Thought the old one was getting a bit full so I'd start a new one. I'll attempt tagging as many as I can

@MrsEG aww little baby twin brothers. That's wonderful. (Girls would be too, of course!)

@starkid thinking of you. X

We're taking a month off. I have a few investigations tomorrow after my third chemical pregnancy. Hoping we either find something to fix or everything is ok!

MIW01 · 01/10/2019 21:36

Sorry to hear that @starkid Nother nature is so cruel sometimes! Hope the tests allow you to move forward.

Kiza · 01/10/2019 21:35

@starkid sorry to hear AF arrived, so frustrating when you think your body is trying to tell you something else!
I'm currently chasing down our GP for the last week as for some bizarre reason he's referred me to gynaecology when my CD21 results came back fine but hasn't done anything about my partners issues with his Semen Analysis results?! He said he was referring us to the local fertility clinic but I've called them and they don't have a referral for us. Grrr, it's stressful enough without GP's messing up referrals!

starkid · 01/10/2019 21:29

Yeah AF arrived this morning in the end, right as I was about to do a test! Least I didn't waste it.
Shouldn't have gotten my hopes up symptom spotting :( So am now in the process of booking in the HSG test on cycle day 7-10 if possible with cycle, and also a progesterone test on cycle day 21. Will get there in the end! Thanks guys

Kiza · 01/10/2019 21:16

@starkid sorry to hear you've been feeling miserable, completely understandable though after so long of trying. How are you feeling today? Did AF arrive?

MIW01 · 30/09/2019 21:20

Hello @starkid sorry to hear you've not been feeling great. It's so easy to symptom spot and no matter how much we tell ourselves not to, we just can't help ourselves! That being said, I've heard plenty of stories where couples go for testing, which relieves the stress and then find themselves falling pregnant! Hopefully the tests are helpful. This month is cycle 4 for me and I'm already feeling disheartened, I can't imagine 15 months! I really empathise.

starkid · 30/09/2019 07:56

Hi everyone, so I've been gone from this thread for a couple of months as I'm on cycle 15 and was feeling rather miserable. I still recognise a few of the names tagged on the first post though! I've not read any recent posts but wanted to pop in!
I had my fertility consultation Friday and am getting booked in for a HSG (dye test) and second blood test for progesterone on cd21. However am due on today and feel a bit odd/different to normal for this part of the cycle!
My nipples keep tingling/prickling which doesn't normally happen pre-af for me, usually just sore/heavy boobs. My mind has now gone into overdrive and am picking up all sorts of other symptoms too! Help!! 😲Shock

Lozzlepop · 29/09/2019 16:09

AF has arrived ☺️ Can actually say I am pleased for once 😂

MIW01 · 28/09/2019 22:35

So sorry @ELW85 I just realised I tagged wrong person in previous post! I'm meant @MrsEG of course!

MIW01 · 28/09/2019 22:31

Congratulations @ELW85 so happy to hear this. Hope it is all ticking along as well as can be expected.

Thanks for sharing @Kiza been doing a bit of research about sperm quality and lots of focus on improving diet and reducing stress. Not rocket science!

ELW85 · 28/09/2019 15:51

@Anny27 - it definitely does feel super slow in the first tri to be fair! I’d like to say it quickens up but I’m still waiting 😂

@Larrydavid - that’s so odd! At least there’s a shift though which is great news!

Larrydavid · 28/09/2019 14:06

@ELW85 oh no - my chart has moved ov to day 17 - which definitely means I'm out this month as I was on a work trip! It makes more sense that this was the day. This whole process can be so frustrating. I'm going to eat all the raw fish in japan as a consolation!

Anny27 · 28/09/2019 12:17

@ELW85 hopefully can rest lots this weekend! I am good, 5 weeks atm and time seems to be going sooo slowly haha

ELW85 · 28/09/2019 11:46

@Anny27 - thank you 😊 I’m great thanks, pretty tired but great! I hope you’re well? X

@Larrydavid - temping definitely keeps you on your toes! Enjoy your trip!

Larrydavid · 28/09/2019 09:17

@ELW85 thanks for looking! Yeah I guess it was day 15 that threw me a bit as that was lower -and the predicted day for ov! If it did happen on day 13 - that at least means I'm in with a shot this month which is good! Omg a boy - congratulations- so exciting.

@MrsEG two boys! So happy for you! You must be over the moon.

Japan is so wonderful. I caught a cold on the way over and not even that is making it bad!

Anny27 · 28/09/2019 08:20

@ELW85 so exciting that you are having a little boy:D hope all is well xx

MrsEG · 28/09/2019 08:06

@Larrydavid Hello lovely thanks for asking, I’m getting on fine - found out a few weeks ago the twins are both boys. Have my 20 week scan now in just over a week. Have a fabulous time in Japan!

ELW85 · 28/09/2019 08:02

@Larrydavid - enjoy Japan! Very jealous 😊 I’m well thank you, got our Harmony results yesterday (all good!) and found out we’re having a little boy, so very excited!
There’s definitely a temp shift after CD 13 but I think because you’re pre Ov temps are a bit erratic, it’s making it look less steep. Your temps aren’t near the cover line so all good!

@Kiza - it was horrendous! I need to get my team to travel more to me, especially in the coming months! Enjoy the gym 😊

Kiza · 28/09/2019 07:25

@ELW85 gutting about your train- especially when in that moment you're just desperate to get home!
@Anny27 @MIW01 yeah I was a bit sceptical at first but it happened after the first session, I ended up ovulating super early at cd 11 the AF at cd 26 and from then on regular cycles for the last 4 months.
Even thought we now know I'm all good and it's DP sperm morphology I'm going to keep up with the Accupuncture once a month the week before O

Up early to head out to the gym and now need to look for more supps to improve DP sperm morphology- he's going to end up being a Right pill popper! 😆

Larrydavid · 28/09/2019 00:36

@ELW85 I'm in japan now but this happened before I travelled. I think there's a slight temp shift but it's not obvious like last month. Or maybe it is! Here's my chart... (thanks in advance for looking! Hope you're well?!)

MIW01 · 27/09/2019 22:53

@Kiza that's great it's made such a noticeable difference. I'm fortunate in that my cycles are now fairly regular (28/29 days) it's my progesterone levels I need to increase! So hopefully it can help with that.

Though oddly enough, found out this evening that DP's Dad also has sluggish swimmers and he was unplanned! So there is hope for us all yet! Grin

Anny27 · 27/09/2019 15:20

@kiza thats so interesting that it regulated your cycles! Really cool

Hope everyone else is doing well xx

ELW85 · 27/09/2019 09:57

@Kiza - I did have an early one. Shattered! The train was super late because of signal failures, so I didn't get home until about 7pm.

Kiza · 27/09/2019 06:53

@MIW01 I'd say it's certainly regulated my cycles to a typical 28 day with ovulation on day 14/15.
Our GP said he wasn't allowed to recommend it as the NHS don't have enough evidence to back it, however he said privately he strongly recommends it for a number of different issues.

MIW01 · 26/09/2019 22:15

Having read all the feedback on accupuncture, I'm inclined to give it a go.
