@newgirl89 I’d trust it! The FRER can pick up as early as 8DPO I think. I don’t know what you do now but maybe get a GP appointment? You’ll be waiting weeks for that anyway if it’s anything like where I live! Enjoy the moment until then 😊💜

newgirl89 · 28/07/2019 18:37

@Makingawish can I trust it as I did it quite early!? What do I do now haha ❤️

Makingawish · 28/07/2019 18:34

@newgirl89 that’s a BFP to me! Huge congratulations 🤗

newgirl89 · 28/07/2019 18:10

Oh goodness. I am freaking out slightly!
Here is my FRER. The lines are totally clear. I am 10 dpo. I ordered tests on amazon. And literally did this one just because I had it in the drawer.
We have only been kind of trying this cycle.
Do you think this is accurate. What do I do!
My message doesn't seem it. But. I am over the moon. I just at the same time am terrified!! X

@LokiCat I've read really good things about it. I didn't start until CD9 but hopefully will work! Got a nice weekend away next weekend for a wedding g as well which will coincide hopefully with fertile window! Xx

LikeTheFruit · 28/07/2019 15:04

Just came to see how you're all getting on

Huge huge congratulations @cupcakesandglitter I couldn't be more delighted for you!!! Wishing you the healthiest of 9 months ahead!

LokiCat · 28/07/2019 14:25

@ELW85 candles and trash TV on sounds like the perfect start to a Sunday! Oh no, sorry things are still so crazy at work. I hope it's not too bad when you go in tomorrow! Definitely good mindset to enjoy today and not focus on tomorrow.
Week away was good, I think our next session is in October, so a little while before we go away again.

@Anny27 haha I know what you mean! I get so excited buying for our house, my younger self would have been so ashamed 😂

@MrsH497 fingers crossed it works! From what I've seen, it's seemed to have worked for the ladies on this thread!

@cupcakesandglitter so happy for you. Sounds like you had a very relaxed and happy cycle as well, which is great. Have everything crossed it's a healthy pregnancy xx

@Kiza thanks for sharing that. I hope all goes well at the appointment on Friday and you do get some reassuring answers/plan.
I've read that many couples seem to get different answers in relation to TTC depending on their trust, as well, which is quite frustrating.

@MIW01 tbh, sex every other has been recommended by NHS when TTC anyway, regardless of OPKs, so sounds like you're on the right track :)

ValidUser · 28/07/2019 13:22

@MIW01 was it you who asked about my fertility treatments last thread? I replied in this thread, but couldn't tag you.

Cycle 13, chemical pregnancy cycle 12, found a bad tube cycle 4, had it removed cycle 7/8, found out remaining tube is open, having hormone injections to try and get an egg from the good side.

I'll be 30 in January - we're going to keep follicle tracking until then. Then IVF if I'm not pregnant!

MIW01 · 28/07/2019 13:06

@ValidUser ah I see. Thanks for that! We have been doing that apart from the OPKs so I guess not quite as accurate.

@cupcakesandglitter huge congratulations and celebrations to you! The odds were in your favour after such a long time waiting. That gives me hope as we both have something 'a little bit wrong' as the GP put it. DP has poor motility, so sluggish swimmers and I have low progesterone so will be more difficult for it to happen naturally for us. So I'm glad to hear that even with low odds it can happen!

@ELW85 hope you are starting to feel better and all is progressing OK?

Shout out to everyone who got BFN this month, here's to next month and more baby making time to enjoy! Smile

Kiza · 28/07/2019 11:56

I have my GP appointment on Friday to discuss concerns around us conceiving/miscarriages.
I've been swotting up on NICE guidelines after hearing some stories of GP's turning people away for investigations unless they've been TTC for at least 2 years (which is not true it's 1 year)
So thought for any of you who are heading to the GP and not getting the support you need I'd post the link to the NICE guidelines

www.nice.org.uk/guidance/cg156/chapter/Recommendations#investigation-of-fertility-problems-and-management-strategies

cupcakesandglitter · 28/07/2019 10:35

@ELW85 😂😂 that'd be pretty cool, let's wait and see 😁😁 xx

ELW85 · 28/07/2019 10:30

@cupcakesandglitter - that’s awesome!! I keep getting variations between 22-27th but the majority say 22nd. Imagine if we end up going into labour on the same day 😂

cupcakesandglitter · 28/07/2019 10:07

Thankyou @FlapJackered his morphology was 1%, his count wasn't too bad this time (last SA he had an issue with everything) if I remember right, we DTD with my legs on his shoulders, then he left and I finished off with my legs on the headboard 😂 and then was in London for a few days so did an obscene amount of walking (for me anyway 😂) we ate super healthy at the start of my cycle (slowly dithered off back to normal though) but I've not been temping or using OPKs, and actually wasn't using my app to check where I was unless I was posting on here!! I didn't "relax" though and tbh up until ovulation I'd had a really shit time - a few days after I'd ovulated we had some really good news and I can genuinely say I've been happy and felt like me for the last couple of weeks, I really think that had a lot to do with it xx

