Hope you all don't mind me starting this one off, but last one was nearly full... already,
Hi to all the newbies ☺️ sorry for everyone I missed, just went through some of the recents, so please mark your place 😊
I try to keep up mused but it moves so fast 🤣

@Kiza oh that sounds brilliant, Cape Town will be amazing I'm sure. I've always wanted to visit South Africa.

Thank you! We don't always get quality time together because of DH's work, so I'm glad when we get date nights here and there! 😊

@whatsthecraic91 true, I'm trying not to get my hopes though because it's quite early (don't think it would have even implanted yet)..
Sorry that you're still stuck in limbo. It's difficult when you want to test but then don't want to see a bfn again.. Are your cycles generally quite regular (sorry if you've already answered).

@Lottiepink yeah I love a good date night Grin thanks lovely. 6dpo is early so no symptoms isn't too much to worry about! I think the sore boobs is due to the progesterone tbh.
Fingers crossed it's a positive cycle!

@flossy12 you should get a better idea after this cycle then, sorry I can't remember if you temp or not but My app is pretty accurate but i think the temps really help , and when I ovulate later than normal, it instantly puts my af due date back. I suppose you will kinda have to wait it out ☹️ fingers crossed for you af doesn't arrive 😊

@Lottiepink tbh none have always been on the mark, Flo was one day out last month I think but this is the first time I've had a positive OPK during my cycle x

@LokiCat sounds like a lovely anniversary, just nice to get a few hours out together isn't it 😊 6 dpo today and no symptoms for me... hope your sore boobs are a good sign!

@flossy12 it's so confusing isn't it, which app is usually the most accurate?

@whatsthecraic91 you're doing well to resist testing, are you cycles usually really regular, or can they sometimes differ month to month?

Still no AF for me, 3 days late now still spotting on and off. Really reluctant to test 😓

So AF due today (7th) according to Flo, no sign as of yet, no cramps etc, however not due until 9th on Glow and not till 11th on Ovia so 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ no idea what's happening

@LokiCat yeah we've taken 2 months break and booked flights for Cape Town for new year so will start TTC again next cycle, I thought it'd help me but it hasn't unfortunately. I don't often get down or grumpy, I'm usually one of those positive upbeat people so just feeling off since the weekend.
Congratulations on your anniversary today and lovely that you got to spend some quality time together

@Kiza ah no, sorry you're still feeling grumpy! I hope the flowers helped a bit? Is it worth taking a break from TTC, if it's making you this stressful/affecting your moods? I know it can be the last thing you want to do sometimes when you've been trying for so long.
I'm a lot better today thanks, mostly because it's our 2 year anniversary so we went out for a lovely dinner before DH had to shoot off for a night shift!

@MrsH497 glad your spasms have lessened! Hope you manage a better nights sleep tonight x

@Anny27 MN was all over the place for me! Gave up trying to message during the day. Yay for new SMEP cycle! Fingers crossed this one is the one. Also, hopefully you'll be less shattered this time following your own version! Grin

5dpo today and I can't believe how sore my breasts have been the last 2/3 days. I've had to stop DH from hugging me too hard as they really hurt. Never had that this early.. 🤔

Evening ladies! When mumsnet went down yesterday i could see that people were tagging me in messages but i couldnt actually find them on the thread so i am sorry if i haven't responded to anyone! Think its back up and running properly now :D

How is everyone doing?

I am cycle day 8 so started our own version of SMEP yesterday :)

Hey @Kiza fewer spasms which is good but I'm shattered every time I turned over last night it went into spasm so early night for me. Nice warm shower and got some heat patches for work tomorrow.
Mood is better I think mum is convinced it'll happen soon and so is my dad apparently! Bizarre parents I have!

@MrsH497 yeh I was told not to take ibuprofen by someone on here, as @Kiza said heat packs usually do a good job of helping

@MIW01 never managed to check my cervix successfully, so interesting tho! Might try next cycle. All sounds good tho, so get dtd 😂 your temperatures are maybe a bit all over with the weather? I keep finding it really close and hot at night so opening my window more etc and wondered if that's also affecting my temps? I had a dip below cover line yesterday at 4dpo which I found odd too!

@Macbless that's interesting. I have read it can vary month to month.

So no more spotting and yesterday my cervix had dropped, was really soft and I could feel a dip which I assume means it's open and for the 1st time I head definite EWCM! So pretty sure I am extremely fertile atm but my temperature is still all over the place despite the fact I've been tempting at the same time everyday for the past 7 days.

@MrsH497 a weekend break sounds fab, I think you're ok with paracetamol but not ibuprofen? Could you try a heat pack instead?

@flossy12 Prune juice? 😆 I hate the juice but can happily snack on prunes...

Ibuprofen and other painkillers are we meant to avoid them TTC? And during the tww? My neck has gone into spasm and I'm hurting paracetamol hasn't touched it am I ok to take something stronger?

@LokiCat I'm 10dpo today according to my apps and a positive OPK

Had a few symptoms last cycle but no luck, I'm was going to test on the 8th although I'm due AF on the 7th

@Lozzlepop I'm glad you're okay, understandable to have some off days. I hope AF shows up soon!
Ahh I love 24 hours in police custody, although DH just sits there critiquing everything they're doing (downside of being married to a 👮🏽‍♂️- he always complains that cop shows are doing it wrong 🙄)! Has the new season started again?
