Mine still isn't talking to me but we'll wait n see tomorrow.

libralady · 31/08/2007 21:13

moodymoo,
Got mine off e-Bay from pharmacylink for £14.99 + £2.00 P&P so cheaper than Boots.
Hope this helps
LLxx

sweetkitty · 31/08/2007 20:42

muppet - you know we posted within a 0.1 of a second of each other

So sorry to hear about your DH if it's any consilation I'm going to kill mine when I see him lets just say I do not think I will be getting a BFP in September and I seriously thinking do I want to ttc.

TheMuppetMuggle · 31/08/2007 20:40

Belle the little boots near me don't sell clearblue kits either.

MM - we've both been at work all day, i txt him 3 times when i had chance but no reply but i know hes not allowed phone on at work.
and i got a txt about 5:15pm saying been to your mums and your cars there but your not, so i txt saying up asda. called him when i got home and he said he didn't want to see me tonite and hung up

sweetkitty · 31/08/2007 20:40

best of luck for the mass testers tomorrow so excited want to see those BFPs x

moodymoo · 31/08/2007 20:35

Bellie - I wish I was going on holiday - are you going anywhere nice? Got a few nights in SIL caravan to look forward to next friday but not as good as a proper holiday with sun and foreign money . Will trade you if you want - you stay here for the big test and I will go on your holiday
Not sure about the test sticks - the boots near me is fairly big one on a retail park, only had 1 pack in when I got mine but the oher 2 shops that I have looked in have also had them (both mid size shops)but again both have only had 1 box on display. Might be worth asking the staff if any in the back or if could order them in for you because they definatly do them (can also order from the boots website) or direct from clearblue website. TBH i hadn't realised how 'new' these monitors are so might be that they are still trying to decide how many to stock etc.
Have a great holiday

moodymoo · 31/08/2007 20:28

oh MuppetMuggle - you still have a week to go before you know if you have a bfp or not - try not to give up this month yet. Sorry you are still feeling ill- you just need to give yourself time to get better and not put pressure on yourself.
Don't worry about your dh - I had the same problem the other night and it got so bad I could hardly stand to sleep in the same bed as him - moatly beacuse I wanted to do a spot of bd'ing and he didn't. Not actually sure what it started over but thats what it ended over. took till last night to talk to me again.Same thing happended last month. They just need to realise that a woman who is ttc is a little bit 'touchy' about things with a shorter fuse than usual .
Keep your chin up - hope things look a bit brighter in the morning x

Bellie · 31/08/2007 20:24

oohh - I can't even see the results of the testing party - I will be on holiday then but about holiday!

Moodymoo - I can't even find a boots shop that does them - only online - does it have to be a large branch of boots? Do you think that there is a big kickback with boots and clearblue??

just signing off and wishing everyone good luck for tomorrow will keep my fingers crossed for you all and hope to see lots of good news on my return

TheMuppetMuggle · 31/08/2007 20:10

Hey everyone

Well i honestly don't think i'll get the BFP this month, and DP not talking to me have no reason as to why. so feeling low and ill still

moodymoo · 31/08/2007 19:53

Libralady - are you using the clearbue fertility monitor like me and Bellie? If so where have you ordered your sticks from? Am thinking of e-baying for some this month as cost me £20 in boots!
Bellie - got another high day today -am sure that they can't all be high days really though, now I am living in hope of a peak day - but not expecting it for another 5 days if last month is anything to go by.
Wish I was joining in a mass testing day - sounds like fun . Will be checking in to see how it has gone.
for all those who's AF has arrived

Spink · 31/08/2007 19:35

Hello everyone - just wanted to say I am thinking of you gorgeous testers and will be checking in with a bag full of grins ready to go for you tomorrow morning. I've just had news that a very lovely friend of mine has had twins today, 5 weeks early and all is good. So that is the best of omens for you all!!
Sleep well and fill your bladders
x

libralady · 31/08/2007 18:52

Ooooh- a testing party! And on the first of the month too! How exciting. How will I work when I will just want to be logging on non-stop! Good luck all you testers.

Bucky- yes, very similar. I tried to get right back on TTC because I thought it would help- but my body had other ideas as I didn't get AF for 6 months. Can't believe it was almost a year ago when it all happened. I know what you mean re planning!

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

As you can see I've had a blissfully free few minutes on my hands to boldup our wonderful group. I read back through the past two days and updated a few important people. Toytownmum sorry AF arrived but there's still hope for a September BFP. Josey when are you testing again? I can't wait till tomorrow. Digitalgirl are you with me? I'll be sure to drink plenty before bed tonight. Bramblina & Starlight how are you two doing? Any BFPs?? Libralady you're close too..any updates? Pixie04 I know you're trying to hold out till the 8th BUT feel free to join our testing party tomorrow .

Bucky2007 · 31/08/2007 16:07

Hi Lulu
We are all in the same boat it seems, although I was so traumatised by the whole event that it put me off for a while and I have only just come back round to the idea of ttc earlier this year.

However, I am now a year older which I don't think is helping the proceedings . Am a bit frustrated with everything today, I just want BFP to happen so I can plan stuff and look forward to it. My mum wants me to book a family holiday in March next year with her, my dad, my sister and her partner (mum does not know ttc again) and I am in limbo as who knows what is going to happen, if anything??

I have a feeling it is going to take a while this time round though.

Hope you (and everyone else of course) have a good month this month.

Bucky

josey · 31/08/2007 13:13

Hiya

I have been busy the last couple of days with DDs 2nd birthday running DS back and fore to the dentist with an absess and I have just realised its now cd 31 and no AF. I did a test on cd28 with a BFN but I have just amazed myself that I havent constantly been toe tapping/clock watching to test again.

Not looking for a BFP now just want AF as DH left for work this morning so would be good to have over and done with before he comes back then I might have a sneak chance of still having a Sept BFP

Anyway hope someone has some good news for us soon.

lulu1414 · 31/08/2007 13:10

good luck Twilight!

Shrek and Bucky- just realised we are all pretty similar ie miscarriage last autumn and still trying. Good luck to you. As the weather turns I find myself thinking alot about that awful time. Hope you are staying positive and hopeful!

TwilightSurfer · 31/08/2007 13:02

Hi All!!
Just a quick note. NO AF YET!! Holding out to test tomorrow. DH home finally so life back to crazy-normal.

penguinmum · 31/08/2007 12:14
