Oh sorry to hear that @orangeloo it's awful cause you know you're sposed to feel happy! I nearly burst into tears on the train the other day at the Mum and daughter opposite with her cute stuffed rabbit and teddy bear and I just ached for it to be me! 😭 We've been TTC (actively) 6 months now but due to my age (35 next September) and the cut off in our area combined with our family histories our GP is being brilliant and getting us referred asap. I just hope we get a BFP while we're waiting! I've never had a BFP and I really want to know what that feels like.

@MIW01 sorry about AF have you reached a year ttc now then?
I'm on cycle 11 and have been googling a year ttc looking it up in YouTube etc for success stories. I feel like most people conceive well within a year or way more. I never really hear of many people around the year mark and I need a boost of hope haha.

Had to go to get a baby shower present in mothercare today it was horrible just wanted to get in and out as soon as poss. The envy and longing to be shopping for my own baby is crap.

Unfortunately AF arrived in style today. I'm so gutted! In pain, horrendous back pain! moody, miserable. Im going to call the GP to get the referral rolling.

I'm also going to try a nutritional therapy programme that's run by a friend of my MIL. She claims it works for all sorts. I'm mainly doing it to improve my health and energy levels (with a welcomed side effect of fat loss) as I've been pretty under the weather with one thing and another but I mentioned about us conceiving and she told me she has had clients with fertility issues magically fall pregnant after following the programme!

I'm also taking comfort in the fact that my friend with ME was TTC for a whole year with no BFPs and fell pregnant naturally when they stopped trying.

@SunnyFlover aww I’m so sorry to hear this but you don’t know for sure yet so try to keep positive

Spunk into a cup 😂 just remind them that’s the only test they have to do compared to what we would have to through so count themselves lucky!! I have the fear about coming up on a year as my DP has a DS from a previous relationship so if there’s a problem it’s likely going to be me 😓

@Lozzlepop AF is due somewhere between sat-mon, think I'll end up retesting either Friday/Saturday.

@Anny27 hope it all goes ok for you today, how are you feeling?

Well, it's seems that my gestation sac is not in the uterus, but everything else is geared up for the pregnancy. I have tested 100% positive ovulating on 17 October, which makes me nearly 6 weeks. At 6 weeks it's unlikely that the sac would not be in uterus.

And little bleed on 10DPO makes me think that it was implantation. Hence I think I am 6 weeks and not less 😞

@MIW01 thats great you are holding out to test, wow thats an absolute marathon, I have everything crossed for you lovely!

@SunnyFlover what makes you think ectopic? Is there any chance that you may have ovulated later than you though and therefore not be as far along? Try not to read too much - as great as the internet is Google can be the absolute devil and you will be down a wormhole before you know it.

@Kiza haha yeah I think DP would have issues getting started as he would just be really uncomfortable in that situation.Yeah it gets bloody cold on the east coast 😂I'm from the west originally so it was an adjustment when i moved! Oh thats sounding positive, when would AF be due?

Spoke to a friend last night, one of her friends has just had her tests and they have not come back with any answers- this is 100% my biggest fear! Hopefully I can get through to the clinic today and chase this letter up! Hope everyone has a good day!

@SunnyFlover so sorry it might be ectopic but its really good you are being scanned so they can pick it up and treat quickly! It seems so unfair - i am not sure anyone here has had an ectopic (quite a few of us have had miscarriages however) but if you look at the pregnancy loss board there will be others who have experienced this xx

@SunnyFlover I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so disheartened, as some of the other ladies have said it's so difficult to tell so early on. However it's positive they scanned you and you're bloods will be coming back so quickly. Really hope it all works out well in the end.

@Lozzlepop DP was prepared and had some images on his phone to help him out near the end 🤦🏼‍♀️😄. I've lived in Aberdeen the last 4 years (moved to Birmingham at Xmas) so completely feel you with the cold up there!! Never experienced anything like it in winter!

