Theres nothing wrong with abit of drama it keeps us sane in a srange sort of way!!

pigleychez · 06/09/2007 19:30

How is everyone today?

Hows the 2ww treating everyone?

Ive found it so hard and cant wait till i get to test.

Practically since bedding on ovulation day ive had stomach cramps. Abit like AF but I usually only get them once AF has arrived.

Slightly tender boobs.

Been tired but hard to get off to sleep and waking early ( very unusual!!)

Started to get abit emotional today too! Whilst cooking dinner today I noticed bugs in the brocolli! yuk! Ended up in floods of tears claiming dinner was ruined.. very dramatic!

Well fingers crossed hey....

abbymeg · 06/09/2007 19:23

Digitalgrl - Think someone typed a 7 rather than a 9 lower down. I'm still in rank order tho . Yes, CD10, but unsure whether it's CD39.. hmm.. don't feel pregnant, so I'll stick on 10. You never know, I might be one of those people who goes for a dating scan and finds a 16 week baby rather than a 12 week one! Anyway, I'm mostly admiring your sanity at CD40, and no beating-up of unhelpful GPs to date. I really hope Monday goes well, and after the last couple of days, I completely understand how you are feeling. My dates all depend on whether a whole heap of pain and a two-day light bleed constitutes an AF.

kgirl · 06/09/2007 19:20

What symtoms do u have sweetbean? Cause i've been thinking the same, i felt really sick the other morning and i've been getting really nasty headaches but the sickness only happened that morning.

AF is due monday so maybe i'm just wanting to see things and your spot on the wait is v.crapola.

digitalgirl · 06/09/2007 19:14

Oops, how did we lose two days Abby?

Let me know how the opk's go...was thinking of trying one myself for next cycle, but I'm not so sure I'm a regular egg hatcher now so it may not work with me.

Hi All

God This waiting malarky is crapola don't you think!!!

I have no idea how i did it with the first one! How soon can you strat to get signs of pregnacy with my first i had now idea untill i did the test 5days after af was due and before that i was convinced i wasn't pregnant even though i had been trying.
I do have symptoms but i think they are all in my head

kgirl · 06/09/2007 18:21

Sorry digitalgirl forgot that bit i'm abit excited about finding people who are going through the same as me!
I'm CD19, the red monsters due on monday am getting pretty nervous now!!!!!

kgirl · 06/09/2007 18:14

Hi PennyBenjamin
I saw one of these the other day and wasn't sure about it. My other half nearly had a heart attack and thinks its too early to be trying that sort of thing (we've been trying since april) and thinks we should wait untill we've been trying a year . They really have no idea do they!?

Good luck giving it a go, you'll have to let me know how it works.

abbymeg · 06/09/2007 18:07

libralady · 06/09/2007 17:42

Hi PennyBenjamin ,
I too have splashed out on a fertility monitor. Have started using it this month and am on CD9 so far. Which monitor have you bought?

ladylush · 06/09/2007 17:39

Some funny posts today SW pmsl at littery - esp with you having a feline name

digitalgirl - not CD1 yet. I used to count the initial stage as CD1 but then I was told to count the first day of full flow. I take your point though, I would hate 6 week ones when ttc (would love them if not ttc as it feels like I'm bleeding a lot of the month!)

PennyBenjamin · 06/09/2007 17:35

I've bitten the bullet and splashed out on a Clearblue fertility monitor this month - very exciting! DH thinks I'm being silly, but at least it makes me feel like I'm doing something.

Any views/tips/etc?

kgirl · 06/09/2007 17:31

Queenofbleach - no idea what to say about that one!!!!!
how long have u been ttc? if u don,t mind me asking

QueenofBleach · 06/09/2007 17:24

OK figure my dates out and CD21 cycle 1 TTC#2

libralady · 06/09/2007 17:24

Welcome to all the newbies.
LT you made me laugh re jumping on DH @ 2am. Thought I was bad jumping mine before he got inn the shower last night. CD 9 and still got a low reading on my fertility monitor
There seem to be loads of us on thei September thread. Hopefully lots of BFPs by the end of the month then, fingers crossed

kgirl · 06/09/2007 16:21

Hi all. Hope u don't mind me joining in.
I'm cycle 5 i think and this is #1 so i'm a bit new at this especially as i was on the implant and injecion before ttc and hadn't had a period for 6 years!!!!

