@whatsthecraic91 fingers crossed for you!!!

flossy12 · 05/08/2019 05:14

@whatsthecraic91 ooohhh exciting times!! I feel like AF is on her way 🙃 had mild cramps and like 3 bowel motions in one shift at work so there some tell tale signs for me 😅😅

MrsH497 · 05/08/2019 00:11

Keeping everything crossed @whatsthecraic91 any af symptoms?

whatsthecraic91 · 04/08/2019 23:22

Well AF is officially late! Testing in the morning 🤞🏼

Macbless · 04/08/2019 20:56

@MrsH497 it is such a good distraction. We moved into our new house three weeks ago and I’ve been distracting myself with Pinterest and instagram! Oh and a bit of gardening. Hope you find the right home soon xx

May2311 · 04/08/2019 18:48

@82YorkshireLass welcome!! I joined this group a few weeks ago and everyone is so helpful! It’s nice being able to voice our worries/craziness to others in similar positions😂😊 xxx

MrsH497 · 04/08/2019 17:22

Macbless · 04/08/2019 16:39

@82YorkshireLass - welcome! I’m also in Yorkshire. I’m relatively new on this forum and everyone is lovely! Xx

Imjustme2019 · 04/08/2019 14:50

Hey everyone,

Hope you're all having nice weekends.

@MrsH497 we've not got started with SMEP, DP had really stressful and tiring week at work, will see what happens.

Thanks @Lozzlepop and @ELW85 we're ok, just a tough week.

@Anny27 love your idea of a holiday every fertile week

Macbless · 04/08/2019 14:39

By ‘things can go up and down’ I meant CM can be different each month!

Macbless · 04/08/2019 14:37

@MIW01 I was a bit worried about my CM this month. Last month had loads and this month hardly any. At the point my app suggested I should ovulate I also had no positive OPKs and my temp was low but a couple of days later still with minimal CM I got the positive and a then a temp rise. I do think things can go up and down. I’m only taking folic acid and vit D so again not sure I can comment on the supplements xxx

Sunshine8888 · 04/08/2019 14:28

@MIW01 your trip sounds great! The PCH is stunning.

I don’t think the spotting is anything to worry about during ovulation, last month I got lots of watery CM to the point where I was worried AF had arrived / I had wet myself 🙈 it was quite the shock but believe it is normal for some ladies! I think it can also be different each month! I’m not sure about the effects of all the supplements as I’m only taking folic acid, other than that carrying on as normal.

Sunshine8888 · 04/08/2019 14:23

@Lemonysherbet ahhh that’s good to know! Thanks 😊

MIW01 · 04/08/2019 13:54

@LokiCat sorry for delayed reply. It's been hectic! Had to shift our planning to every 36 hours alternating between morning and evening as had friends staying since Thursday and pretty sure I'm ovulating. CD 14 today! We're flying in to San Francisco and out from LA and will be travelling down the coastal road after attending DP's cousins wedding. Should be a good getaway!

Some advice please? Today I'm getting some translucent spotting! I dont normally get ovulation spotting, which I guess this is asI got the sharp ovulation pain yesterday on my right side (last month was the left). I'm a bit concerned as I don't normally get this. I've been taking pregnacare preconception, methyl folate, magnesium, calcium, D3, ashwanga and maca. I was taking bites but advised to stop this, list dose was Monday. Nutrition wise for 3 weeks I've been following g the hormone reset plan, I've dropped a bit of weight and feeling better in myself! Anyone have any experience or any ideas if this is something to worry about or what might be causing it?

82YorkshireLass · 04/08/2019 13:06

Hi! Can I please join? Smile First month TTC our first. I've been lurking around here for a while getting some hints and tips but still feeling like a complete amateur! I've been using ovulation tests to give us the best chance. Hope everything goes well for you all!

Lemonysherbet · 04/08/2019 12:16

@sunshine8888 they reduced the waiting time a couple of months ago 😁 3 months isn't too bad if you want a break.

Oh also just to flag boots have spend £10 get £2 back in points. I took advantage and bought some preseed- first time so will be interesting to try it!

Sunshine8888 · 04/08/2019 11:41

@Lemonysherbet I hate zika!! I love the Caribbean but can’t go now we are ttc ☹️ I thought the risk was 6 months with men and 4-6 weeks for the girl though. 3 months isn’t so bad although would feel an age when wanting to start ttc!

Anny27 · 03/08/2019 20:40

@MrsH497 thats so good that you have supportive friends!
Regarding SMEP - I think the 3 days in a row is so hard haha especially if its during the work week. I need to take a holiday every fertile week and then DTD every night wont be a problem haha

@Lemonysherbet looks positive to me :D i reckon even if you miss tonight and DTD tomorrow you will be fine:)

Lemonysherbet · 03/08/2019 17:40

@Lottiepink he genuinely is hairier than the cat. It's a good think I like hairy men, he's only getting hairier 🤦‍♀️

We stayed in the riu Yucatan in playacar and the wedding was at one of the other rius just round the corner. Couldn't fault it one bit.

Awesome thanks. We DTD last night, not sure either of us have the energy to go again tonight, typical! My app said I was due to ovulate Tuesday so thought we had loads of time!!!

Lottiepink · 03/08/2019 16:55

@MrsH497 it's such hard work 😂 yes fingers crossed you still caught it, we did it the night of my positive opk and then the next night, hoping we are in with a chance too. Aww having such supportive friends which have been in them circumstances will make it that little bit easier 😊
It's really warm today, I'm currently sat in the garden 😊

@Lemonysherbet yes the journey is long, but worth the wait! It's the journey back that killed me haha! Where did you stay?

Haha 😂 that made me laugh 😂
I would defo count that as positive! To me it looks just as dark as the control!
You better get at it 🤣🤣

P.s. the hair in the photo is from my husband's chest 😂 he is hairier than the cat and moults more than her too!

Lemonysherbet · 03/08/2019 16:38

So took an opk, glow is saying it's not positive. Is it lying? I've never had one come up this dark before so I would assume it is positive?

@lottiepink yes it was incredible. The hotel was amazing too! If it wasn't so far away I'd be back in a heartbeat!

MrsH497 · 03/08/2019 16:23

@Lottiepink we did ok first few days doing the every other day then got the positive OPK (earlier than I expected) and with travelling to Yorkshire for the wedding we just didn't manage the 3 days in a row. DTD as soon as I got the positive OPK though so fingers crossed.

As a group of friends they are fantastic all us ladies have had issues me with a MC and taking a while to actually fall pregnant, one ectopic, a stillborn and one friend with pcos so extremely unlikely she will conceive she's been told.

How's everyone's weekend?
