Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?

Thanks ladies 😊 AF due on Sunday/Monday. It's my birthday Wednesday and it would make the most wonderful birthday present!!!

Hi girls, I am new here. TTC 1, currently 10dpo.

My symptoms:
Day of ovulation - weird feeling in belly, like emptiness
1dpo - cramps
3dpo - sometimes cramps after bm and boobs sore (never sore so early)
7dpo - brief feeling of warmness in belly, like burning but not painful, BFN
8dpo - BFN
9dpo - boobs even worse, faint line, nausea
10 dpo - boobs still sore, nausea and faint line

Not sure if the photo shows it good, it's a test from Poundland.

Should I hope?

@Ginfizz90 yeah it is definitely still early days don't be too disappointed although I know that's a lot easier said than done but keeping my fingers crossed for you..
@May2311 I'm on my 5th cycle now how about you? I did a lot of research before hand and I tried to establish some sort of plan and what I was going to use/take and pre seed got such good reviews I decided to get it because regardless it definitely can't hinder the process.. but a lot of things I did on months 1-3 have sort of fallen by the way side now but I'm always on the look out for new things to do or try.. I think for men it is slightly easier because during that tww I think the time passes so much easier for a man, well for my man definitely 😁..

@Ginfizz90 still early days! When is AF due?

@littlelisa34 how long have you been trying? I can’t decide whether to try it. Hubby just says I need to give things time and laughs at me trying to plan it and find ways to improve chances ( he has the mindset that it will happen when it happens) 🙄😂😂

@Izzimai20031998 my af is due around 16/17th but hopefully she won't arrive.. least you have had your peak slightly earlier this month less time to wait for ovulation which is always a good thing in my book. Would be lovely to get a bfp for your partners birthday 😁 I've heard every day is slightly too much because sperm need time to regenerate but I don't think it can do any harm at all especially if it wasn't just for conception purposes so definitely can't be a bad thing..

@May2311 I've used pre seed since the beginning of TTC hasn't given me much help so far but it's sperm friendly so really can't do any harm.

@Izzimai20031998 what are we like!😂 At least I’m not the only one. We will get there I am sure- it’s just hard not knowing when!! My sister spent 2.5 years of trying, she was just about to start IVF( as in she actually went to the clinic for the first treatment), they ran bloods and she was pregnant( with twins as well!) So it did end up happening naturally for her but the fact that it took so long makes me so nervous.

@May2311 omg I am the total and I literally plan EVERYTHING! To the point where my OH has to tell me to stop so with this being so out of my control I find it even harder!
I feel like because nothing has happened yet 5 cycles in there must be a problem but I guess it's the case for sooo many people you just don't ever hear about it!

@Izzimai20031998 😂😂😂 I know!!! I’ve just been researching pre seed tonight🙈 anything that will help get that BFP sooner. In all honesty though all this extra stuff probably doesn’t even help- what will be will be! I am just so used to planning and organising I hate not being able to plan for this!!!

@May2311 I know exactly how you feel! I feel like I'm constantly on a countdown and makes the months go past so quick. I'm constantly looking for new things to improve our chances! I just can't imagine getting that BFP!

@littlelisa34 thanks! It sounds interesting though and I’ve heard that before about a cold uterus!

@Izzimai20031998 we aren’t forcing it, and just doing it when we are in the mood🙄 hubby is also a teacher so has more energy than me at the moment so around every other day. Although in my fertile window, we will plan it more and aim for every day for a few daysGrin.

It’s terrible really as I start my new cycle, first counting down to positive ovulation test, then counting down TWW and then waiting for AF to arrive!!! I am trying to be more chilled but it’s difficult because I know in my mind the steps!!

My AF is due 11th/12th August boobs a bit tender but think that's usual for me at this time. 😊

When are all you ladies AFs due? I'm due around the 18th-20th Confused I'm already getting nervous about the disappointment and I'm not even 1 dpo!

Wow that's good going!!

I got my peak last Sunday and we dtd Saturday Sunday and Tuesday 😊 probably should have done Monday too but we weren't in the mood x

Averaging here day 8-18 a mixture of every other day or daily.

Only have cheapy ov tests here to use. I live in a location where they aren't easily available so have only ordered cheap ones to be delivered so far.

@Ginfizz90 strong cramps is a good sign so fingers crossed!

How often are you all BD? I've had my peak days yesterday and today and I've BD twice each day (this is because we wanted to not for conception) but I have read that isn't good Hmm I guess we will find out!

I'm on cycle 3 currrently 7dpo and sooo inpatient this month.

No symptoms apart from strong cramps 5dpo.

I also used clear blue digital ovulation tests this month and found them really straight forward so that was good 😊

@May2311 I have found clear blue really easy to use and would recommend them although they can be abit pricey. I only test in the morning with those until I get a peak reading.

@littlelisa34 I git my peak yesterday on clear blue which is much earlier than last month. I only had one high fertile day this time where as last month I had about 5 so lots of BDing! I feel exactly the same at you though I highly doubt but really hope this month will the be the month! We would find out just before my OH birthday too which would be the best! The acupuncture is interesting it's something I've read about too and thought about! Hopefully you won't need it though!

@May2311 hi I actually went down and made my appointment yesterday.. I had a 15 mi ute consultation and just explained my cycles and how long we had been trying and any supplements or remedies I had tried so far..and few other stuff and he said I had poor circulation which is not good for fertility he said in China they say cold ground no flowers blossom so basically my uterus is cold hence no implantation.. I'm not sure how much of it I'm totally convinced by but like I said I will try anything once and I have read a lot of success on it so you never know. I used the ovulation sticks first month but I just couldn't get the hang of them so that's when I moved onto the clear blue I find it much easier. You've done well to get back to normal cycle so quickly hopefully that's a good sign for you 😁xx

Hope you don’t mind me joining in!

I came off the pill middle of May and I’ve been lucky enough that so far my AF has been consistent around 29/30 day cycle.

I am CD10 today and I use just cheap ovulation sticks. Last month I got a positive CD19 but I had read that you should test twice a day which I did which I’m glad I did as I would have missed the positive result otherwise!!

@Izzimai20031998 I feel the same- it’s no where near as long as some people are having to wait but already it’s hard every single month when AF arrives!

@littlelisa34 interesting that you mention acupuncture as I have been researching it today!!! ( I am terrible with googling everything haha). From what I have seen so far it seems that you need to have been diagnosed with an issue. Is that your interpretation as well? If not I wasn’t sure what you say when arranging an appointment- like would you mention your trying to conceive as I couldn’t work out if the treatment would be different to help with fertility?

@Daydreamer71 completely agree TWW is terrible!!
