Just updated the thread as I'm on CD3 not 4. But delighted to be moving along all the same.

looneytune - I think we are going out shopping and for lunch in a bit nice and relaxing not but at least DP's here to help out. Might even treat myself with some of the birthday money I still have left.

muppetmuggle - thanks for adding me to FB, amyone else wants to feel free always need more friends, and at doing it CD2. My AF is quite heavy the first few days so I always abstain, also DP needs to keep energy back for next week!

spink - how are you doing today?

pipsqueeke - thinking of you x

whitedaisy - have no idea about clomid etc sorry but welcome to the thread anyway

hello to everyone else I have missed out as well, better go supposed to be doing Tesco order not MNing

TheMuppetMuggle · 09/09/2007 10:55

LT - you never know it could happen, will be most fertile next weekend so fingers crossed, DP was so disappointed as well as me when AF arrived.

Blimey, this is getting to be really hard work......everytime I come to get an update, loads has been said and I have to open another window so I can post to everyone without having to scroll up and down!!!

penguinmum - how are you now?

TheMuppetMuggle - at doing it on CD2 - you never know!

kgirl - congratulations!!!

digitalgirl - sorry about AF

Spink - how are you?

whitedaisy - no idea I'm afraid

Well, I'm pleased to be moving down the list but it does get rather boring doing the 2ww. I must say after an agonising first month last month, I've been a lot more relaxed about things and am convinced this is not my month so throwing myself into normal life like you do

What's everyone up to today? (apart from BDing )

whitedaisy · 09/09/2007 09:40

HELP! going crazy! 2ww! I'm on 50mgs of Clomid taken days 2-6 Day 21 progesterone was 54.7 My cycle is about 30-33 days. I'm on day 30 now. Took a dip test yesterday and it was negative! I was scanned on day 13, doc "guessed" that I ovulated on day 15? Mild twinges now and then but no cramps. I've heard that clomid regulates your cycle. Have I tested to early, do you think I could I could still be pregnant??????

TheMuppetMuggle · 09/09/2007 09:20

Spink Howz things this morning??

Well i'm fingers crossed will happen this month, DP was quite disappointed when AF joined us this month, although not that it stopped us BDing .
so worked out poss o/v dates and will use my o/v tests when AF stops so can try and get accurate ovulation times.

Spink, I hope you are okay. A couple of month after we started to ttc my period was a couple of days late, I tested in the morning and got a faint but definatley there positive by the evening my period started. Before my period this month I also had a faint positive but I think that may have been from hormones after my m/c. I just thought to myself if I hadn't been ttc then I wouldn't have teested and known so just think of it as a late period.
I really hope it's not an m/c and all is well.

KD73 · 08/09/2007 14:55

Spink, sorry to hear of bleed - hopefully its just implantation...

If you are worried go to the local hospital where an internal can determine if the uterus is open or closed. Also you will hopefully get a scan next week.

In the meantime, please rest

ladylush · 08/09/2007 14:48

Spink - glad you are feeling so measured about it all. If you are going to m/c it's better that it happens early and naturally so that you can try again. Thinking of you - it's a stressful thing to go through. Hope you and dp help eachother through it

Spink · 08/09/2007 14:41

thanks for your messages -I phoned NHS direct and cos I have pain I think they are calling it a "threatened mc" and telling me to watch and wait.. I'm feeling more together than earlier. If it is mc I guess these things happen for good reason.

Congrats Kgirl
Spink sorry to hear AF maybe here.

Well On the ov chart i've worked out i'll be most fertile 14.15.16&17th Sept so fingers crossed this is the month

Hope everyone else is well
xx

lulu1414 · 08/09/2007 14:01

Well done BFPs!

Spink- good luck. I don;t know if this helps, but before I knew I was pg last time there was a huge rush of blood on CD32- so much so that I thought it was definitely AF. I was surprised when the next day it seemed to stop. I did a test a few days later when I noticed my bbs were starting to hurt and it was a BFP. Unfortunately, in the end it ended in MC but that was months later and I was told it was NOT related in anyway. I understand bleedin can be normal. Good luck- thinking of you.

I am going to skulk off this thread now as I don't have any chance for Sept. good luck to the rest of you.

ladylush · 08/09/2007 13:27

spink do you have any pain? I had bleeding with ds but no pain and all was ok. With 3 m/c I had light bleeding (brown, then red) and pain (albeit mild at first). It is really crap when it happens at the w/e cos most epus are shut. If you have one that you can self-refer to you can just turn up and get scanned. Mind you, at such an early stage all they would be able to tell you is whether the cervix is open or closed.

sweetkitty · 08/09/2007 11:46

Spink - so sorry to hear about the bleeding I really hope it's just implantation

shreksmissus - don't want to get your hopes up but last pg I had loads of CM whilst pregnant in the early stages especially. With the DDs we BD'd nowhere near CD14 so you never know. When you testing?

rosiogs - what I have done before is have a glass filed out for you and just pretend you are drinking it, i.e. you will probably be too busy rushing around and no one will really be monitoring your drinking, happy birthday to your DS for tomorrow too

big hellos to everyone else hope you all have a good Saturday the sun is shining even here

abbymeg · 08/09/2007 10:57

Or, better still, ring NHS direct today. They're in the phonebook and you will speak to a nurse, who puts you on to a doctor if they think they need to, and can refer you to out-of-hours at hospital.

abbymeg · 08/09/2007 10:55

Spink - I would contact your GP for peace of mind. I bled with DD at 8 weeks. A bit more than spotting, but not enough to constitute the start of a period. I hope things go okay for you . It's very common.

Spink · 08/09/2007 10:42

thank you - feeling a bit wobbly .. not sure what to do with my head, whether to be hopeful or not. I guess I just have to wait. (When) Should I contact my GP?

Let us know how you are [worried emoticon}

Bucky2007 · 08/09/2007 10:27

Spink you could get implantation bleed around the time of your expected AF. But if it is LOADS, like 'I need to wear protection' loads, that is not good . If you got a positive and it's (and I truly hope all is well) not good news, your pg hormones won't go for a few days yet...

When I had MC I showed a BFP more than a week afterwards.

I hope it is fine though and its just implantation.

ladylush · 08/09/2007 09:58

sorry to hear this spink. There can be so many reasons. Do you have an early pregnancy unit anywhere near you? Might be an idea to keep testing and see if the line gets fainter.

Spink · 08/09/2007 09:49

um. i've just been to the loo and am bleeding. I know spotting is normal but think this might be too much. If I hadn't tested this morning I just would have thought this was AF starting
what do you think I should do?

ladylush · 08/09/2007 09:39

Congrats kgirl and spink

I still have brown stuff and am getting hacked off waiting for full flow so I can start a new cycle. I used to count the brown stuff as CD1 but it seems most of you don't so I have adapted accordingly!
