/2019 22:08

@Whatnext11 yeah is hard to pinpoint the exact date for the blood tests if your cycles aren't 100% regular (which mine aren't, although recent Accupuncture seems to be improving that).
Your insemination method sounds difficult, and I can imagine you feeling gutted if you're putting in that much work only to discover you perhaps didn't ovulate?

Hopefully your tests next month may be a bit more accurate and give a more hopeful picture?

Whatnext11 · 11/09/2019 21:35

@ELW85 thank you for taking a look, that's very kind. I hadn't seen the links to those charts before. I'm still confused but I think settled down enough that I'm not panicking. I've been better more recently at taking temp every day when previously I'd forgotten once or twice. Will try to put it out my mind a bit but still feel a bit crazy with symptom spotting in 2WW!

Whatnext11 · 11/09/2019 21:32

Oops that should read not great with blood!

Whatnext11 · 11/09/2019 21:31

@kiza, ah that's good, I have a buddy!
Our situation is unusual as we are needing to use a home insemination method, or an insemination at hospital. So this is the first month we have tried the home insemination. Really would be gutted if I didn't ovulate as it was hard DTD at the right time, figuring it out etc. I am still not sure I didn't ovulate TBH - as the blood test was on ovulation day? Whereas yours sounds like the right day with it being tomorrow.
The GP just said she wanted 2 lots of 21 day bloods and she would refer me to the pre conception clinic. She sort of implied she wouldn't need to see me again then. I should have asked what the wait is. I think it's a pre conception clinic rather than fertility due to our situation. TBH I'd rather go there than GP as they should be the experts.
@kiza, hope the rest itself is fine, I'm big great with blood but I didn't look and she was great.

Kiza · 11/09/2019 21:10

@MrsH497 oh wow- great news! Congrats to you both 🤦🏼‍♀️
@Whatnext11 I've got my blood tests tomorrow and like you didn't realise you can get Ewcm and peak readings and still not ovulate?!
Other than testing again next month what did the GP say was the next stage for you?
Think you and I have really similar cycles as I'm 7DPO

ELW85 · 11/09/2019 19:51

@Whatnext11 - I don’t want to give you false hope, but progesterone is what causes the temperature shift. If your shift is sustained, it would still be indicative of ovulation,
You can still get an LH surge (what OPKs are based on) without ovulating, but when progesterone fails, temperatures hover very low to the cover line, and an anovulatory cycle looks like a mountain range (no temp shift, loads of peaks and troughs).
Here’s a link to example charts: www.ovagraph.com/chart-gallery

Clearly though, I’m not a doctor, but it’s good that your doc is retesting you!

@MrsH497 omg!!!! Huge huge congratulations, I'm so over the moon for you ❤️❤️ xx

Whatnext11 · 11/09/2019 18:43

You ladies are so lovely!
I think I have attached my chart. I was feeling pleased as I was feeling relatively 'normal' as clearblue etc seemed straightforward and things haven't been straightforward for a long time. This is cycle 1 TTC for me but in reality we've had to wait years to start TTC.
Hoping it was just a test at the wrong time of the month.

@MrsH497 aww congratulations 😊 I will keep my fingers crossed for you🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Whatnext11 so sorry to hear your results weren't what you were hoping for, hopefully it is that they have the dates wrong for you possibly? Do you have a pic of your temp charts for the month?

MrsH497 · 11/09/2019 17:58

@Anny27 yes and explained all the different sensitivities of the tests and that as I didn't know when AF was due and it was an afternoon wee that it was a good line and bloody good for a digital!

@ELW85 thank you so much lovely I'm an emotional wreck! Just need this to stick!

@Sunshine8888 thank you! I'm in total shock

@Whatnext11 thank you Hun

@Anny27 thank you. Very glad of these forums!

Anny27 · 11/09/2019 17:41

@whatnext11 sorry i dont have any experience in that but hope you get your answers 🤞

@MrsH497 congratulations lovely 💚💚 have you told DH?

Whatnext11 · 11/09/2019 17:35

@MrsH496 wow!!! That's amazing!

@ELW85 thank you, I felt better once I had written it all down. Bit of a shock really. The Dr did want two sets of bloods so need to book in again, and I'll make sure I'm happier with the date. Also shocked as I am symptom spotting like mad.
I did get a peak reading on clearblue, and temps seemed to fluctuate as they should so clinging onto that a bit.

Sunshine8888 · 11/09/2019 17:10

@MrsH497 that’s such amazing news! Congrats 💕🎉👶🏼 Xx