PennyBenjamin · 06/09/2007 14:37

Hello all,

Mind if I join your list? I am CD3, cycle 3, TTC#1.

Still in horrible AF territory, but actually am having a better day today. Was so depressed on CD1 and CD2 that I couldn't bring myself to even look at MN, so just being here is an improvement. I feel like Neo in the Matrix - I am begining to believe!

Right, enough rambling, hello to you all and good luck. Hope to be hearing lots of good news as September progresses.

Bucky2007 · 06/09/2007 12:49

Am in the same place as you sweetkitty. Poor DP is being practically attacked at every turn, he is holding up at the moment but not sure if he will make it to next week! Fingers crossed.

sweetkitty · 06/09/2007 12:27

Thanks for all your kind words they really do help, well went to toddlers where theres 3 bumps and 2 newborns so stay away from newborns but of course DD2 goes over to a sleeping one, think I have to go check if she's bashing him on the head and the Mum starts chatting to me saying she thinks DD2 wants a little brother or sister didn't tell her anything would just make her feel bad but

I'm thinking when will I stop feeling like this about babies, DD2 is only 19 months FGS she is a baby I have a baby already why do I want another one so bad what is wrong with me?

Ladylush - am of your weather, I'm in central Scotland it's never sunny here

LT - not surprised your DH wasn't up for it at 2am bless him, the stress does get to both of you doesn't it. Try not to stress about BDing on the "right" days, with both the DDs I have sex once that month only (for various reasons DP in another country) I have a 28 day cycle, DD1 BD'ed CD17 thought it was way too late, DD2 was CD11 thought I was too early, I get EWCM day 14-15 normally, so just to show you you don't need to get your days right it really is a littery this ttc business.

digitalgirl - thanks for you kind words too so sorry about the BFNs and AFs not showing up, bloody cruel world sometimes

Anyway I'm away to do some cleaning am going to put on some happy tune music as well am also going to make some fairy cakes with DD1 now my oven in working. Will pass some around later.

looneytune · 06/09/2007 11:06

p.s. DG, Just tell the Dr you want a blood test to rule it out and say you know sometimes they don't show up on urine samples. At least then if it's still BFN, you will know and then AF will probably turn up!

looneytune · 06/09/2007 11:05

Ladylush - I know, felt really bad for him. Wondering if there's something going round as we are both VERY VERY tired today plus ds didn't wake us up this morning and was very sleepy when I did go in his room

digitalgirl - I know, you're right. Must say I'm still confused with why I got EWCM on CD9

digitalgirl · 06/09/2007 10:52

gosh CD40, feels like I've been waiting forever for something to happen - but at the same time everyone whose cycles I was sharing seems to have rushed into their next one and be well into bd'ing time! am feeling a lot better after the bfn on tuesday. have stopped googling for 'missed period/negative pregnancy test'. now happy to wait till monday for doc appt, although a little concerned she'll tell me 6 week cycles are nothing to worry about and send me packing without a blood test.

LT - if you're still waiting for EWCM then don't worry about not having had sex for a couple of days...believe me, the worrying doesn't help at all! It will come and then so will he and then so will you and then ta-da: bfp!
SK - hope you're feeling better, but sometimes it helps to have a good cry...
Ladylush - much as you probably don't want to be on CD1 I am actually of your short cycle!

ladylush · 06/09/2007 10:25

Your poor dh LT. Think the painters are coming - pink/red streaking going on. Oh well, onward with the next cycle. Probably best as when I go to the m/c clinic next week I suppose it would be best if I wasn't pregnant so that they can do baseline investigations.
