Though I dont expect any results to be honest, especially when I cant get my Dh at home grrr!

bramblina · 10/08/2007 00:31

Livvigirl · 09/08/2007 19:11

I think I have had the ewcm, not quite known what that was for before, but now it will be like the green light!!!
I can't stop thinkg about being pg, it's crazy as i'm not that meternal!!! Hope it won't be too long though.

tigerschick · 09/08/2007 18:47

Of course you can get pg - I did and it turns out I ovulate about 3 times a year - and at completely random intervals. The irregularity is because your ovulations don't follow a pattern. You would only have problems if you don't ovulate at all - and if you are having periods, no matter how infrequent, it is almost definate you can and will get pg - it's just a matter of time (I say 'almost' because you can have an-ovulatory cycles, but these are rare and treatable)

scorpio1 · 09/08/2007 18:36

of course you can i did!

goingfor3 · 09/08/2007 18:32

In the five months before I got pregnant last time my cycles were between 23 and 28 days. Hopefully it won't be a problem for you.

Livvigirl · 09/08/2007 18:30

HI Scorpio1 and Honey28,
thanks that info, it was really helpful.

This may seem a silly questions, but if you are not in a regualr cycle, can you get pregnant? I sound like a teeenage I know !!!!!!
I already have a daughter but she was'nt planned, and this planning babies stuff is really quite stressful!!!

goingfor3 · 09/08/2007 17:26

Thanks for that tigerschick the day before yesterday it probably was me then. It's amazing how quickly you can forget how to ttc!

mowmi · 09/08/2007 17:15

Hi Ladies, I'm CD 8 of what are usually 38-42 day cycles. My hormones are officially all over the place as my OPK tells me I'm at high fertility (not peak) already? ah well... get the results of all the tests me and DH have been having on Monday. Just had first hypnotherapy session to try and calm me down... really enjoyed it very relaxing! Also going to try accupuncture once I know what I'm dealing with on Monday.
Good luck all x

tigerschick · 09/08/2007 17:08

goingfor3 - someone on here said that, if it's after midday, the chances are it's you and not your dp. HTH

goingfor3 · 09/08/2007 15:06

Thanks for all of your good luck ladies. I'm on cd 17 and I usually ov quite early but really don't know what to expect this cyle. I had something hich looked like egg white for a couple of days but it could have been dp. I said I wasn't going to get obbsessive but I can already feel myself getting that way.

josey · 09/08/2007 12:34

Hey all, still waiting on word of DH coming home, though he did make some comment on the phone about his little swimmers, why do men think they have bionic sperm At least he is interested I should give him a point for that

Tiger your laughing at the test but I had to wait 2 days I was pacing the floors

Goingfor3 best of luck and to everyone else that has just posted

digitalgirl · 09/08/2007 11:20

hello ladies,

good luck with the clomid lulu & tigerschick!

hello scorpio, been following some of your threads, congrats on the bfp!

just found out dh has been hiding a small debt from me, too embarrassed to admit he's not been earning enough lately...feeling v. guilty about demanding he start saving money he doesn't have so that i can take 6 months off next year (we're both freelance)

now not sure if we can afford to have a lo as early as june

scorpio1 · 09/08/2007 08:47

just more is good enough! yay! crossing everything for you now

tigerschick · 09/08/2007 08:46

scorpio1 · 09/08/2007 08:41

Egg White Cervical Mucus - your fertile mucus.

read more here

This site explains it quite well, also tells you how to check, etc

honey28 · 09/08/2007 08:35

Hi Scorpio - Again . Can you put me out of my misery and tell me what ewcm means? Its funny you mention watching out for periods returning to normal, this month mine is back with a bang, just like precoil.
Livvigirl - my cycles are all over the place too since having the mirena removed in May. Mine have been like this

withdrawal bleed
24
6 (i know!)
31
19

Here's to a BFP in September!

scorpio1 · 09/08/2007 08:16

Livvigirl, Hi

I had a mirena removed on the 3rd Feb this year. These were my following cycles

Withdrawal bleed
28
13
41
43
34
BFP at cd32.

Personally, i think what you're experiencing is the coil settling-if you see my cycles they were never similar. the 2 long cycles happened one prob because of exam stress and the other because of serious antibiotic use!

Check your cm-i found mine was very progesteroney-thick, white, tacky for alot of the cycle time. When its ewcm, you are good to go!

I relaxd alot, after the first few cycles. i began to worry i was infertile, but about the 43 day cycle, my periods returned to before, very heavy, long, etc. watch out for a 'normal' return for you, too.

My cycles before coil were 30 days-i never got there!

Good Luck and post here again with any questions for me, i will find them!

{Hi Tiger Hope you well x }

tigerschick · 09/08/2007 07:51

Hi livvigirl - Scorpio1 had a Mirena removed 6 months ago and got her bfp last week. I know her cycles were quite long - about 40 days for a little while then shortened to around 30 days. I'll see if I can get her to post on here with more info

Goingfor3 - So sorry to hear of you mc. Hopeyou have a lot more luck very soon

Hope everyone else is OK.

Livvigirl · 08/08/2007 19:31

HI, just wondered if anyone had any experience after ahving the Marina coil removed, i had mine reomced 2 months ago, and only had 1 period, and that was 7 weeks ago!!

goingfor3 · 08/08/2007 19:14

Hello ladies,

I'm comming to join you. I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago at 16 weeks and am hoping to get pregnant again soon. I have no idea how long it will take my body to get back into a normal cycle so although I'm on CD15 I doubt I will get prenant this month so will stick to this thread. The first three times I got pregnant it happened straigh away but last time it took five months so I'm not expecting it to happen to quickly this time either and hoping not to get too obsessional about ttc.

Good luck to all of you.

tigerschick · 08/08/2007 18:42

lulu - thanks, I am taking CLomid for PCOS too, so I'm on the CD2-6 regime as well. Fingers crossed for us all

lulu1414 · 08/08/2007 17:17

What summer! Actually, with sun shining can't really complain.

Tiger- good luck with the clomid I see you have also been on the clomid thread which I think is full of info. I was told that you should expect to OV 5-9 days after taking the last pill. I take the pills CD2-CD6 and so expect to OV CD11-CD15. I guess it may depend a bit on when in your cycle you take the pills.
