Hey guys decided to make an end of August bus as there is already an August bus and by the time we get to the middle of aug we will need a new one anyway and it will keep us all around the same time in our cycles.

My stats
TTC no 2
Cycle 7
CD 1
AF/BFP due 25th August
Age 29(30 in 10 days 🙈)

@Sophieb15 it depends when we’ve DTD - if it’s in the morning and I have work, I don’t have time to lay still

If in evening I lay still, flat, try not to move but I don’t put my legs up in the air cause I think DH would think I’ve lost the plot! Plus, I’d get leg ache! Haha 😂

Lauralozzle · 09/08/2019 19:18

@lornz congratulations on the BFP, fingers crossed it’s a sticky bean! 🤞

Opk slightly darker this evening - hopefully get a positive opk this weekend or beginning of next week. Cycle day 12 - so need to BD today if I’m sticking with SMEP

I’m off work next week, so plenty of time to relax and not feel stressed!

november90 · 09/08/2019 17:51

I was gonna get some ovulation tests but I really didn't want to go down that road this month... I'm not sure if it was the ewcm or the other but my husband is home tomorrow so will start trying 😬

mumofbun · 09/08/2019 16:13

@AmIseeingRight that’s not strange at all! I literally have a little lie down and then do the same - as long as they’re in there then they’re in there right?

flossy12 · 09/08/2019 15:56

@Sophieb15 my friends said that too when people told them to do it 😅😅 but after waiting 6 months they though anything is worth a try and little one is now nearly 10 months old ☺️ xx

AmIseeingRight · 09/08/2019 15:33

im must be so staange coz i go to the toilet and wipe, coz read it only takes seconds to get to the cervix anyways but if we get to dtd this weekend I will help gravity out this time to up my chances.

fingers crossed

Sophieb15 · 09/08/2019 15:29

@flossy12 OMG if I said that to my OH he would think I was gone mad hahahaha

I'll do the legs up I think too I normally just lie there for 10-20 mins. I've to try make DTD interesting now for 5 days any suggestions Grin

flossy12 · 09/08/2019 15:15

@Sophieb15 I stay in whatever position I am and try give gravity a helping hand 😅😅 legs up if needs be!

My friends took 6 months to fall pregnant and their advice was that her OH put something cold on his testicles (in this case it was a cup of cold water and dangled then in) just before they were DTD and they caught that very cycle!! Apparently it's to do with getting the sperm moving around 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ but hey if it worked for them it's worth a try

Tamalama · 09/08/2019 15:06

@Sophieb15 Yep legs up in the air for me too for about 10 minutes as well.

@november90 as soon as you see ewcm get busy! I had a load last Thursday and got my static smiley on Saturday, so definitely a good indication!

Sophieb15 · 09/08/2019 14:56

@november90 If you are seeing EWCM get busy now. You normally O after you see EWCM. I get it for a few days before and the day after.

So I'm on CD 14 and my ovulation is predicted for CD 24 but I'm expecting it earlier as my cycle was long last month and may have off set the app a little... anyway I'm feeling abit hormonal these past few days and I haven't even really been thinking about TTC to be symptom spotting. Felt a bit headachy and sickly.... anyway I'm so sorry if this is TMI but me and my Husbands DTD on weds and last night there was quite a bit of discharge... abit like EWCM but I wasn't sure if it was.... well you know! Anyway today there's been a bit more! I really didn't want to do ovulation tests but with my predicted fertile window still being just under a week or so away we haven't been DTD that much and now I'm worried I may have missed it!! Ahhhhhh! Nightmare!!!

Sophieb15 · 09/08/2019 14:05

@mrssunshinexxx it's so crazy that we have to think about this stuff and our OH's just have to get the job done and not think about anything else. I've just informed OH to rest up as he will need his energy for 5 days of DTD. Wink

mrssunshinexxx · 09/08/2019 13:51

@Sophieb15 legs up for 10 min xx

Sophieb15 · 09/08/2019 13:31

@mumofbun when I'm not TTC I get up and go to the toilet straight away but when I'm TTC I feel like I need to lie down for as long as I can 🙈🙈🙈

OP posts:
mumofbun · 09/08/2019 13:18

@Sophieb15 I don't do anything in particular...usually lie down for a bit but more because i'm a bit tired

Sophieb15 · 09/08/2019 13:12

@Tamalama @mrssunshinexxx @sao81 @Lauralozzle @flossy12
What does everyone do after DTD Stay lying down? how long? Legs up??

Thank you @Sophieb15 😊 this month sounds really positive for you! 😊

lornz · 09/08/2019 11:59

Thanks I'll try to sit tight on the testing 🙈.

AF was technically due yesterday - I have strange cycles I ovulate very close to my period it would seem.

With my first I got a strong positive on the day AF was due. Then his due date was a week and a bit later than going from my last period.

With my second (which was a missed miscarriage) it took 10 days after my period to get a positive but obviously wasn't meant to be then.

Then this time very faint when period is due, will just have to wait it out to see what happens.

It's very helpful having people to share it with.

Sophieb15 · 09/08/2019 11:43

@lornz Try stop testing for a day or 2 and then you should get a much stronger line. Congrats try not to use your CB until your late so 15 DPO because they normally don't show until your late Smile

@Tamalama fingers crossed this is your month. I'm really happy that I can DTD all the days and have a really good chance to this month.

@AmIseeingRight When is he due back?

OP posts:
Tamalama · 09/08/2019 11:30

My right ovary has been tingling off and on today and I've got a bit of lower back pain. I've also had a headache the last day or so. I'm really praying this is it this month. I'm on 5 or 6dpo though so who knows... dtd at the right times this month.

AmIseeingRight · 09/08/2019 11:10

congratulation @lornz i can see lines on the 2nd one, which is so impressive for only 9dpo.

I'm on cd13 negative OPKs, but app says I'm not due to Ov until monday so that good as plan to dtd sat, sun, mon but now OH might not make this weekend due to work, so that might be me out this month until Sept. oh well, what will be will be, at least i can have lots of Wine

sao81 · 09/08/2019 10:39

Going off flo im 5dpo as still had no joy with the OPKs, all O symptoms stopped on the weekend too. DTD on CD 9, 11, 14, 15 and 16 so hoping ive covered all grounds. On Cd19 now, feeling really nauseous today just dont feel myself at all

lornz · 09/08/2019 10:04

Thank you lovelies 😘

Here's hoping. I've had quite a lot of lower back pain since the start of the week.

POAS is way to addictive though. My husband keeps asking how many test I've used as I do sporadic ones through the day too 🙈 I have a clear blue but don't know when's best to take that's on but the IC.

flossy12 · 09/08/2019 09:59

@Sophieb15 just some cheapies off eBay, they worked for me before so I've just ordered them again x

@lornz I can see something in both! Hope it sticks 😘🥰

mumofbun · 09/08/2019 09:52

@lornz i can see something in today's!
