Just got a BFP. I took the test during my lunch break, it was more out of boredom than a real belief that I could be preggers.

Am totally stunned.

I have only had 1 AF since giving birth a year ago. That AF was eight weeks ago. I was not surprised when another did not follow 4 weeks later as I thought it would take a while for normal service to resume.

The thing is I have not had sex since the AF. Seriously. Therefore one of the following most be true:

  1. I was pregnant before last AF and it was not a real AF. But it was very, very heavy so this seems an unlikely option. It would also make me quite far along (10 weeks?) which is too scarey for words.

  2. This is an immacualte conception.

I am not at all sure what to beleive. Am sitting at my desk staring at the test. Have not called DP yet. Maybe I should call the Vatican instead.

YEEEEEAAAAAA!!! Spent so much time checking this thread yesterday, that last night I dreamt I was pregnant with the son of God!

Many many congratulations to you!!! Hope that it will continue to be a happy pregnancy for you. What a great story to tell!

BTW, I too managed to be almost 11 weeks pg without figuring it out!

duchesse · 01/08/2007 13:08

Congratulations!

Funny ISAA- I thought it was that dodgy sea bass. For nearly three blooming months... How thick could I be? Even my boss kept telling me I was pregnant (but then people think that if any women of child-bearing age confesses to feeling slightly nauseous). Lucky I was still breast-feeding, so not drinking much anyway.

DH is over the moon. Being a man he is absurdly proud that he was given one shot at impregnating me and against all the odds "his little men" did the business .

It is very exciting. I am not sure we could be more exciting if it had been the child of God and we had needed to engage Max Clifford to handle the international interest.

I just can't beleive that this time yesterday only 1% of my mind was at all suspicious and today I am staring at the picture of little human who has been living inside me all along.
