@Lauralozzle I don't know a great deal about what our temps do during ovulation.
But will join you in the 2WW..: Ovia says I can test next Friday. Although that's a few days before af due.

Have you got a lot to distract you in next few weeks??!!

flissity · 14/08/2019 07:12

Well didn't manage this morning, but he brought me a cup of tea in bed before he went to work!
I am now away with the DD's until Friday night. I hope we have done enough.
OPKs have been negative since Sunday.

End of August bus
Lauralozzle · 14/08/2019 06:28

@Sophieb15 - I don’t think I can manage 5 days on the spin either. Think today will have to be a rest day! Lol

@flissity 7 days on the spin! You have more stamina than me!

So, temp this morning is back to pre-dip pre-ovulation temps. Not recording as a spike on one of my apps but it has gone up by about 0.3 degrees Celsius from yesterday. I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday so maybe it’s just taking a while to show up. Will do a final opk later to see if LH has gone right down.

I’m counting today as 1dpo - let the 2WW begin.

jaysnr · 13/08/2019 22:21

@Gembo25 took 3 cycles to get a BFP with my son and the only thing we did differently is use conceive plus on the third cycle.

Side note - how do you respond to someone's post on here without typing their full user name? I'm using the app but can't see how to @ someone x

jaysnr · 13/08/2019 22:18

@Gembo35 took 3 cycles to get a BFP with my son and the only thing we did different was use conceive plus on the third cycle x

Cat028 · 13/08/2019 21:29

That's what I'm doing this month. I think I'm due to O tomorrow. So going to test again in the morning and give it a go.

Gembo25 · 13/08/2019 21:28

I think I might!! 🙈🙈 can't do no harm lol!! As I'm lyin in bed might as well do a bit of online shopping 😂😂 Goin keep wit the ovulation tests too and use it on my best days xx

Cat028 · 13/08/2019 21:22

@Gembo25 not sure but if you end up getting it let us know how you get on. I felt like I was being a bit silly buying into it but am willing to give anything a try at this point.

flissity · 13/08/2019 21:18

@Sophieb15 and @Lauralozzle we are definitely doing it tonight and tomorrow morning. That will be 7 days in a row, with 2 sessions on one of those days 🤦🏻‍♀️

No wonder we are both so tired and ready for bed right now! Just watching Dragons Den catch up then bed.

Sophieb15 · 13/08/2019 20:30

@Lauralozzle I know how you feel we have never BD 4 days in row in any cycle I'm seriously thinking of bowing out on tonight everything has dried up and I'm bate. I feel like we have done everything we could this cycle. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I hope all this DTD is going to work, as fun as it’s been. Today’s DTD done (if I don’t count 1:00AM as today, otherwise x2 today.)

I hope I see a temp rise in the morning!

I’ve chucked everything at this cycle- never DTD this much before. Fingers crossed 🤞 for everyone

Gembo25 · 13/08/2019 20:17

Iv seen the little applicators and they £10.99 for 3 off amazon? I'm really considering it my ovulation day is about the 20th so plenty of time for it come! And I'm thinkin if we DTD 2 times on one night would the applicator work if I split it?? It's one Is too much?? Oh I don't no hahaha I'm jus thinkin out loud and getting carried away lol xx

Sophieb15 · 13/08/2019 20:02

@Gembo25 haven't used conceive plus but used preseed didn't work for me and found it way too slippery makes BD unenjoyable

Cat028 · 13/08/2019 19:56

@Gembo25 I have just bought conceive plus. Haven't used it yet but I figured the same as you. It can't hurt. It was quite expensive but if it works it'll be so worth it!

Cat028 · 13/08/2019 19:40

Hi all, hope you don't mind me hopping on.

I'm due AF or BFP 28th Aug.

I'm really really really wanting to try that conceive plus???? Iv read the reviews and there are so many success stories!!! Might jus b coincidence lol but whilst we tryin I don't think it would do any harm lol!! Anyone else tried it?? Xx

Sophieb15 · 13/08/2019 18:58

@Tamalama stay strong 💪

@lorns01 they should be able to see it with an internal scan 🙈 it's weird though because it's only one side seems to be really bad during o time when I o on the other side it's just like a stabbing pain.

jaysnr · 13/08/2019 18:56

@Sophieb15 I was using the clearblue OPKs this month, it got to the day I was expecting the static smiley then my OH was giving DS a bath and dropped the entire thing in the water! After seeing 7 flashing smileys and waiting to see if I finally ovulated I wasn't impressed! Got a positive on the cheapies so I think I'm 2-3dpo now! Last time I was TTC I tested like crazy so this time I'm aiming more for a more zen approach Grin

wannabemum38 · 13/08/2019 18:23

Hi thought I would join this thread too as so many in same boat. Im also on the over 35 thread as well

My stats
TTC #1
Cycle 1
CD18
3DPO
AF/BFP (big fat positive) due 24th August
Age 38 (39 next month)

Got my positive OPK on Friday 9th could only DTD Saturday evening and Sunday managed it a few times. I may have missed the boat this month although pretty sure I ovulated saturday as had CM
The legs in the air thing is meant to be a myth however my best mate said she tried it on her third cycle and got pregnant that month so I gave it a shot!

lorns01 · 13/08/2019 18:21

@Sophieb15 hope you have a great holiday - anywhere nice?
When are you due to ov this month? I'm due in the next few days. Will the scan confirm if you have ENDO?

Tamalama · 13/08/2019 17:58

My tests have arrived. I thought 2 packs of 2 tests was going to be 4 tests, but I've been sent 8 tests! 😱🤦‍♀️🙈 totally didn't want that many 😂

Sophieb15 · 13/08/2019 17:25

Welcome@jaysnr Yes you have come to the right place Are you doing OPK's?

OP posts:
jaysnr · 13/08/2019 16:14

Hey all can I join?

Moving over from Netmums after their big login disaster and I am bursting to talk TTC! Haven't figured out how to use this app yet so I might be posting in the wrong place!

Cycle 1 TTC # 2
AF/BFP 22/23rd Aug

I'm 27 and we're going for the infamous 18 month age gap. Would have liked to have waited a little longer but for health reasons the longer we wait the harder it'll be so we're just going for it!

Sophieb15 · 13/08/2019 15:58

@lorns01 I'm not sure I'm pretty sure they have to test your egg supply first and maybe blood tests to make sure your Ovulating.

I think I have ENDO getting really bad O pain and PMS and it only seems to be since after DC1 I had the implant for nearly 3 years and since getting it out in Jan I've been getting the bad pain. My doctor has a ultrasound appointment ready for me I just wanted to wait until after holidays before I went because I've to pay for it. So this is month 7 for me going on hols in 4 weeks so If I don't get a BFP this month or when I come back from hols in Sept then I will go for the scan.

Hi @Sophieb15 my DH is going for sperm testing on Thursday (sorry I don't know the abbreviation for this 😂) so if he's ok, I'll go to the docs next week. Any idea what first step they'll take?
Awwww, big congrats for the BFP. Always nice to hear a success story
