Morning all, bit gutted as we should have done the business last night but didn't happen. CD15 and last BD was on CD12 We're doing the every other night thing (or were) and so last night we should have but both fell asleep as sooooooo tired. Then I woke him up at 2am and got him ready for it but he just couldn't finish. Poor thing, this NEVER happens - I reckon it's something to do with the pressure to perform as it's not more frequent than we used to, just that I'm telling him we must on certain days. So annoyed. So now I feel like this month won't be our month although I'm still waiting for EWCM so maybe not all lost???? Still gutted though.

LOL at the funny stories of jumping on dh's and swimmers etc!

lololola - welcome Tell us what CD you're on, which cycle, and which baby number you're ttc and we'll add you to the list! Of course you should keep trying. Have you been tested as it's been over a year?

DigitalGirl - couldn't you see the Dr sooner than Monday? Gosh, it must be driving you mad! Hope that one way or the other you find out what's what soon, it's the not knowing that's the pain isn't it!!

pixie - sounds lovely

sweetkitty - {{{ hugs }}} What's upset you? Just the general MC thing or something else? The waiting must be agony too

ladylush · 06/09/2007 09:37

SK the sun is shining here - is it sunny where you are? I don't think the lousy weather we've been having helps does it. I intend to go out with ds in a short while and get a bit of Vit D from the sun - I am lacking big time.

sweetkitty · 06/09/2007 09:27

Morning all quite a few of us flying down the table now, on CD1 you think it's going to drag in but it's goes fast doesn't it?

I've had quite a wobbly morning, read some posts on the ttc after mc board which set me off, have cried on and off all morning. Had a bit of a talk with DP last night but he went to bed at 10 saying he was v tired so couldn't really jump on him. Feel kind of weird about it anyway.

Anyway hope you all have a good day x

ladylush · 06/09/2007 08:58

ladylush · 05/09/2007 22:27

that was for lolalola

ladylush · 05/09/2007 22:26

Sex or ttc?

josey · 05/09/2007 22:21

libralady, you jump away lol!! some things I have read there is 3 types of EWCM the stuff you need is apparently very stretchy and can stretch up to 10cm in lenght?! can I borrow the [retch emoticon] I love how someone must have sat for months to discover all this.

lololola give up sex? never lol!

DG make the doc appointment, its possible you get have a BFP just very low hormone for a home test, it happens. It will also put your mind at rest theres nothing else going on.

Right away to try and get some sleep before tomorrow dreading it now.

lololola · 05/09/2007 21:03

ladies, can i join in. ttc for 2 years! (yes i am having sex) 42 years old, should i give up? x

abbymeg · 05/09/2007 19:47

Goingfor3 - you said that your cycle used to be 28 days, but has dropped - I wondered whether you knew why this has happened, as mine has recently dropped from 28days - 26days, and wasn't sure why? (Realise it could b one of those things) Thanks

libralady · 05/09/2007 19:35

LOL Spink.

Spink · 05/09/2007 19:28

libralady - I am in full support of the regular jumping on of dps, even when not in max fertility. Otherwise the little swimmers get all gummed up (urgh) from underuse, I find

libralady · 05/09/2007 19:22

Thanks for that looneytune
That's what I thought so I just jumped my DH as he was getting into the shower (alert - tmi)

looneytune · 05/09/2007 18:40

Don't know but I had SOME EWCM around CD9, plus the twinges, but yesterday (CD13) I had a 2nd line on my Persona Ovulation Sticks which I believed to be signs of ovulating however the monitor didn't show the symbol (but think it wasn't set properly to start with)

Sooooo......I don't know I'm afraid but I went for it then and am now. At the end of the day, I believe once every other day is fine.

libralady · 05/09/2007 18:34

Hi all,
CD8 today and using the CB Digital Monitor this month and still showing low fertility which I expected however I seem to have a lot of EWCM (sorry if TMI )
Any ideas? Should I go for it anyway. I don't want DH little wrigglers dwindling and being of poorer quality by doing 'it' too early iyswim

QueenofBleach · 05/09/2007 16:26

Thank sfor that

goingfor3 · 05/09/2007 16:21

CD is cycle day.

QueenofBleach · 05/09/2007 15:49

Thank you for the welcome.

OK my cycle after being very up and down over many years now seems to be about 30 days and has been for a few months.

Sorry to be a bit thick but what does CD stand for

digitalgirl · 05/09/2007 13:48

hey josey,
I stopped taking the pill last year and my cycles soon returned to normal. We'd been using condoms until last month. The only thing I've done differently this cycle is ttc, not drink alcohol (except last night!), not drink coffee and eaten less kitkats. I've had all the usual AF symptoms too, sore boobs and cramps - they've just continued for the last three weeks! Got a docs appt on Monday tho, hopefully she'll do something useful.
dg

josey · 05/09/2007 13:23

Pixi that is gr8 news you must feel alot better about things now.

DG could a long cycle be cause by you stopping contraception? I would make an appointment with the doc, AF bound to show up if she is hiding round the corner as soon as you put the phone down to the surgery!

SW know what you mean about #3

Welcome QB

Im a bit calmer today and told a little fib to the BT man when he called again this morning
Though DD has to go to hospital tomorrow for a small op on her mouth, DH was supposed to be home today and he has been delayed till Friday, bit nervous at taking her on my own.
Nevermind the longer Dh away just now the more likely he will be at home for when I need him lol!

goingfor3 · 05/09/2007 12:45

My cycle is usually between 23 and 26 days, I did used to be the average 28 days though.

goingfor3 · 05/09/2007 12:43

Bloomin clear digital opk is not working properly so I need to call them, looking at the stick on it's own I would say it's a positive though. My body does seem to be screaming out to me that I'm going to ov soon so hopefully I will be screaming I've got a bfp in a couple of weeks time!

TheMuppetMuggle · 05/09/2007 12:27

DG - i'm certainly not average

SK - glad your feeling a little better and thinking things through

sweetkitty · 05/09/2007 12:10

digitalgirl - don't know what to say is it stress keeping AF away I don't know how long you are supposed to leave it before seeing GP. My longest cycle has been 29 days so I have no idea.

muppet - I'm OK just working through a few things in my head I think that if I don't have a third baby it will always prey on my mind I believe I am meant to have 3 I feel that DD2 isn't my last and theres someone missing from around the table still. I know things aren't ideal for a new baby but when are they going to be? If a had a newborn in my arms would I ever regret it (now a stroppy toddlers a different matter )

Better go DDs are wrecking the house and my Dad is coming up today to sort my oven yea can't wait haven't had an oven for about 3 weeks and it's been hell.

digitalgirl · 05/09/2007 11:57

Average is 28 days, but that is an average - and who's average?

I'm usually 30-31 days. But my last one was 37 days. I have now beaten my record, which annoyingly has coincided with my first cycle ttc! Obviously I'm hoping to be PG, but 5 bfns say otherwise...
