@XjustagirlX I wonder if you are about to start your AF. I agree with @ELW85 I think CD15/16 would be about right for ov. I find that my temp sometimes drops the day before I start my period. There is quite a lot of variation. If you do get your AF soon then you’ll have a better idea of time. As you do BBT for longer it is easier to see patterns and it should help to identify when ov is likely to be. Xx

@XjustagirlX - hi, yes, you still bleed with an anovulatory cycle which is really misleading, but definitely where temps can help.
Is it your first month temping, to see if you’ve got anything else to compare it to?

@ELW85 ye it’s so confusing. I took my temps at roughly the same times but I was a bit lax in the first two weeks so some were taken later.

If I haven’t ovulated then would I still have a period?

@XjustagirlX - If I had to say from your chart, it would be CD15, but to be honest, your temps are quite erratic.
Are you taking them at the same time every day, as soon as you wake?
It could also be an anovulatory cycle, they aren’t unusual, particularly if you’re stressed?

I actually had 4/5 follicles on the left alone today. Re scan Monday. Hoping they'll be ok with me triggering and don't deem this too many!

Still very cautious in any optimism!

I really don’t know what’s going on with my bbt. I thought I ovulated on CD23 because of my peak. Someone on here suggested maybe CD15. AF is due anywhere between Sunday and Wednesday.

My bbt dropped yesterday and has increased this morning but just back to a normal temp.

I’ve had no spotting yet. Terrible dull cramps yesterday. Boobs aren’t sore. I did a text this morning and it was a BFN.

I’m so confused. What do you think?

Hi @Larrydavid I came off the pill in February and the last few periods I had before finding out I'm pregnant were pretty light! Much lighter than previously. I only really got a proper flow for 2 days and even that wasn't particularly heavy. I figured for me it was because with the pill I was previously on, I didn't ovulate so I probably just didn't have much uterine wall to actually shed because it hadn't built back up 🤷‍♀️

So sorry hear that @MrsH497 keeping everything crossed for you for next month!

My temp dropped right back down from 36.76 to 36.34 overnight! This is just ridiculous now so not going to bother next month while we're on holiday.

@MrsH497 I'm so sorry AF showed and that you had such a weird cycle! Hopefully new cycle is the positive one. A free weekend stay at your wedding venue sounds brilliant . We did Santorini last May and it was absolutely stunning - can't recommend it enough! I hope you're okay xx

Sorry can't help re light periods. Is it worth speaking to your GP about getting a blood test once you have ovulated to see that all your levels are okay?

@Larrydavid - ah yes, the half asleep temping anxiety dreams! I’ve definitely been there :) I’m sure you’re spot on with it!
I'm ok thanks my dear; mild panic when symptoms fluctuate so really can’t wait for the next scan on 26th. Still haven’t had my 12 week letter through, so I’m particularly pleased we’ve got the other one in case they’re late with it.

@MrsH497 - you can definitely start on CD5; you’ll get a good few days pre Ov temp to be able to see a post Ov shift.

Hey, does anyone have any advice on light periods? I'm kinda worried I'd not be able to carry a pregnancy (I've had one chemical so far). I'm fairly regular since having coil out (5/6 months ago) but I don't get anything more than light flow for about two days. Anything I can do to get it a bit more normal? I'm going back to acupuncture tomorrow. Grateful for any advice 🙏🏻

@ELW85 so we've got a weekend away end of this month back to our wedding venue (free overnight stay!!) then end of next month I'm thinking somewhere sunny I still feel cheated out of our Florida holiday!! Majorca/canaries/Greece 3/4 nights. Anyone got any recommendations?

Af due Sunday. Did an IC on weds (why?!?!) And it was bfn. It wouldn't have shown anyway. I'm out for drinks tomorrow, not testing again either so it's just a wait and see and avoid the tequilas!

@ValidUser our friends had their baby boy (Leo) last weekend of course I'm so happy for them but I ache for it to be us.
Oh yeah I had that glimmer of hope but no luck this month. Think we are going to have a weekend away get SMEP going and enjoy just being hubby and wifey xx

Hello everyone. Long time no chat. I've been feeling really down with all of it and having a very stressful time in general. Still here. On cycle 14. Still injecting. Scan tomorrow.

@Gemster19 Sorry to hear about your miscarriage you're doing so well not to early test. I see your logic though, BFN are so disappointing.

This is my first month properly trying since my ectopic in December, I managed to get pregnant on my first cycle so I think at the back of my mind I'm worried the ectopic might've affected things and it may take longer this time.

Luckily it's nearly the weekend & will hopefully take our minds off the TWW x

Sorry to hear that @MrsH497, I got so caught up in everyone telling me I was bound to fall pregnant again straight away after, but I'm trying to think that any cycle it doesn't happen is just more time for my body to get ready to do everything my rainbow baby will need 💜