@ELW85 according to my LMP I'm 25th of March!!!! Omg!! Almost EDD twins!! (For now, I know I ovulated late 😂😂) wahooo 🎉🎉

Thankyou @Imjustme2019 @Larrydavid ❤️❤️

MrsEvangeline · 28/07/2019 10:05

Hello! New to mumsnet and thought I'd join this thread. Hope that's ok. Been ttc 1st baby for 16 months. PCOS and recent HSG with a blocked tube. Done FRER today 9dpo and had a shadow. Anyone else experienced this? Got pain in left ovary moving to my uterus. Feek like I'm going crazy!!!

Larrydavid · 28/07/2019 09:59

@cupcakesandglitter huge huge congratulations! 🎉

Imjustme2019 · 28/07/2019 09:30

Morning ladies,

Congratulations @cupcakesandglitter wonderful news.

Thanks for the recommendation @Lozzlepop I have DP agreement we'll give it a go this coming cycle (AT arrived Thursday) not told him what it involves just told him it's a plan to follow.

ELW85 · 28/07/2019 08:37

Morning all!
Treating myself to a few hours in bed with candles on and watching trash TV. Basically, living the dream!!

@LokiCat - I’m good thank you my love! Had a crazy week at work last week and think I'll be walking into a shit storm tomorrow, but that’s a different day so I’m putting it to the back of my mind for now!
I hope being away with work went well and that you don’t have to do it again for a while?

@cupcakesandglitter - how exciting!! According to my LMP and cycle length, I’m due on DH’s Birthday 🎂 so 22nd March. I realise it’ll probably be massively late, but that’s the current position 😂 how about you?

FlapJackered · 28/07/2019 07:15

@cupcakesandglitter it is SUCH amazing news! Bless your DH! It definitely gives me hope as my DH's morphology is low too.
How bad was your DH's morphology? Did you do anything differently this cycle?
I will keep everything crossed you have a smooth ride to the scan at 7 weeks. Xxx

cupcakesandglitter · 28/07/2019 02:19

Ooh yes @ELW85 we'll be like a week out with EDD?!! 🎉

Thankyou @MrsH497 it means a lot ❤️❤️

MrsH497 · 28/07/2019 01:55

@LokiCat 😂its all fun and games I reckon the first few days!! I just hope it works. I read it was originally "designed" or thought of for women post miscarriage and it meant to increase success from 20-25% chance each month to 40%.

@cupcakesandglitter you and @ELW85 will be almost due date buddies! I'm so happy for you and hubby xx

cupcakesandglitter · 28/07/2019 00:12

Thankyou my love @FlapJackered 😭❤️❤️ I know, I said the same to @MrsH497 how amazing is it that we have gone through every up and down together? 😭 DH is still in shock but ecstatic, he told his mum straightaway because he couldn't hold it in! I just keep sitting there thinking like we had less than 1% chance with his morphology being so bad, and it's literally taken that one 😭 of course I'll keep you updated!!! It's been 13 long horrible cycles but I can't believe I finally have it 😭 going for an early scan at 7 weeks and keeping everything crossed until then!!! Xx

FlapJackered · 27/07/2019 23:20

Oh my God!! I just popped on to catch up and @cupcakesandglitter CONGRATULATIONS! I am so so happy for you, you deserve it! We have been on these boards for a long time together and I have been rooting for you! Please keep us updated! How did your DH take it? I bet he is over the moon. ❤️❤️

georgiarclark11 · 27/07/2019 22:51

I am trying for a baby but some months I just don’t get a period! (Have some tests - not preg) have always been irregular but am starting to panic about it.. I know these things take time but what can I do if I’m just not ovulating!?

ValidUser · 27/07/2019 21:55

@MIW01 google sperm meets egg plan

Anny27 · 27/07/2019 21:48

@LokiCat we got some a new kitchen storage unit which i am very excited about!! (my teenage self would have a big old laugh at he stuff that brings me joy these days haha)

After noting all my TWW symptoms for the past 2 cycles, i have noticed that they my pre period symptoms are very similar to early pregnancy which is rubbish. Next month i wont track it and hopefully i am less obsessive
