End of August bus

Still haven't had a positive OPK but had all the symptoms EWCM, cramps yesterday so not sure if I've just been testing at wrong time as only done once a day. Had a tiny bit of spotting yesterday though which has never happened mid-cycle before, can this happen at O?

I'm not great with all the lingo but TTC baby no. 2. We've been trying for a few months but it's just not been happening. Been using clear blue ovulation tests so we hit the right window. Feels like it's never going to happen! It's been a relief to read this thread and see lots of others have been trying too. Hopefully this is the month 🤞🤞

Sounds like you have a good attitude to it though.

I might have to climb back aboard the bus. Woke up to brown spotting and cramps. Super light. Spoke to my dr friend who advised going early pregnancy. Scan done and bloods- scan nothing showing (which it would be at 5+) just waiting on bloods to confirm

Got one step closer though this month so ready to go again 💪🏼

@Tamalama thank you! I have an absolute irrational fear of sick as it is! But I suppose we have to accept it as one of the parenting not-so-perks don't we!

@november90 I don't think that bugs will affect ovulation, but it can delay it (according to Google), so I'd advise using opks just to be sure you dtd at the right time 😊

@MrsD0147 only a Month! Had Mirena removed beginning of July.
Am trying not to get obsessive about it. But as I am 36 and also the added pressure as it's my DH's first baby. Feel a bit 😬😬

So I was playing with my son and my niece today and my poor niece was sick. I cleaned it up and she's went to her home with my brother in law. We think she's got a tummy bug, the poor thing! Ovulation is due on the 19th (according to the app) but I feel it will be earlier as I had a long cycle last month. Anyway the reason why I'm sharing this is because I'm now concerned, if I inevitably catch this bug could this mean I may not ovulate? I have pcos and stupidly long cycles so I don't ovulate every month as it is! URGH anyone else feel like it's one thing after another? 😩😩😩

It's good that you'll be getting your blood tested. Yes, I know what you mean about dtd during your period...

@Tamalama - yes, I have got to book self in for blood tests (he's filled in the form and authorised them) so am going to go friday I think.

Yep, DH isn't keen on it but has said he will if I want to. But I think there's no point as the womb lining won't be ready for implanting if I'm ovulating Tuesday and still shedding!

@kenhomsbestwok have you been to see your gp about your cycles/period lengths?
If your due to ov whilst you're on your period I guess that could make dtd a bit tricky?

Ye they are just some off amazon but I do use the Flo app as well which is predicting ovulation on Wednesday but my cycles do vary a bit so I think that’s only a rough guess too! How long have you been ttc? I feel like it’s all I think about at the minute

Yes I think they do but wasn’t exactly sure how far before they do but fingers crossed - he will have to ignore his tiredness and hangover and get on with it haha!!

Don't they (opk) come up positive before the surge, so before ovulation? So you could be ok!

I know @flissity bad timing but he is back tomorrow night so will just have to start them and hopefully not too late this month!

@Tamalama, Tuesday according to the Clue App. Got a positive cheapie OPK this morning (though not as dark as control line but you know, it's there) and a flashing simile on the CB digital. Day 2 of cycle and on period.

My last few cycles have been 27 days (this month), 23 days (last month), 27 days (month before) 29 days (month before that)!!!!!

Looking at that, its not that bad as only 1 really short one but periods sometimes lasting 10 days (not full on periods for all that time).

Not been the same since having DC but not sure if that's down to that or just my age generally!

@kenhomsbestwok When are you due to ovulate?

I mean, does anyone think there's any point in DTD today/next few days? TBH, if there's little chance it will implant anyway I'm not sure I can be bothered! I'd rather have a few glasses of wine, a white magnum and watch Manifest!!!
