Just got a BFP. I took the test during my lunch break, it was more out of boredom than a real belief that I could be preggers.

Am totally stunned.

I have only had 1 AF since giving birth a year ago. That AF was eight weeks ago. I was not surprised when another did not follow 4 weeks later as I thought it would take a while for normal service to resume.

The thing is I have not had sex since the AF. Seriously. Therefore one of the following most be true:

  1. I was pregnant before last AF and it was not a real AF. But it was very, very heavy so this seems an unlikely option. It would also make me quite far along (10 weeks?) which is too scarey for words.

  2. This is an immacualte conception.

I am not at all sure what to beleive. Am sitting at my desk staring at the test. Have not called DP yet. Maybe I should call the Vatican instead.

Hi there. I've been away from Mumsnet for days, and this is one of the first threads I've come back to - its been so suspenseful, I've loved reading it! BIG CONGRATS. Shame about the son of God thing...but lets face it, you didnt want all those shepherds and kings waving frankincense all over your newborn, eh? :-)

Good luck xxx

Hulababy · 12/08/2007 19:34

What an exciting thread! Anyone know when she might be back?

Congratulations Peachy

NAB3 · 12/08/2007 19:27

That's okay then. It is justa thought that has come to me twice and I would hate for a newly pregnant lady to be upset.

motherinferior · 12/08/2007 19:26

I hardly think that someone who has posted this amount of information MN will be that put out if we work out who she is!

NAB3 · 12/08/2007 19:22

Do you think she will be a bit upset if we guess? She may have very good reasons for not letting on to us yet....

SlightlyMadSpider · 12/08/2007 19:21

Indeed - shall we have a roll call. Starting with those who are on the May-Oct 2006 post-natal clubs and still bf (given she has an approx 1yr old and has only just returned to AF .

purplemonkeydishwasher · 12/08/2007 17:06