I'm getting myself more excited by the day as cervix has remained in medium position and has now turned soft. Plus still very wet down there, CD 26 and wishing with all my might this is our month! 🤞🏼

Ladies, I am 90% sure it's an ectopic pregnancy. I am terrified. Today should get my bloods back, but I know that it will say - super low "10", just the same as per all my 5 daily home test that only picked up a faint line with 6,5 sensitivity.

Did anyone had this before? Can you advise..? I dint want to wait until it passes naturally as it could also cause more damage as the time goes on, I think I will ask for injection to terminate it all ASAP...

First time trying... 2 cycle in... straight to ectopic 😢 Do I need a tube cleaning..? Why is it happening, I see no other reasons for it- none of the "causes" seem to apply to me 😟 And info says I will be more prone to have them now as it happened once...😥

@Lozzlepop thank you, I'm holding off until Thursday! Apart from when AF was here last and we DTD on CD 4 & 8 we've DTD every other day this month! Really no reason for it to not have worked!

@Kiza oh really? Haha I’ll not be telling him that- I don’t think he’s be able to..... finish under pressure 😂 we live just outside Edinburgh, over the bridge so it’s been pretty chilly the last few weeks!

@SunnyFlover sorry you haven’t been given a definitive answer yet, where do they think you are pregnancy wise? Very early it can be hard to accurately date so don’t get too disheartened, whatever happens we are all here for you but I really hope everything progresses lovely 💕

An update - no clearer at this point. Got few early scan images that are impossible to read ( for me). Doctor noticed a gestational sac but it seems to be still very flat and nothing can be seen inside of it. There is a corpus luteum cyst ( normal size) next to it, which apparently is a good sign... But the stage of the pregnancy doesn't really match the calculated time. Blood results will come in tomorrow, another test in next two days... Between now and then I just pray that my HCG levels start magically quadrupling... 😞 I broke dawn and sobbed all the way back home from the clinic.

The rest seems to be ok...

@Lozzlepop my other half had to 'spunk in a cup' in a side room at hospital... he said it was the most uncomfortable thing he's ever had to do! 😄
Are you far up north? Time to get the thermals out! Hope whatever you have doesn't fully develop and you can shake it off.

Hello @Lozzlepop sorry to hear you may be coming down with something and didn't get a chance to call the hospital! Today is CD27 so AF due tomorrow and had very mild twinges . . . Nothing like I usually get! Back ache when doing stable chores but that doesn't feel AF related. Am very spotty with huge boobs and bloated belly! CM very dry. So anyone's guess!

@Kiza I would not be worrying about one glass of wine, I have drank before, it’s all about everything in moderation if you want a glass, allow yourself a glass ☺️

@SunnyFlover I hope you are ok and that you got some answers at the doctors, it really is such a nervous time the first few weeks, please remember at this early stage it’s really out of your control - I know exactly how you feel, be kind to yourself and try not to worry too much 💕

@whatsthecraic91 I’m a late ovulater too- day 18/19 here sometimes! If we do SMEP again I’ll be starting it later than day 8 cos I didn’t have the stamina last time and had to miss the last day 😂

How’s everyone’s Monday’s been? Mine wasn’t horrendous but it’s been so cold here today 🥶 feel like I’m getting sick and never got a chance to call the hospital at work today 😔 tomorrow is another day though! Xx

Afternoon! @kiza So after building myself up to have the medical management today, i got to the hospital and they said that the doctor i saw on friday forgot to take bloods and they couldnt give me the tablets without making sure my bloods were okay.......so had the blood test today and back tomorrow for the tablets!

Been making using of my day off work by doing some sorting in the house haha

@SunnyFlover thank you 🤞🏼 try and keep positive until you have spoke to the doctor and got a blood test done. I know thats easier said than done!! Let us know how it goes!

@Kiza yea we are going to try too! We have been DTD all weekend just for fun as we had a weekend off from DSS - it was really lovely just chilling together all weekend haven’t done that in a while!! But yes SMEP started properly last night! I’m a late ovulater CD17/18 so hopefully we can keep it up!!
Waiting to test absolutely kills me it takes all my willpower and DP hiding the tests 😂😂 fingers crossed for you!
