First cycle trying SMEP - Anyone else?

I'm currently on CD8 so am going to attempt the SMEP plan this month.

I've been referred to the fertility clinic but would love to conceive naturally before my appointment comes through so this seems like our best chance!

Is anyone else currently doing this or planning to? Would be good to have a SMEP buddy.

I did another IC today... still faintish line... so it's either a chemical or it's just not dark enough yet. That or I counted my DPO wrong!

ONG OMG OMG OMG

The SMEP has worked!!

OH doesn't believe it says we have to go get a clear blue!! 😱🥰 I'm in shock!! We were going to do a lil video of us reaching to the test and DSS went came over and picked it up before we had chance 😂👏🏼

Cannot actually believe it! Hardly any symptoms at all! 😱😱😱😱

@Each2TheirOwn that’s the plan, keep going every other day until I get a positive OPK or AF arrives. I am showing as being in my fertile window on the Ava app but OPK are negative at the moment. Does anyone do the OPK more than once in a day. I’ve been doing in the morning and then yesterday I did one in the evening too. I waited four hours holding my urine before that evening test but wasn’t sure if it’s necessary to test twice in a day.

@Each2TheirOwn it's hard to tell 😅 woke up on the sofa today and OH has come home early and was sat playing PS4 on full volume and hadn't it hadn't even woke me up so must be quite tired but I have just finished a night shift 😅

Funny 'stomach bug' feeling in my tummy. It I generally feel fine, got a slight beach ache at mo, but basically no nothing substantial enough to suspect a BFP is coming x

@flossy12 how are you doing today? Anymore symptoms? Mine keep coming and going to. Feel like this week is really dragging. The TWW is torturous!

@Positivity2019 it's so annoying when you don't get consistent answers isn't it?! I'm using 3 apps and they are all telling me different things (even though I logged the same OPKs with them all! Cover all bases and just try to DTD every second day until AF is due and they way you can't miss it - you will be knackered, but covered lol x

@Each2TheirOwn fingers crossed for you, twinges sound promising! I’m the same, only on CD10 and in a muddle with SMEP. I’ve decided to do OPK this month too and although my Ava is telling me I’ve hit high fertility the OPK is negative. Keep plodding on with it all though.

@Each2TheirOwn all other symptoms have ceased 😢 only thing today is smell seems a tad more heightened but I've been eating really good so think it's just the sugar in stuff I can smell 😅 and a scratchy throat

Hopes are failing this week x

Hi All,

How's everyone doing? I had a weird electric shock type zapping pain just beneath my belly button earlier. Only lasted a second but happened 3/4 times one after the other. Not experienced that before so hoping it was related to implantation as I'm 7dpo today 🤞🏼 anyone else had any 'symptoms'? X

So AF was due Sunday according to my apps but I OVd a bit later than normal. No sign of her yet but no BFP yet either. I feel I can see something on the tests but nothing I can say conclusively. I’m going to keep testing until AF arrives or I get a BFP...

I think I’m 13dpo now. My OPK+ was on the 21st which was around 4 days later than normal for me.

Hi @Positivity2019 Glad you had a good break and are raring to go this month 😊 I was away this weekend too which took my mind off the TWW (a little bit). I'm 5DPO today and feeling (or imagining) loads of symptoms. AF due next Thursday so still a way to go before I can test 😩

Didn't manage to follow SMEP to the letter but hopefully done enough 🤞🏼

How's everyone else getting on? X

Hi everyone, how was the weekend for you all. I had a great time away and it was well timed as today is cycle day 8 for me so first day of SMEP and feeling refreshed. I’m also giving the clear blue OPK a go this month to see how accurate my Ava bracelet is. Trying to be super positive, hopefully this is our month!!!

@Positivity2019 @BeingATwatItsABingThing thank you, it was devastating but I have come to terms with it as it obviously wasn't meant to be and saved us from possibly having to make a horrible decision later on.

Feeling positive this cycle, in FW now and have loads of EWCM which I can remember only having once before. Taking epo and shavatari both of which are supposed to help so they are obviously working!

How is everyone else doing?
