To think I might be pregnant?

Yes I know, I should do a test and I will.

The last week or two I have felt complete fatigue, I’ve had to spend a couple of days in bed sitting in the dark. Last time I remember feeling like this I was PG with my first (now 2.5). I also have developed an aversion to wine which I usually love Grin it tastes funny to me suddenly.

I have had a normal period since DTD so haven’t thought anything of it.

How many people have conceived and gone on to have a period? 🤔

@RockyRolly you are going to devastated if she does end up pregnant with triplets 😂😂

DannyWallace · 31/07/2019 10:52

I hope you get the result you want OP ❤️❤️

mamansnet · 30/07/2019 22:30

I had a period when pregnant. Bang on time, lasted 4/5 days as usual. It was lighter than usual but that's all. Didn't find out until 7 weeks as a result!

Naomi9313 · 30/07/2019 22:01

Wow you lot at the beginning are a bunch of bitter bitches!! 😂 imagine spending your night being pure arseholes to people on Mumsnet 🖕🏽

@HT85 I had a period when I was pregnant with my daughter well not a period obv but it was a period type of bleed.. also where I had to go to bed for a mid day nap a few times. Fingers crossed you get your BFP and god forbid if you post in the wrong place again 😂 xx

Ginmonkey84 · 30/07/2019 21:54

No experience but certainly not impossible some women as others said have implantation bleeding but it would be much lighter than a normal period. Also you could have ovulated really early in your cycle again not the norm but not unheard of. But either way a test will give you an answer. Good luck!

NavyBerry · 30/07/2019 18:55

I had a very long heavy period that wasn't ending for two weeks. Once stopped I tested for ovulation and eventually discovered I was pregnant. So it is possible to be pregnant in the middle of your cycle.

Jemima232 · 30/07/2019 18:47

@HT85

A FRER would give you the answer as they are very sensitive.

Fingers crossed for you.

HT85 · 30/07/2019 18:43

I really appreciate the nice comments I should’ve posted here in the first place Flowers

Thank you so much @DannyWallace I really appreciate your kindness- it’s weird because I wish I’d paid more attention to the ‘period’ but I can’t remember if it was light or not 🤦‍♀️ I will get a test tomorrow but apprehensive as we have been trying for a while with no luck so I almost don’t want to know which sounds silly. I have PCOS so struggle to conceive anyway, it took a couple of years the first time.

Maybe the bleed you had was IB?

Jemima232 · 30/07/2019 18:30

Nobody has conceived and gone on to have a period. Periods only happen when you're not pregnant.

Anyway.

Many women have conceived and gone on to have pregnancy bleeding and miscarriages. Is that what you meant?

What was the date of your LMP?

DannyWallace · 30/07/2019 18:30

Wow some people on here are absolute dicks!

The OP is clearly asking if anyone has had a similar experience. There might be better boards to ask on, but she is clearly feeling the million emotions that can be felt when you have a feeling you're pregnant.

Be nice for fucks sake!

OP. Could the "period" have been implantation? Or some people just have a bleed early on for whatever reason.

Take a test, I hope it's the result you want Smile

LilyMumsnet · 30/07/2019 18:28

We're just moving this to conception for the OP. Flowers

sleepylittlebunnies · 30/07/2019 18:27

I only had bleeding with my third, wasn’t like my period though. I panicked thinking it was an early miscarriage but after an early scan and talking to friends later on in the pregnancy I found it it’s fairly normal and common to experience some bleeding.

HT85 · 30/07/2019 18:26

Thanks so much @LottieLou90

I know some (or the majority) of these threads are irritating but I also understand them.

My friend had her periods up until 7months pregnant (she found out she was pregnant when she was 6 months gone)

Wishing you all the best Flowers

Thank you @cinnamonapplex

Implantation bleeding can be mistaken for a period so it's possible this has happened

RockyRolly · 30/07/2019 18:18

Yes you are. Triplets. Congratulations

HT85 · 30/07/2019 18:14

Doesn’t take any energy whatsoever to either scroll by or just post something decent 🤷‍♀️ it really doesn’t. I’m off to find some huns now so go about your business 😉

MushySeas · 30/07/2019 18:10

Cross post - this is AIBU, you can't expect huns, kisses and baby dust here OP! There have been a lot dozens of these threads recently so I think patience has run thin...

MushySeas · 30/07/2019 18:08

I’m not asking for confirmation I’m pregnant

But that's your thread title... Hmm

No one here can tell you. Not even experiences other people have had can shed any light whatsoever on whether you're pregnant or not.

HT85 · 30/07/2019 18:06

@MushySeas i’ll do that. Might get nicer, less hostile responses.

Bleeding while pregnant is pretty common. Periods, obviously, are not. You need to do a test.
