Hi all,

suppose i'm just feeling very deflated lately. It's my 8th cycle trying to conceive.

I've tried having sex everyday, every other day, every 2 days, temping, Opks and nothing is working. I did have my progesterone and thyroid checked and they were fine. Progesterone was 44 on day 21.

I'm 29 years old and beginning to lose hope.

I suppose I am just looking for a little hope. If it took longer than 8 months for you to get pregnant, when did it happen and what helped you?

sincerely, losing hope.

@ohthejoys

We’re on month 8 too. To make things worse, period is 3 days late but I’ve had two negative tests. Period is usually every 27 days.

It’s normal for it to take up to a year. I think it’s the sex ed that we have as teenagers that makes us all think we should get pregnant at the drop of a hat.

I'm on cycle 11 with no luck yet, completely know how you feel 💖

Had 2 with ex. I always say that if took 11 months with the first and 2.5 mins with the second! Grin

With ds 1 we had tests and were about to start IUI and hey presto - despite a very very low sperm count. We also dtd 5 days I a row - instead of every other day. Not sure if that Helped.

With ds 2 it was first month.

8 months here and I started taking the tablets luiza zissman (if that's how you spell her name) suggested
the month before. So not sure if just coincidence or not that I fell pregnant the month after taking them x

Ok, hope is slowly returning.

It is driving me mad. I think it is more because I feel it well never happen rather than how long.

Nice to hear that i'm probably just being impatient.

Up to a year is normal.

Took me 14 months to conceive my first. Did nothing special.

Took one night to conceive my second!

5.5years for #1, 4 years for #2.

For me it was losing weight and having a lot of sex. I hope it's much, much quicker for you. Being in the midst of this is horrible Thanks.
