We are currently TTC #3. DC are 7 and 4 going into Juniors and Reception this year. DP has always been on the fence about whether to have anymore until early this year and now he’s as enthusiastic as me that it’s the right thing for us.

Both DC took 12-18 months to conceive and we got our hopes up so many times each time only to feel rubbish when it wasn’t to be. We haven’t been trying half as long this time and yet I’m convinced this month is the month, not for no reason. I had what I think was possibly implantation spotting yesterday evening and I’m crampy but milder than with AF and I feel a bit sick and knackered today.

I know it will take a couple of days for HCG to build up enough for a BFP if this is the case (didn’t stop me POAS this morning and getting a BFN). The sensible part of me is trying to stop myself from getting my hopes up as I know it could just as easily be my body messing with me and the start of AF a few days early but I can’t stop convincing myself I’m pregnant. Arrrrggg

@bigfatwiggle - omg we must be twins lol!

I suffer with my tummy (inflammation / allergy issues) and am always thinking its preggo symptoms when its probably just how I always have been feeling except my senses are heightened to it because I am TTC.

How long have you been trying?

I'm 35 so feel time is against me, def need to stop reading articles about age as it scares me!

I'm CD 18. Been having a really weird sensation in my lower abdo this morning like cramping but I have bowel issues so it could be to do with them.....probably trapped wind Grin
I often confuse tummy trouble with pregnancy symptoms and get my hopes up!
Dp is very much let's take the chilled approach and see what happens even after a year....he's in his 40s so I don't want to leave it too much longer. I'm 31 so feel I should be ok age wise. Feels like such a long wait to see if anything has happened. I keep trying to see positives that if AF comes I can have a nice big glass of wine!

@Chops14 I’m due AF on Saturday too, I’m cd 27 though, my cycles are 31ish days. It feels like about a million years ago since the fun times of the fertile window. I just want to know now so I can either get excited or have a bottle of wine and get my head back in the game for next month.

Joining the torture brigade. Trying for our first child after getting married in May this yr.

I was convinced this was our month with tracking my Ov and following the sperm meets egg plan.

But I took a test on Monday and was a BFN... still could be early as I'm CD22 and due for Af on sat according to Ovia.

I am the most impatient person. I need a test you do a couple of days after BD which says "yep, you did it!" or "nope, not this time buddy"

two weeks is a long time to get your hopes up!!!

x

Where about are you in your cycle this month @bigfatwiggle? It’s horrible dealing with all the things that go through your head when it’s not happening isn’t it.

I feel like I'm going mad too. Me and dp have limited times when we can dtd when I'm ovulating because of his job. This month everything has lined up pretty much perfectly and he's been home the whole time. I'd really like us to have a child together but nothing has happened in the year + that we've not been using anything. I had an ectopic years back and I fear that might be what is causing issues now Sad
