Hey guys decided to make an end of August bus as there is already an August bus and by the time we get to the middle of aug we will need a new one anyway and it will keep us all around the same time in our cycles.

My stats
TTC no 2
Cycle 7
CD 1
AF/BFP due 25th August
Age 29(30 in 10 days 🙈)

flossy12 · 08/08/2019 15:47

Been having my cramps for like 10 minutes now, they've just started so feeling like AF is going to be showing any minute now 😩

Sophieb15 · 08/08/2019 15:06

@Namiswan Welcome to the End of Aug bus. There will prob end up being an end of August bus 2 by the time we get to the end of Aug over all the chat [laughing]
Apparently you are very fertile after a chemical so fingers crossed this may be your month.

Can I hop onto this bus? I'm also on the other August Bus thread, but not due until around Aug 24th so thought I'd jump on this bus too.

Me:
Age 34 (just - my birthday was last week!)
TTC: #3
Cycle: 3
CD: 15

This is technically cycle #3 for me, but cycle #1 was a complete bust as I had a really weird and short (19 days!) cycle. Cycle # 2 was rubbish as I got a very very faint +ve from POAS at 12DPO and then AF arrived the next day, so think I may have had a chemical.

I know people always complain about the TWW, but I actually find the first half of my cycle much more stressful - is it just me?! The TWW drags but I find at least I know I've done all I can and it's just a waiting game... whereas the first half of the cycle is really stressful for me. My periods are never that regular - they are usually 29-31 days, but every now and then randomly will have a cycle that is shorter (24 days was my previous record before the random 19 day one recently) or longer (up to 34 days). As a result, I never know when I'm going to ovulate and so find the first half of my cycle quite stressful, wondering it if I will ovulate, when it will happen, and if me and DH should be DTD! We're DTD every other day and then every day around my fertile window, which I generally guess at by using cheap OPK, and checking my cervix and fluid. This month I've been temping but finding it too much of a faff so not sure I'll bother after this cycle.

mrssunshinexxx · 08/08/2019 14:51

@Sophieb15 it certainly would x

@november90 💕

november90 · 08/08/2019 14:47

Hi ladies! I saw this and thought I should post it here. I never knew that TTC would be so consuming! But it's definitely going to be worth it all in the end 💗

End of August bus

@mrssunshinexxx Fingers and toes crossed. It be brilliant if it was just easier and everyone just got pregnant when they wanted it!!!

Just checking in ladies, CD 19 today and got a positive cheapie OPK and also clearblue digital. DTD on CD 17 and again this morning. Plan is to go again tomorrow so fingers crossed for this month. TWW has officially begun and I will try not to test until the 22nd (but in reality will test before cause I'm useless at waiting that long...)

mrssunshinexxx · 08/08/2019 14:37

Maybe this month it may happen Especially as I really won't be expecting it x @Sophieb15

Sophieb15 · 08/08/2019 14:31

@mrssunshinexxx I wouldn't like to get anyones hopes up but It happened to me I was not expecting to be pregnant that month I was shocked. Especially after been off the pill for 3 years(not actively trying the whole time and didn't do OPK's)

mrssunshinexxx · 08/08/2019 14:21

@Sophieb15 I love your optimismGrin

Sophieb15 · 08/08/2019 14:10

@mrssunshinexxx So you have a very good chance so Smile Still get in the BD the minute he is in the door tomorrow just in case you did only O today. But even if you did O today or yesterday there should still be Sperm waiting for the Egg since Sunday xx

OP posts:
mrssunshinexxx · 08/08/2019 14:03

@Sophieb15 sorry forgot to answer that question is was Sunday xx

Sophieb15 · 08/08/2019 13:55

@mrssunshinexxx When last did you DTD though? Because if you did O yesterday or today and DTD A few days ago you still have a chance because Sperm lives in the tubes for 5 days. When I got pregnant with my DD We BD CD 5 and 7 and I couldn't have ovulated earlier than day 12 so I'd say the Sperm was still there from CD7. And It was a girl they say girls are slower swimmers. Smile Your not out until AF arrives but try not stress about it too much!!!xx

Hi all, hope you don't mind if I join in. This is my first month ttc baby #2 it took us 2 years to get our rainbow baby, and after all that time symptom spotting I didn't have a single clue the month I got pregnant. Not sure if this helps anyone but even if you think your out could still get your bfp Grin

I'm currently cd 22 ( cycle anywhere from 30-38 days) couldn't get a positive opk so not too hopeful this month already! I think I'm in for another long road anyone else have long cycles? Ty

mrssunshinexxx · 08/08/2019 13:34

@Sophieb15 when you put it like that I suppose there is a slight chance but. I got it wed morn so that would only take me to fri morn and he isn't home untilPM
I had pains all day yesterday and this morning but now they have gone x

Sophieb15 · 08/08/2019 13:18

@rosina38 No worries I'm on this TTC bus for 7 months trying fot my second so I've come to the stage where I know its out of my hands and up to my body if we have got in the BD.

@mrssunshinexxx When last did you DTD? If you got your static yesterday and don't O until 48 hours after that tomorrow morning so It is possible. It just all depends when your egg releases. The egg stay for 24 hours too like. Can you feel when you O?

OP posts:
Tamalama · 08/08/2019 13:17

@mrssunshinexxx When I got my static smiley I had bad ovary cramps and backache that night so I know that I was ovulating for sure, so it may be the same for you with your cramping. It's all so vague because you can either get the pains just before, during ovulation or just after 🤦‍♀️ however, with the static smiley you have I'd say it's due anytime or you're ovulating at the moment 😊 good luck!! 🤞

mrssunshinexxx · 08/08/2019 12:53

@Sophieb15 you are such a help to everyone x

Do you honestly think I could still be in with a Chance I have kind of switched of to the idea that I've missed this month x

rosina38 · 08/08/2019 12:22

Thank you @sophieb15 for your welcome and words of encouragement Smile

Sophieb15 · 08/08/2019 11:55

@mrssunshinexxx Yes leave it and jump on him the minute he comes home. If you can do sat morning then too and fingers crossed you will catch it Smile xx

@rosina38 Welcome to the madness of TTC. Ye are doing very good. Try get in tonight and hopefully you catch the Egg this month. Some months you might not have as much visible EWCM so don't worry about that.

mrssunshinexxx · 08/08/2019 11:48

@Sophieb15 hopefully early evening .. I do intend to get busy straight away haha

mrssunshinexxx · 08/08/2019 11:47

@LPMus hope af doesn't come for another 10 months at least !

@Sophieb15 I don't have any cheapies so maybe I should just leave it ?

He's home tomorrow night .. xx

rosina38 · 08/08/2019 11:29

Hello all

Age:31
TTC: #1
Cycle:2
CD:19
AF due: 20 August

No EWCM or ovulation symptoms to be seen or felt this month but last month lots of EWCM on CD18 and CD19 Confused Have DTD on CD 8,10,11, 15 and 17 this month. Might try again today! This is a good effort for us as we generally only DTD once a week due to busy lives etc Blush no kids to get in the way of DTD but I do have a very needy cockapoo Grin

Sophieb15 · 08/08/2019 11:05

@mrssunshinexxx Check with a cheapie don't use CB as the holder stores the info and they say to stop testing with it once you get a static.

What time is your OH back tomorrow?

welcome@Skiphoppa

@LPMus Fingers crossed AF stays away for you and you get your long awaited BFP tomorrow.
